"Yesterday something truly unexpected took place. Lady Rosa became an adult! Poor little Muris thought it was something she had done, and was in tears when I arrived. I was glad that I came across them when I did. It was an amazing sight! I wasn't able to see the full transformation seeing as how I got there just as she had undergone the change. Nonetheless I was glad that I was there. Eventually, after Lady Rosa calmed her down so to speak, Muris seemed to feel a bit better. However, now I think she is a bit hesitant to grow up. I hope that the little girl doesn't go through too much pain, since I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Later, Lady Filix showed up and she seemed to be rather jealous, or angry at Lady Rosa's transformation. One could only imagine all the possibilites of why she could be acting this way towards her own sister. Perhaps it is because she now is the younger out of the two once again even though she is the oldest in reality. That explanation works for now I suppose, but I'm sure there is a number of reasons that could cause her to be like this. Muris seemed a bit distressed when she found the two 'fighting' as she put it. After Lady Filix left, both Muris and I helped Lady Rosa back to her chambers to make sure she made it there all right. I sincerely hope that she is doing better after a nights rest.

Then today...something horrible happened. Even worse than the accident that took place a few nights before with Lady Xannyia and the books. I had been walking in the gardens, when I heard other voices. Naturally, I walked that way to see who it was. It just so happened that a few other Fey had gathered there. All of which were girls. There was no male fey to be seen...even though I looked. By then, they would have seen me, and I didn't want to be rude.

I got to finally meet Pappila. She is a sweet little thing. Already learning how to read and speak, even at such a young age. Apparently, she knows a bit of elvish. Lady Eirnae seems to be very proud of her, and she should be. She seems like a smart little one. Muris was also there, and she seemed rather happy to see me and sat on my lap most of the time as we sat around and talked. Lady Eirnae brought up an interesting thought, so I asked Lady Xannyia whether or not she was part elvish. This was the reply I got, "....Not that I know of." So, I wonder if perhaps somewhere within her ancestral line there is an elf or two. She didn't seem interested in hearing the theory, so I just summed it up for her, and she said it was a possibility.

While we were talking about magic, I told them of my problem, and they reassured me that it was probably going to be okay, and it most likely will be. When I saw Lady Xannyia tonight, she didn't seem at all mad or anything of the sort. And that, I am thankful for. Muris had already left, since she had forgotten to do something with the horses and Pappila wanted to see magic. So, Lady Filix was showing her a few spells...and this is where the horribly embarrassing thing comes. I was sitting there, watching, waiting for the second spell, when I realized that she was trying to lift my tunic up! The nerve of that....GIRL! I would have never thought that Lady Filix would have done such a horrible thing to anyone! I don't know whether to be furious with her...or just mad. From now on I will have to be especially careful around her and make sure she isn't trying to do such an evil thing again! I don't know what I will do if she tries to do such a thing again.

For now, I just won't tell anyone, and try to forget about this. I'll just try and imagine that this has never happened, and just hope that this never happens again, as well as hope that no one that was there will ever mention anything about this at all...ever!"

"A lot has taken place throughout these last few days. Only a day or so after Lady Rosa's transformation into an adult Lady Filix underwent the same thing. Although, no one else but me was there this time. I had been planning to ignore her after what she had done to me a few days before...but I don't like to see people in pain, so I decided to put that aside and help the changing Fey instead. Luckily, I had had a handkerchief with me, since I had just been on my way back to my own chambers from the stables when this happened. That was apparently a good thing, because Lady Filix had begun to cry due to the amount of pain she had just undergone.

Much has changed about her, just as it did for Lady Rosa, yet...Lady Filix asked me exactly what had changed. I could have said quite a number of things, but instead, I went with 'a lot.' It was the easiest and probably one of the more politer things I had thought of. I didn't wish to embarass her or anything of the sort, and she would have found out soon enough for herself. Unless she already knew and was just trying to cause me to become more embarrassed! I hadn't thought about that up until now... I wonder if she could have just been doing that to be cruel. No, she couldn't have, after all, shortly after all of this; even though she was still shaky and exhausted from the transformation she apolagized to me for doing her little 'magic trick' earlier. That was when I told her to just never talk about it, ever again; and I truly hope she doesn't.

Earlier today, I finished baking cookies with Muri. I had come across her in the kitchen, and I hadn't planned to stay and help, but they were after all, chocolate chip cookies. For a four year old, she certainly knows a great deal about cooking. She taught me a few things, and I think she taught her Kithain a few things as well. It didn't seem as though Lady Shiaree was that much of a cook. Just like Lady Xannyia who doesn't like to cook, and isn't that good at it either. While there, I remembered to give Muri the stuffed horse toy I had gotten for her, as well as the lantern that Lady Xannyia had chosen out for her to thank her for helping me with her horse. The first batch of cookies didn't turn out at all...they burned in the oven leaving a very unpleasent smell in the kitchen for quite sometime afterwards.

However, the second batch of cookies made from 'scratch' as she called it, turned out wonderful! She was very sweet, and allowed me to take more than her since she knew I was hungry, and that I like cookies a great deal. I had meant to save some for Lady Xannyia, but that didn't happen. I ended up eating them all over a period of two or three hours. I couldn't help it. They were so good!

Later: Later this evening, while I was out in the gardens I too found out what it was like to suddenly become an adult. The pain was a great deal worse than the other two transformations, and afterwards, it felt even stranger then it had when I had become a teenager. I have become the Court Herald, and will do my best to serve my cousin well. I have a feeling things will take sometime for me to adjust to all of this. Most of the other Fey were there, and Muri seemed to be quite sad. I hope she doesn't stay sad for long, the poor girl. She should be happy, and not so scared of transforming. I really do hope that she doesn't have to endure much pain. Lady Rosa seemed to get mad at me, and I'm not sure why. One moment, she was happy, the next, she wasn't? Women are so confusing, I don't think I could ever understand them if I tried. It made me quite sad to hear that she did not consider me to be her friend. Perhaps I shouldn't think of her as a friend anymore if she does not think of me as her friend. Lady Rosa might have been just having another one of her confusing mood swings, or whatever you might like to call it. Either way, it is hard for me to figure out what she will act like, she is very unpredictable, at least in my opinion. For now, I must stop thinking of this, for I am still quite weary from the change, and it is best if I get rest so I will be fine in the morning."

"As usual, much has happened since I have last written in this journal. Being an adult is certainly different. Much has changed, yet at the same time, not much has. It all seems rather confusing at times, so I try to avoid thinking about it; which is why, I will stop writing about this as well...

I have met up with both of the Countesses numerous times, as well as Muri and even Herbalist Ursa and Aide Aesculus for a brief time. Countess Rosa has seemed to get over whatever had gotten into her, and treats me as though we are friends again, at least I think. I suppose with her, no one can ever truly be sure what's going through her mind at most times, if ever.

I went on a horse ride with Muris, so she could ride the horse she had her eye on to make sure it is the right one for her, and in my opinion it seemed as though she was. However, who am I to say that? I hardly know a thing about horses. All I know about them has been taught to me by Muri. ((More to come when RP is finished))

I have gotten gifts for each of the Fey, well, all but Equus, I'm still finding the perfect gift for him. I'm trying to find another set of swords possibly, or something to do with weaponry. I haven't seen him in a while, and I hope to sometime in the near future. All of the others have been given out already, and I hope they all like them!

Also, I underwent something that could very well be considered torture. Lady Xannyia took me to go see Lady Ahnna, to give her some sort of toy called an 'R.C. Car'. What a horrible experience, I hope nothing like that ever happens to me again. Lady Ahnna got this crazy idea stuck in her head, and I was dragged off to some large store with Countess Rosa and Lady Xannyia did nothing to stop it! Not to mention I was almost killed!((And again, more will come when the RP is finished))

Earlier this evening, I ran into Countess Rosa just outside of the tower while her Kithain and her brother were...fighting. When Countess Filix showed up Rosa suddenly started dancing with me due to being happy or something along those lines. That just proves my theory that women are confusing. Soon Countess Filix had to leave, and after Bastian 'attacked' Countess Rosa, and I had stabbed him with my antlers (And cleaned the blood of off them. My poor antlers...) we returned to Tir Nan Og for the night. It turns out both of us had gifts to give one another. I gave her the 'Sake Set' I had gotten her, and she gave me a small little insect she named Bugsie, and a lantern. I think she was just trying to get rid of it due to it not going with the theme of her room. To tell you the truth, it doesn't exactly go with mine either, but of course I made sure to act as though I liked the gift. After all, it shouldn't matter whether or not it goes with the 'theme' of my room, as long as the gift is something that was gotten with me in mind.

It isn't exactly a bad gift after all. Not many of the gifts I get do go with my room, but that doesn't really matter much to me. Eventually, I'll have so many different things they will all go with my room! Lady Xannyia always says 'It's the thought that counts' and she couldn't be more right. Each of the gifts I have been given so far are wonderful and even though some don't 'match' my room that shouldn't really matter. I even cleared off a few of the shelves in my room since I don't have that many books to keep all of them together, and so they have a special place to go. I must say, once I was done getting them all set up it looks wonderful. In fact, that has to be the favorite corner of my room now. Of course, I don't keep the pets I've been given up there. Well, except the cricket and The Drop... since they don't get around much.

Near the end of my time with the Countess, just before I was about to leave, she began to act strange. I can't quite figure out why, or what it was she seemed like. Nervous maybe, or perhaps even angry with me but trying not to show it? Whatever it was, that proves my theory even more! There's always the possibly she wasn't feeling well? I may never know, but that's all right. If that was the case, I hope she is feeling better."

Muris, having finally located Alces' chambers via many many attempts, set the gift she had picked out for him on their shopping trip down, along with a note...that's nearly illegible, but still, you can make out a little bit. She obviously had Shiaree spell the words for her.

Alcie,
Thank you for your gifts! Here is one for you!

*Lilium strolled down the corridor towards Alces' chamber door. Alces has been so nice to her and she felt compelled to return the favor. So today she had Washu take her to the store the other fey had visted to buy gifts* I do hope he likes it. I suppose I should get to know them better to know what they like. *she sighs and places the gift at his door along with a note which she leans against the bamboo*

Dear Alces,

I really appreciate how nice you've been to me and the wonderful lantern you gave me. I am just sorry I haven't really gotten to know you well. This gift is a token of my appreciation. I hope you like it. It is supposed to bring you luck. At least thats what I was told. I hope it works.

"A while back, when I returned to my chambers I found two gifts waiting for me. The first was a beautiful Pagoda, and it went perfectly with my little corner of gifts. When Lady Xannyia came to visit me she laughed and told me I was going to have enough of those types of things to make my own little 'zen garden'. That was from Muri, and I'm going to have to thank her for that later. The second gifts was from noneother than the Queen herself; or rather, the Queen-to-be. That was very kind of her to; she didn't have to. I was glad to see that she liked the lantern that I had given her. Her gift was yet another thing I could add to my little stash of 'zen stuff' as Lady Xannyia puts it. It was a beautiful Bamboo plant, one very similiar to the one that I purchased for Ursa. I was quite glad, seeing as how I had become rather attatched to the one I gave to Ursa and was beginning to miss it; but now, thankfully I have my own thanks to Queen Lilium.

Lady Pappila became a teen within the time I have not written. She is quite beautiful indeed. Although from what I hear, most magic users are. Well, at least the women, I'm not sure about Sorcerers and Wizards. I had arrived at the library just after it happened, and was asked by Aesculus to carry her over to a chair; after all, we were the gentlmen in the room and it was our job. I vaguely remember him telling me that once before, but I'm afraid I can't remember when. He is correct in saying that though. Lady Rosa had come into the library as well, and I am not sure how, but she seemed to make Aesculus angry. Honestly I don't know what she did to trigger it, but I wasn't paying attention during the first part, nor was I able to hear all of it due to tending to Pappila's needs. Whatever happened between them, I hope it is fixed soon. I don't enjoy two of my friends arguing.

As for the recent events; I was walking through the courtyard and I came across Herbalist Ursa. Such a sweet little girl. We spoke for a very short while because I had to excuse myself I'm afraid. I had had other matters to attend to. While talking, she gave me a small little red cupcake. That was very kind of her, so of course, I thanked her. Later, when I arrived back at my chambers I was sure to eat the cupcake and it was delicious!"

"Lady Xannyia's newest addition to her family, Sarria, as I believe she is called, tried to force me to watch some strange movies while I was there. I had been resting after the trip over from the Fairy Ring. Flying can be quite exhausting at times. She came up, and simply picked me up off of the pillow I was sleeping on. Me, of course, having been asleep a few moments before wasn't aware of what was happening to me. Before I could open my eyes, I found myself on another pillow on the couch. The little girl refused to let me go and kept shaking me whenever my eyes closed. Only when that horrible movie from "Bollywood" was over did she let me go. I was quite relieved to learn that Lady Xannyia took the movies back the very next day. I can only imagine what that poor woman had to go through.

The reason for me being in Gaia was an awards ceremony for the winners of Lady Sajhiri's contest! Lady Xannyia didn't win either of the grand prizes, but she did win one of the others! While there, I saw a few people I hadn't met before, Lady Ahnna, Countess Rosa, Lady Shiaree, and Muri! It was quite fun, but sadly Lady Xannyia had somewhere to be so we weren't able to stay the whole time to celebrate Lady Sajhiri's birthday. Lady Rosa had left by then anyway, which was a shame. I hadn't seen her in a while and hoped we could spend more time with one another. The same goes for Muri, but pehaps I'll run into either one of them shortly.

After spending a day or two there I returned here to Tir Nan Og. Other than the first two things I have mentioned, not much has happened recently. Recently I have kept to myself...surprisingly. Lately I've been reading a few books I brought back with me from Lady Xannyia's and practicing a few magic tricks that I've picked up now that I'm an adult. Hopefully I'll run into another Fey soon, and catch up on how they have been doing. It will be nice to see another of my kind."

"Not much has happened within the past few days. Although what has, is rather big in itself. Muri has grown up into a...very beautiful young woman if I do say so myself. I learned of this while in the library, putting back a book I had just finished. She also showed up in the library and greeted me. The first few moments were most disconcerting. I wasn't sure whether or not I should continue to call her by the nickname she used as a little child, or by her proper title. Muris was sure to tell me from the beginning that she wished for me to continue using the nickname. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I can do that.

She has grown up now, and that might be quite inappropriate. However, I suppose I shall do what she wishes. Besides, I think it made her sad when I didn't refer to her as 'Muri.' And I definately would not want to make her sad. Throughout our short meeting, she asked me whether or not I liked her anymore, and I was sure to tell her I did. How could I not? Later during out little encounter, we read for a while, while she rested from the transformation before going out to tend to the horses. I don't see how she could have. After all, she was still tired, so I refused to let her go alone and helped her with the task so she could rest sooner.

I also ran into Lady Ursa and Countess Rosa. Both of them were together, and I think Lady Ursa had just arrived at the Countesses door around the same time I did. Not wantint to intrude on them, I acted as though I was simply walking by, but they still called me in. It was quite an ...interesting conversation they were having. Lady Ursa didn't seem to like Countess Rosa very much from what I gathered, and the tension made me a bit uncomfortable, so I got out of there while I still could. I'm not sure why Lady Ursa isn't very fond of the Countess. From what I understood, it had something to do with dear Aesculus. Whether or not they were fighting over him, or disagreeing on how he was either nice or mean, or some other thing that only a woman could understand, I'm not sure. Although I do hope they manage to work it out, because there is no reason for Lady Ursa to hate Rosa if the Countess has done nothing to her...yet. Or has she? I need to stop dwelling on this...and there is nothing better to get my mind off of that than a good book. My Kithain has gotten me a book on famous Heralds in her world, so I think that should be quite interesting.

Session Plot: Rosa pays Alces a visit.

Participants: Rosa and Alces

Laying amongst his many strange pets that he had seemed to 'collect,' the man was staring up at the ceiling. He was enjoying lazing about and doing nothing but staring. Every once in a while he would move one of his hands to give either one of the two cat-like creatures a pat on the head when they meowed.

At the moment, he didn't have much on his mind and once or twice his eyes even drifted shut for briefly. The nice warm glow from the setting sun didn't help him stay awake either, nor the warmth of the room. The only thing, or things, keeping him awake, even if it was only partially, was the constant jumping of the strange cat-like thing on the bed as it chased the drop thing around.

Down the halls, in the direction of her greatness, the all-knowing Countess' 'royal' chambers, the girlish squabble of two women could just barely be picked up.

"Shut up, Rosa! I don't know what your th-"

"Oh this is such a lovely pasttime, dear. Now I know why drunks drink so often."

"Are you pretending to be drunk?"

"Of course not! No respectable woman of my stature would ever do such a thing. None the less pretend to do such a thing. I am merely letting myself be happy. I have been brooding the past few days, you know."

"Oh. I didnt know." The human retort came, in a sacastic tone. Only a few moments passed until the two voices made it outside of Alces' door, where a very low 'Shhh!' might of just been able to reach Alces' ears, had he been listening. It was followed by, "Why do Ineed to be quiet? Your going to knock in about three seconds so why the-" "I SAID SHH! CANT YOU LISTEN AND BE OBEDIENT FOR ONCE!?" The countess snapped. Her attempt at being coy, waisted, as she gave an annoyed and abrupt knock on the poor Herald's door.

The man's eyes shot open as he heard the knock at his door. Sitting up quickly, Alces looked around to make sure his place was presentable. Lucky for him, it was. He picked up the strange drop thing that was currently on his lap, hiding for its life, to place it up on it's shelf next to the cricket. He then shooed the cats from his bed over to their corner of the room where their bed made of blankets was located.

"Coming." He called out to whoever was on the otherside of the door as he quickly smoothed out the covers on his bed and rushed past the mirror on his wall near the door before opening it. "Hello..." he started as he took a step forward and finished opening it to see who it was, "Countess Rosa, Lady Ahnna." He finished when he saw them. "Is there something I can do for you?"

The young human lass couldent help but crack an amused smile and snort to herself. "Oh, so formal, looks like her liege does infact strike fear into the hearts of men. Well. I had my suspicions." She nodded to herself with her arms crossed comfortably in the small of her back, while she looked Alces over. "Your Xannie's little twit, aint'ya? You sure have grown since the last time I saw you in your 'big' size. Last time I remember you were lookin' about thirteen or so and I-"

"Really, Ahnna, you are such unpleasant company sometimes. Do forgive me for being blunt, but, please be silent." Rosa cut the other off, with an annoyed passing of glances as she came to grin at Alces. "Busy?" She asked with a catlike expression, hiding something of her own behind her back.

Alces was giving Ahnna quite a blank stare as she 'rambled' on about various things. He now began to wonder if being formal had been a bad thing...He stopped himself from thinking such things and began to smile at the two of them. Although, when he looked at Ahnna his smile became noticably smaller and forced. "It is good to see your Kithain is doing...well." He commented as he turned his attention back to Rosa and opened the door wider.

"No, no, not at all. Would you tw--" He glanced at Ahnna again, deciding it wouldn't be polite if he didn't let her in too, "Would you two like to come in?" He made a gesture with his arm toward one side of his room, "There are a few chairs over there."
PostPosted: Mon Oct 25, 2004 1:58 am

Rosa smiled, and stepped in, running her hand comfortably an inch or so down Alces' shoulder in a friendly pat of sorts as she stepped past him and looked around. Whatever she had behind her back was now gone, or so it would seem. Ahnna had been returning the stare to the fey, and had come in the room in a much more barbaric fashion shortly after her fey had.

"You have a very nice... large.. room." Rosa said outloud, looking around.

"Bigger then yours." Ahnna pointed out with an amused snort. "Your liege."

Rosa blinked, "I know!" She whispered in an indignant manner to herself before she shook her head quickly and turned around, "I mean..err.. didnt I tell you to be silent, Ahnna? I am going to try my very hardest not to be rude here.."

"Oh, dont try that hard darlin.' Wouldent want to take you to the hospital or something, havent a clue what politeness would do to your nervous syste-"

"Is that all?" The countess cut off, yet again, in a bit of a growl that inevitably did.. shut the other up.

As he moved to shut the door behind the two of them, he watched them curiously and eyed his room, "Yes, I suppose I do." He agreed and shook his head at the little 'verbal fight' that went on between Rosa and Ahnna.

"Here, you two can come sit over here if you like." he motioned to the chairs again and began walking over to push one of the cats off of one of them. Shooing the cat back to its corner once again he smiled at the two of them again and patted the backs of two of the chairs
