The form turned out to be quite a pain to deal with. With each part, Shun answered as tersely as possible, not really wanting to go into too much details regarding himself.
"Do you ever shut up?" he asked Danny while she was chanting nonstop. He didn't even look over at her, as he was focusing on getting the papers filled out and whatnot. Once that was all done, he stacked up the things, hoping that Rikki actually wrote down what he said.
"Thank you," he told the guy. He glanced over the others, then quietly went on his way to deliver them to the proper office. It was a little hard to believe. It was the sort of change his life needed. No longer would he have to sleep in the streets with an empty stomach.

Oooooh, now this looked like a fun game! And what was that--a prize with every pop? Count her in! Eyes gleaming with excitement, Cecilia trotted forward and gave an excited little wave of her hand at the teen running the booth. "Hey there! Mind if I try?" Had she had a tail, it undoubtedly would have been wagging a mile a minute, leaning forward to take hold of one of the darts.
This couldn't be too hard, right? Maybe? She couldn't say she had a great deal of experience with playing darts, but she had occasionally given it a go whenever she visited her brother while he was at work (aka, whenever the Stationary Guard soldiers were slacking, which was really most of the time).
Taking careful aim, she guided her hand back and forth and preparation before letting the dart loose. To her absolutely delight, there was a loud popping sound as her dart managed to successfully hit its target. Hurrah!
"Wow wow--I didn't do too bad, did I?!" Bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet, Cecilia turned to grin at the booth runner with a grin. Maybe she had a bit more skill in this than she thought!

Approaching the booth he gladly took up the chance at trying to possibly pop a bubble. Grabbing a dart from the small box he positioned himself appropriately, taking aim with his left hand he gave the dart a quick toss.
Miss. His toss was off, missing his initial attempt. He really needed to work on his aim.

Maybe if he tried again? He went for yet another dart, he gave it a toss with his left hand again. Of all the things he'd done today during the festival this easily could have been one of his favorites besides the ridiculous gold fish and the paper nets.
And again he missed. Tsking he retrieved the dart. It was something to pass the time at least.

Alec reasoned he'd trying it a couple more times. Trying instead his right hand, as he had always wondered which truly was better than the other he gave it another shot.
That perhaps had been worse than his initial two attempts. Laughing, he went to go fetch the dart as it didn't even make it that far. "Yea no." At least that answered his question.

Shaking his head, he again went with the left handed toss. Taking aim he squinted at the target giving the dart another quick toss.
And success! The sound of a bubble popping was a satisfying reward. Grinning he glanced at the list of prizes when he was told he could have something. The allure of candy was great. Selecting it, he chewed gratefully at the sweet treat. Practice makes perfect after all.
Alright, maybe one or two more goes he told himself.

Still chewing on his previous victory spoils he prepared another dart for flight. Again he tried to focus and take aim. Biting his tongue was a nasty surprise indeed.
He swore having biten down on his tongue as he went to toss the dart, just missing it by a bit.

For what it was worth the target practice was fun. Huffing he gave another dart a toss. Letting it sail as it willed.
Wow he was just bad at aiming it seemed. Maybe just one more? Just to try and see if he could redeem his miss streak.

One more. He told himself strictly. It was time to head home, his mother would be looking for him. Not to mention Ashley would be whining for her brother to read a story by now anyway. Grabbing his last dart, he let out a slow breath. Sure he could always come back tomorrow but it was worth seeing if his last try would hold up.
He shoots...HA!
He scored. Not the top prize but at least it was something. Selecting a teddy bear with the younger girl at home in mind he grinned stuffing the bear under his arm. Maybe he'd try his luck again later. Putting away his darts he'd used he waved farewell before excusing himself.

Maybe because he had won the bear, and was feeling up to another round he grabbed another dart after setting the stuffed animal down trying his skill at balloon popping.
Score, another prize to add. He took the pen and paper this time for himself, adding it to the little bag that had the flowers from Elliots shop. Not bad, he had a few little neat things to bring home now.

Another test of skill, what would he get this time?
No go. He flicked it wrong and it stuck in the ground. Rats he was a bad shot when he was holding things..oh well. At least it was fun right? He'd set his things down and go again.
He had a good feeling he was getting warmer. That one had been pretty damn close,and now he was determined. Stubbornly so.

(( Go, Go awesome dart throwing skills? Woo! That also means I've landed on 2,4 (twice) and 6 as well c: )) Much to his surprise his aim was true. So he was better at left handed throwing after all. With practice he had finally managed to get his target. Scoring the highest of the balloon's possible to pop he made an excited sound, close to a shout of happiness. "Oh HELL YES!" he looked around sheepishly having blurted out his enthusiasm so loudly. He'd practically shouted. Grinning ear to hear the teen picked up his goodies Alec was pleased with his results. "Would you look at that..practice DOES make perfect afterall. Huh."he was done now for sure. He thanked the booth owner before placing his darts away. With that he was off to head home, Bear for his sister, something to practice his terrible penmanship on, and the freebie necklace...and most importantly perhaps was the flowers for his mother. All in all the day had been rather enjoyable. Alec had met a few people who had left him confused, while others had been an absolute delight to talk too. Later he'd check in with all the activities again for new chances and adventures. Alec had started the day fairly slow, and a bit troubled but when he hit the door he was relaxed if not content. Maybe he hadn't made any real friends or anything but it was a start at least.

Bas had been doing well with these sort of games that required aim, so when he walked up to the booth his interest was immediately piqued. Besides, there were prizes, and he could see them (something the last booth had been sorely lacking in...). Maybe he'd be nice enough to bring something back for Elliot. He'd let his friend live vicariously through him, so he had to win all the prizes!
The young man picked up a dart and twirled it between his fingers, watching as another man managed to win. If it was that easy to hit a balloon, then surely Bas was guaranteed to win this one. Sucking in a soft breath, he aimed for a balloon towards the middle and threw his dart... and missed. Well, damn, that was embarrassing.

Bas glanced around, making sure that no one had just witnessed his failure. He wouldn't mind if some people knew he couldn't hit a damn balloon with a dart, but it would still be a little embarrassing. Sighing softly, he hoped this next throw would have better luck. He eyed the same balloon, knowing that eventually he would pop that sucker!
It just wasn't today, apparently.
