Shun finished off his biscuit, then closed his eyes. Rubbing his temples he soon shook his head.
"That food could have been eaten. Instead it was thrown at people and to the ground. That's wasted," he argued before letting out a sigh, "I don't... need your charity. I've enlisted now. Once they have me set up I should be fine as far as food goes. I doubt the military starves their soldiers."
"I don't understand why you'd offer anyway."

"'Cause we're friends," Danny mentioned casually. "Friends help friends!"
She looked to another person who'd bought something at the booth. "Hey isn't that the flower guy?"

Rikki's attention was dragged away from the two's discussion and to another familiar face. "Oh, hey it is. Elliot!" He called, waving a hand in the air to call his attention over.

"I don't..."
Shun sighed and just ate one of the cookies he had. She certainly was a persistent one to say in the very least.
"Why do you insist on being my friend?" he asked before glancing over to spot a head of pink hair at the mention of 'flower guy', "...yes that is Elliot for certain."

With his goods paid for and in his arms, the boy turned to leave, only to perk up upon hearing someone call his name. Turning to glance over his shoulder, he lift his brows as he realized that the trio had spotted him. Well...wouldn't hurt to linger a little longer to say hi.
"Hey," He greeted, approaching the little group and coming to a stop in front of them, "Buying some baked goods too, are we?"
He still found it rather amusing to see the company Shun kept. The excitable girl seemed to be pretty sweet, though she definitely was loud--not someone he thought the ordinarily-quiet man would hang out with but hell, what did he know? Rikki, though, he knew to be pretty cool (clearly not biased in any way by the fact he let him play with his hair).

Having spent half the day getting dunked in the tank, he finally had left his own booth for just a bit. Earlier, Elliot had mentioned food, and while he wasn't sure if he'd run into the other boy his stomach would not go ignored. Even if he'd had dinner, stopping by the little familiar location sounded fine enough. It was getting late, and Ashley needed to get back home. So after double promising to bring the child home something, Alec had changed into his regular clothing and gone to the local Bakery's direction. It wasn't enough he knew almost every street and side corner, the smell is what attached his attention. As it was rather busy, several faces he recognized were about talking among themselves. Alec did spy the familiar pink haired boy, but he was part those talking and didn't want to fuss him. Shun, Rikki and Danny were also close by he realized knowing them on site by now after everything had transpired in the days passed. Alec slipped in once he had a chance, waiting patiently for his turn. Thank the Walls they had pictures at this booth. Numbers were easier than words for him, so usually he could be trusted to count properly. Trying to read the menu would have caused everyone a headache Alec was sure. Squinting at the words, he instead scanned over the list quickly before riffling in his pockets. "Hi there!" Alec greeted once the girl was ready for him to make his request. "I'll take two...no sorry four," He eye'd the picture knowing well enough what they were, just not their name off hand and lightly tapping a finger to the item Savory Meat Rolls. "of those. Um also two batch of 5 chocolate chip cookies." This at least he could say without guessing, he knew well enough what they were. "That should be 4...wait, 6 copper marks I think?" He frowned, pushing around the coin for a moment, and looking at the numbers unsure of himself. Once this was settled, he'd likely eat the meat rolls and take at least half the cookies back home.

"Ah. 'xcuse me for one sec." He had turned to see Alec, immediately remembering the offer he had made the other boy. Setting his package of purchased goods in Rikki's arms, he gestured towards it, looking between Rikki, Danny, and Shun. "I bought four ginger snap cookies. You guys can feel free to help yourself to one if you want."
Rooting through his pockets again, he pulled out his coins, counting them out on the palm of his hand before abruptly taking the small handful, taking Alec's other hand--the one that was free from his own money--and dropping them into his palm.
"Here, as promised. A reward for having to sit there and letting people dunk you constantly, and an apology for having dunked you twice in a row." His voice was flat, but the corners of his lips may have been twitching.

He might not have known Elliot for a long time, but he could see the older boy fighting his deadpan look. The corners of his lips twitching in what might have been a smile. "Hmmm. Yes, you got me twice in a row, then missed." Alec replied amusement in his voice. Leaving out his knee, it hadn't been bad enough to cause him to limp or anything thankfully anyway. "But thanks Elliot..really, you didn't have too." he mumbled gratefully. His palm that had been pressed the coin was given a considering look, then back to the other boy. "Just glad people had fun." Alec mumbled a bit, pushing his previously coin laden hand back into his pocket, squeezing his grip around the coin Elliot had given him. "You like chocolate chip?" He offered first to Elliot, seeing as he'd paid then also glanced at the others 3 gathered briefly as if inviting them over if they wanted. Alec had bought enough cookies that if Rikki, Danny, and Shun wanted they could each have one (if they wished.) They only had to wait for him to properly pay off his order, and be handed the items in question.

Elliot fold his arms over his chest, staring down at the short boy with a raised brow. "Are you telling me you want me to swing back and get you dunked into the water three times in a row? Because I might just be able to do that." He wasn't serious, don't worry--...probably not, anyways. One would just have to wait and see.
"Nah, don't mention it," He shrugged, setting a hand on Alec's head and ruffling his hair, "And really, it's cool. I bought some ginger snap cookies myself, and a couple of tarts. It was kind of hard to pick, honestly."
He may have had a bit of a sweet tooth--just a bit. To be fair, half of his purchases were going to Bas though, so it wasn't as if he was going to eat everything he bought by himself.
...But he could if he really wanted to.

Brianna grinned as she wrapped the hot meat rolls and set the wrapped cookies on top of them so they could get all warmed-up and melty. She was getting faster at this. "Yep, six copper marks. Here you go, enjoy!" The redhead passed the stack over the display with a bright grin, ready to take the coins in return.

Nodding, silently glad he'd actually counted right he pressed the coin into her hand and once that was done, took the wrapped packages. "Thank you so much!" he answered the girl. He'd been by their families Bakery so many times over the last few years, Alec reasoned he'd have to introduce himself the next chance he got. Carefully pulling out first a cookie for Elliot then himself, Alec peered up at the taller boy as he spoke. Alec gave him a suspicious look, the taller boy with his crossed arms stared down at him. "Hmm. I dunno. I'm sure you'll have the chance in the days too come heh." Likely. Alec was sure he'd see more jump at the chance to make him flounder in the water. Only time would tell. His thoughts were broken, with a small laugh, closing one eye as the other ruffled his hair. If Elliot had been some one else, he might have batted at the hand. The flower shop boy wasn't trying to be mocking, nor insulting so Alec quietly accepted the action. "Mm, I might come back another time then. Those sound good too." Once his offering had been accepted by the other, he began nibbling at his own cookie.

"'Cause I like you," Danny said plainly, "And 'cause we're getting married." Teasing was probably why she wanted to be his friend so badly. "Rikki, will you be our best man~?"
Then another boy came by, bringing more and more people with him. "I bought a lot of things!!" She noticed one particular baked good in Elliot's arms that she did not possess. "Hey! Where'd you get that!"

Rikki went a bit sparkly eyed as he was handed the cookies. He took two of them, because clearly he was Elliot's favorite, before handing the rest over to Shun and Danny. He paled a bit when Danny brought up the marriage again but put on a good natured smile.
"If you can keep him in one place long enough to get a ring on him, I'll be your best man."

Shun hesitantly took a cookie from Elliot before looking at the group with furrowed brows, "Thank you..." he mumbled while shifting a bit. Though his expression hardened as Danny opened her mouth.. yet again. And brought up the damn marriage thing.
He closed his eyes for a few moments, then turned to face her more directly.
"Let me set this straight. And hopefully it'll get through that thick skull of yours. You are not my friend. I am not your friend. I do not like you. I would sooner marry a ******** titan than marry you. I am grateful that you've fed me and even offered to help keep me fed but that does not make up for how bloody aggravating you are. You don't ******** respect my personal space or leave me alone when I tell you to. So just cut this s**t out already before my patience breaks even further and I start strangling you."
Shun let out a breath, then stood up from the bench. He still had the cookies in hand, but he no longer really had much of an appetite for now.

"Oh--thanks," Taking the offered cookie from Alec, the semblance of an actual smile tugged on his lips as he took a bite. Nothing like a nice, fresh cookie, mmm. "And yeah, I know what you mean--I think I'm going to have to drop by to buy some more stuff too. It was hard not to just buy one of everything..." But not too hard. He had to consider his wallet as well, after all.
Shaking his head, he turned to look at Danny, lifting his brows at her questioningly. It wasn't until he realized what it was she was asking about that he let out a little "ah", jerking his thumb in the direction of the little cakes. "It's that one right there. You should pick some up if you want--it looks pretty good."
There was a chance the boy would have said more had it not been for the explosion that then occurred. Freezing with his cookie halfway to his lips, the pink-haired boy watched blankly as Shun's patience finally snapped.
