Amaya placed her lips upon the straw for her shake. She took a sip as Kumori spoke "shall we work on taking her off the top?" she asked, an almost, wicked gleam in her eye. "As for the Urmbra Knights, you were no help in keeping that under the radar milord" she said to Exceed.

"No... it would be best to let her destroy herself when the time comes... with age comes wear, and as the wear continues, it won't be long till her own gauntlets have a failure in maintenance." Kumori told her as he didn't even look to Amaya, staring into his own shake as the chocolate was darkening slowly. "I cannot keep them under control.... they are defects of our kind.... they are no longer shades, but are something even darker." Kumori told Amaya coldly.

Her face stonewalled, Amaya had rarely seen Kumori like this. "Then we who are our stature should deal with this" she said. She slid her shake away and pulled out her guns "seems I have found what I need to do" she said taking her clips and checking the chambers. She looked at her ammunition and frowned. Lead bullets would be of no use to her.

Kumori kept his sights on his chocolate shake, hearing her speak before he heard her guns clicking. "This is out of your league Amaya.... you need training to get stronger for starters.... I already heard back from the Queen and Auriel prior to us coming here... they may have been apart of our community, but they're based at what was once Pakolo Village.... Umbranian creatures..... or monsters of the dark, are way out of our league... not until we can get them to set themselves up to be let down."

Metal slid on metal as the clips slammed home in the pistols. Amaya placed them back in their holsters on the back of her hips. She turned her eyes to Kumori "then what is it you wish me to do Lord Hell?" she asked him.

"I need you to head to Pakolo village and try to mark one of the Umbras with a silent Tracker round." Kumori told her as he produced the bullet and held it out for her before he soon continued. "It will help us keep a location on one of the knights and find their main location aside from Pakolo." He told Amaya softly.

She gently took the bullet from Kumori. She listened to what he wanted. "Alright but remember I work for you not Yuran" she said to him. "If I am to hunt and stalk this prey, I need information" she said. She needed to know her target if she was to shoot the target and get away.

"That I already know my Cousin, you and your father already devoted yourselves to my servitude after what we went through. I don't aim to take advantage of that however." Kumori finished.

₪ Shinzo Oshiro ₪
Reaper/ Paladin/ Aeromancer
No one could know just yet, this was going to be his secret until it was ready. Shinzo wore a tatered robe and carried a wooden chest with him. He had spent his time in the war wisely, finding the fragments all over the kingdom until he had all of the pieces. He entered the forge and asked the owner if he could use the forge himself if he paid the owner. The man was happy with the deal and left Shinzo to work the forge himself. It took several hours until the final bade was completed. He smiled down at Glazadriel and he placed his hand upon the blade. The weapon glowed before the energy lept into the air and into Shin's body. The by jerked back a bit before the light vanished and he had what he came for. He left the shop with his knew weapon and now he had to become more powerful to save Percita. -exit-
Weapons: Reaper gauntlets (instead of it being black it is bronze)
Glazadriel
Weapon Name: Glazadriel Weapon Rank: Same as user Weapon Type: Claim weapon: Dual bladed sword Weapon Description:
Ordinary looking to most people, Glazadriel is known as the solar crucibal. First forged by an unknown paladin emperor. The blade was infused with the solstices sunlight and the emperors own aura. The sword can channel light energy and weaponize it in different ways. It can also capture sunlight and either store it or release it to combat beings of dark magic. The bigger blade stores the light and releases it while the smaller blade focuses the light for its different abilities. The sword has been shattered twice during major battles against demi-gods and corrupts kings. One must find all of the pieces to re-forge it completely and bind their own aura to the blade.
Weapon Passive Abilities:
• Flower power [ B ] Glazadriel can absorb sunlight into its blade giving it's attacks a boost in power (+1 rank). The wielder must have the sword in direct contact with sunlight and must re-charge to gain the benefits for every ability. This passive will not work on artificial sunlight as it must be natural.
• Explosive edge [ B ] Glazadriel burns brightly like the sun, a powerful weapon only wielded by powerful templars. When the wielder returns the sword to their dominant hand, a bright light will explode outward sending a mini shock wave of light energy that dazzles the enemy and can blind anyone but the wielder nearby. When the user has alot of energy the shockwave can even blast anyone nearby off their feet if they are caught by surprise.
• Here is the church, here is the steeple, open the doors..... [ B ] To summon the blade initially, the wielder splays their hand toward any surface where a magic rune circle will appear. Glazadriel will fly out of the circle and will be caught by the wielder. This all happens in a flash and if the wielder is disarmed, Glazadriel can be returned to the wielder using the basic knight skill.
Weapon Activated Abilities:
• Ray of sunshine [ B ] The user swipes the blade, releasing an arc of concentrated light energy. The arc flies at high speeds in the direction f the swing flying through the air or along he ground. The arc can shatter through large boulders and dent steel. It deals minor burn damage to the target if it hits them directly
• House built on a rock [ A ] The wielder stabs the ground with the blade and a 10 meter diameter pillar of light engulfs the wielder and anyone within that area. This will do decent burn damage to anyone of an equal or lower rank to the wielder, sever burn damage and can cause temporary blinding to beings of dark magic or dark magic users and it will not effect fellow Templars.
• Solar reflection [ A ] The most intricate of abilities which made the blade famous within the Templar order. Glazadriel can form a second version of itself using light energy. In order to allow the user to wield both swords un-hindered, the second sword is slightly lighter than the original. The light sword will last for 4 posts before shattering or the wielder can fuel more energy extending the abilities active time.
• I Am One, One is All (passive): Using this passive skill, Reapers are able to instantly regenerate all of their energy once out of battle, this makes them ready for round two, if necessary.
• Every knight has the ability to ignore pain in battle, even ignoring the pain of severed limbs for a certain amount of time
• In Michael's Light, I Fear Nothing: As long as light bathes these warriors, either sunlight or light from their own skills, they cannot be wavered. They do not fall prey to passive effects such as Incubi or Succubi passives, or passives that make them expel more energy or any negative passive, really.
• I Am Faithful: When you start out, you already have the attention of an angel who can give you a mark, assuming that this mark comes from an angel loyal to Michael or Vangelism.
• +1 Rank in power against Dark creatures or beings that practice the dark arts.
• Fight With Me: Templars are capable of boosting their allies stats and energy output.
Sariel made his way through the crowded alleyways of the Underbelly. Everywhere, the poor were huddled in small group around dying fires. The sick were being forced out onto the streets and this was the only place they could find refuge. With no cure in sight, many had come to the dark corners of the city to die in solitude, away from the eyes of the world that had seemed to forsake them. Sariel himself had not come here to die with the plague, but to instead study it, in hopes that he could find a way to cure it, or at least ease the passing of those who were too far gone. Dressed as a Venetian Plague Doctor, covered head to toe in fabric and protective garb, Sariel made his way to the worst of the plague victims, scrapping off samples from the diseased into vials and plastic bags. It was on his fourth subject that he stopped for a moment.
The fourth subject was by far the worst case he had seen yet. Their entire body was covered in boils and skin lesions, with plagued liquid literally running out of the holes in their body. They could barely speak from the pain they were in, but they couldn't sleep due to it either. They were left in a state of permanent suffering until the disease would finally kill them. Sariel reached into his bag, not looking for anything in particular, but instead, he made a syringe filled with morphine appear in his hand. Carefully, he found a clean patch of skin and punched the needle into it, shooting the morphine into their arm. It would do nothing for the symptoms, but it would ease their passing into the next life. Even after they passed into a drug induced coma, Sariel remained, taking detailed notes of their vital signs, symptoms, and other general observations. Several hours passed before the subject finally died. Sariel looked around for a moment, to see if anyone would come forward to claim the body, but no one came. This poor creature had come to the Underbelly to die alone, with no one to care for them. Sariel reached into his knapsack again, pulling out a folding body bag that he placed the body inside of, zipping it shut as he hoisted it into the air and onto this shoulder.
The Plague Doctor made his way through the streets, body on his shoulder as he walked. He turned into a small building, securing the door behind him. With a wave of his hand, the empty room was filled with all manner of advanced surgical equipment and his plague doctor costume was replaced with full surgical gear and a face mask. He placed the body on the table, having made it's clothes disappear. He started by diagramming the body and all of its injuries and disfigurements. Next, he weighed the body and took measurements all over the body, from its height, to its waist size, right down to the length of all of its body parts. Finally, the time had come to cut into the body and see the effects that the plague was having on all of its victims. He made a small incision in the middle of the chest, down to the stomach. The room had already smelt of dead body, but now a putrid odor filled the air as Sariel pulled open the flap of skin. The internal organs of this particular person were all infected and seemed to have begun to decompose while they had still been alive. "What a hell of a way to die, rotting from the inside out while still alive. It seems that this isn't your garden variety plague. I may actually have to work on this one." Sariel turned to the body, not sure how to proceed at the moment. He could pull out the organs one by one and make detailed notes about them, or he could cut open the thigh muscle and see what effects the plague was having on muscular function. "Hmmm, so much to do, so little time." A camera appeared in his hand as he began to take more detailed observations of his dissection. He continued on the body, pulling out the stomach first, draining the contents into a large vial for later testing, before placing the stomach off to the side. He continued in this rhythmic fashion until the body was hollow. Next, he made a cut along the top of the skull, removing it so he could see the brain. Instead of being a normal pink fleshy color, it had turned black and appeared inflamed.
With his dissection complete, Sariel made the body and all of its useless parts disappear, and the room changed from an autopsy room to a scientific laboratory. He placed several samples into a freezer and took a sample of the blood, heating it up over a small burner to boil it. He pulled out another sample, placing it in a small centrifuge to separate out the individual compounds within the blood, and with another sample, he placed a small drop on a slide and began to observe it under a microscope. The plague seemed to actually be a combination of several different viruses that all attacked different things. One broke down blood cells while another seemed to attack the nervous system, and yet another caused painful lesions and boils with a crippling fever that killed. But something seemed odd. It didn't seem a natural virus. Any one of these was deadly on their own, but they didn't seem to work together. This disease was a super-virus. It seemed more likely that it was made, and not just a mutation. "It would seem that something sinister is at play here. Perhaps I should do a little bit more research before I make a final decision to get involved on this one." Sariel stood up, content to let his experiment continue running as he went to bring the joy of medically induced comas to more poor souls. As he neared the door, his clothes reverted back to his plague doctor costume, and once more, he returned to the dark streets of the Underbelly.

With her arms close to her, Alassea strode slowly through the streets of the underbelly, taking in the sight before her; dozens of infected, suffering, dying victims before her. She didn't have nearly enough energy to save them all--or rather, to even save them at all--but she'd be damned if she didn't try. Picking a small child to start, the Dawn Elf leaned down next to the young man, offering him a small moment of solace as she gathered energy into the palm of her hand. An arrow of striking, blue light would take shape as she inserted it into the boy. "Be at peace. Soon, we'll find a way to fix all this madness. You won't have to suffer for long." A warm smile accompanied her soothing words, the boy's body relaxing into her arms as he went limp. At first...she thought it was just his body relaxing from all the spasms. But after a brief spell of time passed, she suspected something else. Alassea placed her fingertips on the boy's neck, and found what she'd feared; she was too late, and the boy was about to die when she'd come to his aid. What she held in her arms was nothing more than a corpse. The corpse of a life that could have been. A life that could have saved millions of others.
Maybe they would have become a doctor. A saint, a warrior or a savior. In truth, what they became didn't really matter. This young man's life had value, and what they lost today was a piece of the future. A future she intended to help along until her last day. She laid a flower upon the young boy's chest, laying him onto the ground as she continued her work, a new fire kindled within her. The Dawn Elf moved quickly from patient to patient, giving them water, solace, and kindness to help ease their suffering. Obviously, a disease of this caliber was beyond her abilities, but that didn't mean she was excused from doing anything she could. Slowly, but surely, the young elf would make her way through the crowds, giving what little aid she could to alleviate the suffering of these victims, even if it were only for minutes at a time.
That young boy wasn't the first death of the day, and he was far from the last. But she'd be damned if she didn't make this easier for them. After all...if you keep your face towards the light, the shadows will always fall behind you.
Sariel watched with mild interest as a someone else appeared in the Underbelly who clearly didn't belong there. She was young looking, and an elf if he wasn't mistaken. Sariel sat at the end of the street, watching as she tried in vain to save a young man's life with her magic. Her magic pulsed through his body, giving him a moment of solace before he died in her arms. As she placed a rose on his chest, Sariel stood up and straightened his outfit, approaching her. "There's nothing you could have done for him other than ease his passing." Sariel created a black sheet in his hands, laying it over the body. Eventually a cart would make its way down the street to collect the day's dead. As he stood to speak to Alassea, he would begin giving off a gentle aura that seemed to brighten up the street for a brief moment and the noise of the crowded district would seem to wash away as he spoke. "Allow me to introduce myself. You can call me Sariel. I guess I'm the resident Plague Doctor for this portion of the city, although I regret to say I've made very little progress on curing anything." The noise of the street would slowly resume as he motioned for her to walk with him as he made his way past her. "This plague seems to defy the standard mold for death and diseases. Most plagues kill in one singular way, while this one can kill you in at least four different ways. In all my time, I have never seen anything like this." Sariel stopped for a moment, leaning down near a small boy who was having a coughing fit. He reached into his bag, pulling out a small needle. He lifted the boys frail arm, gently sliding the needle into his arm. A blanket would appear around the boy's shoulders. "Something for the pain and a gift against the cold." He turned to Alassea, raising a hand as if to speak more before thinking better of it, instead shaking his head and laughing to himself for a moment. "Ah, where are my manners? I am predisposed to ramble. Who might you be? A brave adventurer here to solve the mystery of the plague I assume."

In all her time, Alassea had rarely been at a loss for words when it came to the people she interacted with. However, the arrival of this...strange fellow had left her drawing blanks for a brief moment. 'Nothing I could have done? That's an awful thing to say right about now...how could he be saying this with such confidence, like we aren't obliged to try and save these people?' Her thoughts shifted quickly, trying to decide whether to hate the man or to try understanding him. The Elf had learned from a very young age that conflict rose when two sides didn't try to understand each other, at the very least. Their separate goals, their passions and desires, almost always drove one side to kill the other, and that many of the great conflicts that plagued Axiom stemmed from this one, linear, and rather simple idea. "Say what you will about the dead; I'll use everything I have, even if I only save one life at the end of the day. These people--no, the future--they're all worth it. No life can be wasted if we can save them instead." A fierce determination backed her words, one that would likely speak oceans to the Pagan of her stubbornness in this regard; no matter what Sariel said, it was likely he wouldn't be able to convince her otherwise. Regardless of the words he'd spoken, this man appeared to want to ease the suffering of those around, at the very least. When he beckoned for her to follow, Alassea did so, more out of curiosity than anything else.
He spoke of the plague, and the effects it was having on the people. It appeared that the plague itself was indeed a very concentrated disease, to be able to kill in multitudes of ways. Something like that would prove incredibly difficult to treat, especially without one solid cause of death. During her time learning with the elven sages of Kranila, Alassea had learned that diseases came with multiple symptoms, each of them varying in intensity. However, even for diseases most severe, they normally had only one fatal ending. Whether it be a rupturing of the lungs, a weakening of the immune system, or even internal bleeding. The idea of a singular disease carrying four different end diagnoses was outrageous. "I find it highly unlikely that a disease has at least four different ways of killing. You'll have to be more specific on exactly what these end diagnoses are before I even start to believe you on that end." She was--of course--slightly vindictive at the moment. Just a short while ago, this very same man had been telling her that all her efforts were in vain, that she couldn't save them, only ease their passing.
Alassea Eruaphadion was most definitely not the kind of woman to take that kind of ultimatum sitting down. "My name is Alassea. I'm here to do everything I can for the suffering...even if you're right. Even if I can't save them, I have to do something."
Sariel stopped moving as Alassea spoke to him. It seemed that she had taken the wrong meaning from all of his words earlier and was offended for some reason. It seemed that she had taken his earlier words as some form of discouragement. "It's a noble goal to want to help the sick, all I meant when I said it was useless was that there was no reason to attempt healing without first knowing what was actually wrong." Sariel made his way up a short set of stairs, pushing open the door to the building that housed his laboratory. Many of the machines along the wall had finished running a full gambit of tests on the samples from the body he had retrieved earlier. "Welcome to my lab, where I attempt to save the world one blood sample at a time."
He took off his mask and coat, throwing them into a pile near the front door, taking a lab apron from the wall. "Now, where there is a school of thought that teaches us magic is a one size fits all cure, I am of a different mind set. Through science, we can isolate the specific causes and treat them, rather than using the symptoms to tell us what to treat." He motioned for Alassea to take an apron and follow him further into the building. Several rooms sat vacant and in the final room, a row of computers sat silently humming. Rows of data streamed across them, eventually printing out onto sheets of paper that covered the room. "Unfortunately, I've hit a dead end. The plague has the symptoms of TB, the Bubonic Plague, and Influenza to make a short list." Sariel collapsed into a chair, letting out a sigh as he motioned for Alassea to make herself at home. The room was covered with junk but there were still a few places to sit.
