Roland stuck to his words. They where bad people, but they had good intentions. Case in point he found the ice cream, he brought the ice cream. And everything was mostly okay.
When he had come back around the corner there was a brief moment of 'oh s**t' because she looked even more likely to cry. Like, ready to burst into tears t-minus 5 and counting 4... 3... 2... oh hey ice cream? Yup that was ice cream.
Suddnly Shu was jumping at him, almost tackling him in what seemed to be a hug followed by a kiss on the cheek. Just as quick as it started Shu was gone like a small cat prancing away with the ice cream while Roland stood there very confused.
"H-hey you h-have to share Shu!"

Shu didn't notice what she did to Poor Roland, she was too happy for the treasure she just obtained. Anyway, she never learn about distance if you don't state that out seriously. She turned around with the ice-cream high up, Roland definitely saved himself from a big possible trouble and she already forgot how sad she was just a few minutes ago. At his suggestion of sharing, the super cheerful girl looked at him with a smile and then a big mischievous grin. "If you can catch me?"  Then, she started to run inside the caferteria, twisted through the crowd and chairs, giggling.

Everything was mostly okay. Shu seemed far happier, Roland was still red as a firetruck. But everything was mostly okay. Melt downs where the worst and in public even more so.
For a moment he stared at her a blank look on his face as the blush faded, "Catch you? Hey that's not fair and you know it Shu!"
Huffing he started to run after her, where Shu weaved through the crowd Roland took a more... direct approach. He ran for the first table, there was a spot between a few hunters. "Excuse me!" He vaulted over the table trying to cut Shu off, "Come here you!"

She was in a good mood for a chasing game, and Roland was the unlucky guest. The smaller body made her easily to dodge the obstacles on her way and she just needed to slightly adjust her hands will do. Shu looked back to check the distance between them, just to realize he wasn't behind. In a mild panic, she moved her head to look around while she was still running. The shadow run didn't seem to exhaust the energetic girl, even she was already sweating, she did enjoy the game. Roland's voice suddenly came from her front that she halted quickly and changed her direction. "Pffff That's not fairrrrrr! You should chase from behind~" She complained. "Rule breaker gets no ice cream!" She puffed up, forgetting that there were other audiences with them. Since when there was such a rule, obviously that's a Shu 's rule.

Roland huffed as she stopped dead in her tracks, he had almost caught her this way but now she was running the other way again complaining her was a rule breaker.
"You can't make rules like that because I found you ice cream! You have to share or..." Or what actually? That was a good question. He'll figure that out later after her caught her.
Running after her he finally chased her 'the right way' at least according to her new rules.

"I can, because I am the one who gets the ice-cream~" She answered with a light chuckle. There, they came back on trail. Roland's speed was fast, maybe the difference between the length of their legs. She had times nearly caught, but she evaded his hand. She breathed out in relief and continued the game. "Almost~ So close~" She teased or encouraged. "I will share when you catch me!" The girl hopping promised. Miliardo Kason It would take forever to catch her, so dice time Higher than....60: Success?

"But I found it for sharing Shu, sharing!" Longer legs did have it's perks when it came to chasing the girl down, it helped him cut her off earlier. And maybe well, interrupting a few hunters mid meal...
However Shu was still tiny and quick and Roland lost sight of her as she squeezed into a crowd of other very tall hunters, causing him to frown in frustration.

Roland better catch the girl quick or their ice-cream will melt. However, Shu was too concentrated on the game, the stupid girl won't notice, there she jumped over another empty chair. Her laughter was all around the caferteria, though she didn't realized for a while until she calmed down. "I WILL SHAAAAAAREEEEE~ Once you catch me." She added the last part which was the most important. Tiny people has their own merits, for instance, they are good at hiding or evading, very sneaky to be caught. The taller hunters all served as the best obstacles, when they stared at her in confusion, she gave them a sweet smile with her hands raised up high. Not to let Roland lose her track, she occasionally jumped up to look for him. She is a good girl, right?

"IF YOU DON'T STOP IT'S GONA MELT SHU IT'S GONA MEEEEEELT!"
He could see her popping up and down randomly, her tiny figure popping around the crowd of Hunters. It was indeed an issue. Every time she popped up it was in another crowd of people.
Finally he just stopped and stood there frowning, "Shu the more you run the more it melts and then no one gets icream."

"Melt? What's gonna melt?" Obviously Shu was too stupid to notice the ice water was dripping down her hands. Maybe she do notice because she shook the water on her hands away from time to time, but her consciousness didn't alarm her at that moment. She was - was just too exhilarated. Shu tilted her head and stared at the hunter who stopped, game end? The girl frowned with a sad face, she wanted to play a bit more, just like the old days. There wasn't usually a chance for someone to play with her like this, and she cherished it. "Just a little while more?" She asked while started to run again. Miliardo Kason Try harder, she's hesitating, aka roll higher to shake her stand XD

Roland was very sad with you Shu, so very sad. He could see the ice cream puddling slightly around the bottom of the container, the moistness on the outside as it started to sweat from being waves about and run around.
Slowly he approached her like a wild rabbit ready to flee.
"Shu please, please stop running away if you keep running the ice creams going to get warm and melt, can't you feel it already starting too?"

Shu should be crying i she realized the ice-cream on her hands was melting, there wasn't what she wanted obviously, she just wanted a game time. Noticing Roland's voice was a bit like begging, she slowed down and finally stood there from a distance and watched as he slowly approached her carefully. "WHAT? No! Ice-cream can't melt! No!" She shook her head and refused to accept the truth that it was melting. Hands tightly grabbed onto the round container. She stumbled and moving backward, away from Roland bit by bit, and maybe fleeing again if he didn't make his move with caution. Miliardo Kason Let's change to calm her down game.

Roland raised his hands slowly in the air, no threat, no threat Shu! "C'mon Shu, lets go find somewhere nice to eat the ice cream okay? It's not melted entirely it's just gona be a little thin on the top but the rest will be good. We just can't keep running around right now. Okay?"

Shu stared at Roland with high caution, like an alerted animal, eyes locked on what might attack it who might scold her. However, the man approaches gently and with a soft persuasive voice, telling that it was okay, everything was under good control. "R-really?" She asked gingerly, with a hopeful expression. Yet, she was still kept a distance, just stop moving further away. It was a rare chance to see the girl not smiling or cheerful and Roland got the luck. If the hunter never deal with crybaby before, he finally got his chance, Shu probably was a typical example, stupid weak crybaby in appearance. The usually talkative girl was quiet, didn't say anything for quite a long time until she opened her mouth, eyes looked into the hunter's. "Really? It-It's not too late?" No matter what his answer was, the petite girl nodded and slowly walked towards the hunter, with the ice-cream. Congratulations Ro! You finally made it! Miliardo Kason I reached 3,000 words already, can't believe it! XD

Roland was not about to attack. Or scold.
Scooting a big closer he finally got into reach to pat her on the shoulder, "C'mon, we should go eat it before it gets any more melted." Or someone realizes he stole their ice cream...
Reaching over to the smaller hunter he started to pat her head.
"Let's go little Shushu-Bunny"
