Andrew Bones (later nicknamed 'Drew') was born about 2:05pm on Monday, January 15th, 2001, less than two minutes before his twin sister, Xandria Nicole Bones (later nicknamed Dria). Drew and Dria were nearly inseparable from the time when they were very young. They were born to Thomas Dean 'Dean' Bones and Fiona Diane 'Di' Boats Bones. Drew was more of an artist, whereas Dria was more of a technical person. But their love for all things Egyptian was fueled by roots on their father's side in Egypt.
Their Aunt Claudia Bones (Aunt 'Dia' their father's much younger sister) helped out as much as she could, despite being in college. She worked in her brother's business and watched the children, etc.
When Drew and Dria were around 8, their younger sister, Danielle Kimberly Erin Bones (later nicknamed Dani), was born.
When Drew and Dria were 12, the three siblings and their aunt were taken to Egypt on an Education Trip by Dean and Di, (though Aunt Dia was allowed to pursue her own journey). On the plane ride home, Drew and Dria were talking excited when suddenly some unexpected nasty weather sprang up, and the plane had to make an emergency water landing. In the midst of the chaos, Dria went missing.
Detectives, Police and Search and Rescue Workers were called in over the next months to help out. Drew was devastated - this was his twin, his best friend who he shared everything with, she was a part of him. Christmas came and Granpa Bones and Granma Bones came to help any way they could. Then something terrible happened. One of the officers came forward with agonizing news - sadly they were calling the search off. Something in Drew snapped - and this led to a horrific series of events. First, Drew attacked the officer and had to be restrained. That may or may not have partially caused Granpa Bones' fatal heart attack. Afterwards, Granma Bones blamed Drew for her husband's death, and to a lesser extent, Dean, Di and Dia, and even Dani a tiny bit and cut ties with them.
Then Mom and Dad had to come to terms with difficult decision they had to make: Drew at this point obviously needed a lot of help (this wasn't his only outburst) and Dani needed a safe place to grow up. They asked Aunt Dia to take temporary custody of Dani and move away. Aunt Dia was always making sacrifices for the family and now she made her greatest one yet - she gave up her dream of being a doctor and dropped out of college to raise Dani on her own. His mother's health began to decline. All of these things just made Drew feel worse.
3 years later, at the age of 15, Drew was getting into trouble with the police for vandalism and other minor crimes, and his parents had learned of good counselors and alternatives schools in Destiny City. Soon, he was started in Hilllworth School for Boys, and then... something amazing happened.
His parents were going out for the day - for a business venture they said - but Drew understood instinctually the truth - his mother was needing a mental health appointment, as she had lost Dria, she had given up Dani, and she was losing Drew a little more each day - which Drew also felt bad about, but still couldn't bring himself to do anything about it. While they left, he was in charge of the house (not wise). He decided to his room black; walls, floor, ceiling - without permission.
He had just finished, when he heard a racket outside and went to investigate it. Some kind of weird monster was causing wonton destruction on the neighborhood. For some strange reason, he felt called to fight it- but nothing he did seemed to affect it. Then what seemed to be a teenager in a strange costume along with a talking cat showed up and started fighting the monster (he would later learn that the girl was a Sailor Senshi and meant to fight such things, and the Cat was a Mauvian or Guardian Cat, who was sent to help in the fight). At first, the Sensshi, thinking he was an ordinary civilian, asked him to stay back, but then the Cat spoke up, and that Drew could help - the next thing Drew knew he had powered up as 'Sailor Etamin of Hieroglyphics" and was fighting off the monster alongside her. The monster was soon destroyed.
Somehow being chosen to be a force for good gave Drew a hope he'd not felt in a long time. And it turned him around. He made friends in Order and took out enemies and used his influence to gather information that might be helpful in finding Dria. And then one day (a year later) she was home - with no memory of anything before the past 4 years. And suddenly, she too was a Sailor Scout - Sailor Pasithee of The Blue Lotus. Then with Drew healing and Dria finally home, Mom and Dad made a decision, they'd at one point lost hope they'd ever be able to make - they brought hope Aunt Dia and Dani - almost completely reuniting the family. And then Dani was Awoken as Chibi Sailor Leaena of Cheetahs during a very difficult battle.
At one point, in a fit of despair, after a bad month, a lost battle, arguments with his sisters and a particularly nasty dream about he himself turning dark and destroying Earth as Sailor Etamin, he and some guy Order friends went to check his homeworld, to blow off steam. Was his dream a premonition or memory from his previous life (note: it was only stress)? For waiting there for them, was a mirror image of him (or at least Sailor Etamin) bent on destroying everything in its path. Drew/Sailor Etamin (the real one) learned of his past life's demise (*see above) and felt horrible. This image was not actually him, but the chaos that had actually taken control of his Past Incarnation and caused him to do such horrific things. Now it had taken his form and was threatening him and his friends. None of them had the power to stop it, and indeed their very lives were taken hostage. The ultimatum was given - surrender himself to be destroyed - or they would be destroyed. He couldn't let them die on his account - he surrendered - and apparently, he had passed some sort of test. Only an Etamin who had truly felt remorse for his actions and made himself change to the point where he'd die for his friends, would be able with any power level to destroy this evil. The Guardian Cat with them, was now able to convey upon Etamin the powers of a Super Sailor Scout, with which he destroyed the evil once and for all and saved his friends.
Drew now focused on two goals, besides his regular Senshi Duties - restoring his homeworld (which at the moment was even now still wary of him) and writing his first Scholarly Paper as an Senshi Scholar, on the various Powered Beings of the war. Things seemed to go well. He got a motorcycle at one point and a job at his Dad and Mom's new business - now a billion-dollar engineering business called 'Bones Engineering'. His Dad, the CEO, didn't let him get a comfy job either; he started at the bottom, doing all the grunt work, at Minium Wage; his Dad was teaching him a good work ethic and he tried hard.
In the Civilian World, he realized, he was about to graduate - and had no idea where his future lay. He put a good long meditation into it, and for some reason, stopped by the Police Officer table at the job fair. A good conversation with a friendly one (who hadn't known him during his troubled years and was therefore NOT prejudiced) told him he had a chance at being a Police Officer himself. During this time of thought, who but Granma Bones, decided to spend Christmas with the family, reconciling with them - but only if Drew was somewhere else - it seemed she had not forgiven him. Dad, Mom and Aunt Dia discussed this, and decided that Drew being almost 18, was now an adult and acted like one (usually) and see what he had to say on the matter. He was furious, thinking that they had already made their decision and left the house, slamming the door behind him to spend Christmas at a friend's or anywhere but there. Later, Dani found him and brought him home, having set Granma Bones straight and they all reconciled.
Later, they all went to visit Granma Bones, as her stomach cancer had suddenly soared out of control. She and Drew grew close in the following weeks, and she wrote everyone including and especially him back into her will. Not too long after that, she passed away, and they attended her funeral. Afterward, they attended the reading of her Will. She left her late husband's (Granpa Bones) billion-dollar medical business, and a horse to Drew, as well as a trust fund that he might go to medical school like his Granpa. Unhappy to not follow his Granma's last wishes, he knew he had to follow his own path, and ended up becoming a Police Officer. Knowing that his Aunt Dia wanted to become a doctor herself and had sacrificed her dream to help the family (actually because of him), he asked for the trust fund and business be transferred to her, which was approved (though Aunt Dia took a little convincing at first (too modest and always sacrificing for her family)). During Police Academy, Drew finally shaved his long braid off (it had gotten to his waist) and so much hair of, they started calling him ' Cue Ball'. The Police Officer that had encouraged him to become one, eventually became his partner (Sr. Partner), at least at certain times- which he thoroughly enjoyed.
During this time, he also rescued a Silver Egyptian Mau kitten, from some teens who were maliciously tormenting it. He immediately took it to the vet for treatment. The news was bad. While the injuries were substantial, and could threaten the kitten's life, 'the Kitten's spark or whatever, if one could believe that a cat could have a soul, was damaged' the vet said - or basically whether the kitten could or couldn't live from his physical injuries was not the problem; the problem was the kitten did not wish to live, and therefore his injuries would not heal, and he would die. The vet had sadly seen it so many times before and offered to put the kitten to sleep. Something in Drew couldn't let the vet do this, and he said he'd fight for the kitten's life. The vet surprised, nodded and gave him a regiment to follow, which he did. He also found the nearest Order Cat and sought help from him. The Cat was horrified at the sight of the kitten and asked what Etamin, did to it. Etamin explained what happened and the Cat went into immediate action and did what he could to help. He checked every few days, until the kitten, who with Drew's love and care, began to recover.
Around the age of 19 or 20, two amazing things to Drew/Etamin. As Etamin, he was promoted to Eternal Sailor Etamin and the kitten Awakened into a Guardian Cat (or Kitten), named Darius Ammon (who often went by Dari) and he was Bonded to Etamin! So close were they that (also because Dari didn't remember his own family) Dari now insists on calling him 'Daddy)
When Drew was almost 20, his house had surprisingly become quite crowded (his parents had been encouraging Aunt Dia, Dria and he to find their own places for almost a year and a half) - his mother gave birth to another set of twins - two boys. Their names were Darrell and Darren - but now everyone just calls them "Dell' and 'Den' respectfully. Now there are 8 people living in a 4-bedroom house. Mom and Dad share a room, Aunt Dia gets a room to herself (albeit it's the smallest room), Drew gets the largest room, but he shares it with Den and Dell, and Dria and Dani share a room.
Drew just turned 21 and has been spending a lot of time on his homeworld WITHOUT anyone else, including Dari or Dria (Dari he leaves in Dria's care). He tells Dari that Dari needs to learn his duties as a Guardian Cat right now and there are some things on the homeworld of Etamin, that Drew/Etamin just needs to do alone. And while, both of those things are true, there is another deeper reason. Drew is having memories. Memories of his past life - the one where he as Etamin destroyed his world. But these are mainly before that, some happy, some sad, some terrible. And many of them include Darius Ammun .. and his family... their family... a family that Etamin destroyed 1000 years ago, at the end of the Silver Millennium. This will probably destroy their Bond. Drew wants the entire story first - then he wants Dari to hear it from his own mouth. Whateverr happens, it will be on his head.
