Raven just looked at Aren and sighed as she closed her door behind her then just fell onto her bed. "My dad is such an a*****e." she mumbled into her pillow guessing that Aren could hear. She remembered when she was younger and her father loved to hang out with her. That was before her grandfather came back and explained to her father that he felt that the family could become even more powerful, if they proposed an arranged marriage. After she became old enough to meet the boy, who she tried to avoid whenever he came, Raven and her father never truly saw eye-to-eye after that.

Raven suddenly felt tired and frustrated. She just looked over at Aren. "I know we just met and all, but i could really use a hug." she said, feeling her voice kinda break a little as she spoke.

Raven hugged him, and let a few tears falling silently down her cheek. Her brother should've had to deal with this whole arranged marriage situation, not her.

After hearing the exchange between her daughter and husband,Elizabeth decided to go talk to her husband. "Sweetie, I think you're being a little too hard in Raven about this whole arranged marriage situation." she said sitting in his lap, and gently running her fingers through his hair. "I mean you went against your father's wishes when you refused to marry someone he had arranged for you to marry, and married me instead."

Raven eventually silently cried herself to sleep in Aren's arms.

Elizabeth frowned at what her husband was saying. "I can't believe you woudld say that Viktor." she said getting up and crossing her arms across her chest. "If i remember correctly, you were just like your daughter, just as rebellious in every way. and apparently you've forgotten about the incident between our son and your father when he found out that your father was behind this whole arranged marriage situation." She never liked bringing up that incident, because ever since then the entire family had lost the closeness it once had. "You're son still loves you, Viktor. He just wants his younger sister to have the freedom to choose who to be with like both you and him did." She kissed Viktor softly on his head. "I'm sure we can get her to meet this young man eventually, and if it doesn't work out, then we just let everything play out on its own ok?" With that, she smiled sweetly at husband then walked out of his office, and over to Raven's room. Knocking lightly on Raven's door before letting herself in, she caught Aren's scent. 'I hope Viktor keeps his cool, when he realizes that there's a boy in Raven's room. she thought as she peaked in and noticed Raven sleeping. She saw Aren, and smiled and waved at him, before gently closing the door and walking to the library/study to relax with some tea.

Raven continued to rest peacefully.

Raven after 15 minutes or so woke up feeling somewhat refreshed. "Are you ok, Aren?" she asked noticing that he looked like he was getting lost in his thoughts.

"I'm fine now that i've rested a bit." Raven said as she brushed some hair out of her face. "As for my mom, she's more reasonable in terms of everything. She doesn't hold fast to the the whole arranged marriage thing like my dad does." Then she got up and walked over to the door. "I'll be right back, just stay here." she said smiling before walking out of her room and closing the door behind her, before walking over to her father's study.

Stopping right outside her father's study, she took a deep breath and sighed, feeling somewhat nervous and calked herself, before knocking lightly on the door. "Father, can I come in?"

Raven grit her teeth slightly but stayed calm as she walked into the room. "Yes I am, father." she said sitting across from him. "I'm willing to see this young man, and give him a chance, but if I don't like him then i don't like him." she said definitely as she crossed her arms across her chest and watched her dad to see what he would say.

"I understand father, but I am my own person you know." she said her expression softening somewhat as she looked at her father. There was something about the look on his face that she hadn't seen in a while. He seemed tired, almost sad about something. "Is something wrong, father?" she asked him.
