Listens to the children bicker and smiles. Kids. But then it was too quiet. Way too quiet. Scared now, because of the stillness and the hushed whisper, Mattie quickly slides behind a tree. She knew better than to think she could out run this thing or fight it. "Hide!" She mouths to the children. Then she glances around to see if there is a better spot to hide.
2B. Hide! They haven't seen us yet.

Maybe they should have gone up into the trees after all. "Run!" she screamed as she went to go and get the kids. She knew that Radaku could be really dangerous, so maybe if they ran away they could be safe. There was no way she wanted to be face to face with one of those!

2B. Hide! They haven't seen us yet.
Mella heard the girl’s whisper and felt the air in her lungs seize in panic. She looked up at the canopy a part of her mind praying to the cold goddess to keep them safe knowing that she would never be able to outrun the creatures and keep the younglings safe. “Quick hide.” She grabbed the children and hoped the beast didn’t have much of an appetite or the will to follow strange scents. She was no warrior and couldn’t fight but she slipped her small knife out while crouching to hide hoping she would never have to use it.

If you chose Menzuri: 1A
The two children quickly ran from the menzuri, hiding in the leaves and vines of the canopy once they thought they were far enough away. The little boy was crammed into the back of their hiding spot and the little girl shoved him just a little farther back. He grabbed a hold of her arm, feeling nothing but free air at his back and fell from the tree, taking the ice girl with him. They were both too afraid to scream, but managed to let out a yelp as they landed in something very soft under them.
The were unharmed and looked each other over, now in a glowing part of the forest. They had fallen in an overgrown patch of moss. They were safe. The little girl quickly got to her feet. "I knew that would happen." She brushed herself off and looked to the little boy. "Maybe we should break for food." The boy looked to the girl. Was she really asking for his opinion?
What will you choose?
A. No! We're so close, let's keep going.
B. Maybe that's a good idea. Let's stop for now.
If you chose Menzuri: 1B
The little girl took one look at the Menzuri before looking to the boy. "Jump! Now!"She grabbed a hold of the little boy's arm, practically pushing him from the tree. It was a long way down, that was for sure, and the boy was only hoping that she knew of something under them that would break their fall. They were both too afraid to scream, but managed to let out a yelp as they landed in something very soft under them.

The little boy looked at the girl before he quietly shoved her back. "Run! Now!" He pushed her into a run and they both tried to make it as far as they could before running out of breath. They were tired, but it seemed that the threat was now gone. There was no sound of chase and there was no sign of hungry radaku looking for little children. The boy sighed and looked up at the girl. She seemed relieved but mad all the same. "You didn't have to push me you know." She pouted.
She looked around at their location, now in a glowing part of the forest. "Maybe we should break for food." The boy looked to the girl. Was she really asking for his opinion?

A. No! We're so close, let's keep going.
B. Maybe that's a good idea. Let's stop for now.
If you chose Radaku: 2B
The little girl put a hand over the boy's mouth and pointed to the bushes nearby before running for them and taking cover. The sounds continued, getting closer and closer before they saw the paws of the radaku come through the forest where they had been standing not too long ago. The radaku seemed to sniff the air before snorting and looking to the other one it had brought with it.
They silently passed, seeming to deem whatever it was they had smelled not worthy. The little boy looked to his left, seeing a smelly pile of dung next to him. The radaku went away and the little girl laughed at the boy's crinkled nose. "You should see your face!" She quietly laughed out. He pushed back through the bushes and away from the bad smell. "Gross." The girl motioned for the boy. "C'mon. Let's keep going."
They made it a little further through the forest before the girl called out to stop. She looked around at their location, now in a glowing part of the forest. "Maybe we should break for food." The boy looked to the girl. Was she really asking for his opinion?

If you chose Radaku: 2C
The little girl looked to the boy before crossing her arms. "We can take them." She picked up a branch from the floor and held her ground firm. The boy took a large breath in, not entirely sure the girl knew what she was doing. Had she ever seen a radaku in person? He picked up another branch from the floor and waited for what was to come.
Two radaku came out of the forest, snarling and sniffing at the kids. It would seem that they were hungry. The girl took a swipe at one of the radaku; it bared its fangs and in less than a second had her branch in its mouth and snapped in two. The little girl swallowed hard before looking to the boy, fear in her eyes. "Run!" She cried out, fear taking control of her. Her and the little boy ran from the radaku, back the way they came, as fast as their little legs could carry them. They had a ways to go before they got back to Neued, and they could hear the radaku's paws rhythmically trotting behind them.
Game over!
The children have gone home! They didn't get to wherever it was they were going. Darn.

A hand to his throat Takoda had felt like he couldn't take much more of this. Sure he didn't want the kids to find out he was following them but the close call with the Menzuri had caused his heart to leap into his throat. It was still beating hard despite the girl, un-phased, suggesting that they either take a break or keep going.
The shifter wasn't sure if he could keep himself hidden any longer if they kept going, but luckily the boy suggested that they take a small break. How could they be so non-chalant after coming across a Menzuri? His mind was still confused with everything that was going on. But he hoped where-ever they were headed was going to take them to a village...else he would have to step in.

"That was dangerous," Lue sighed, pinching her brow in frustration. Her heart was still beating fast after that close call. She followed the kids out of the bushes, and when it was decided that they should stop for food, Lue decided it was a good idea. "I can't disagree. Let's take a break.."

Niadra had both kids by the hand as they ran, making sure that they were in front of her the whole way. When the finally stopped she looked around, it seemed that they had escaped! She was happy, she had a feeling that her plan would work. As the kids talked about wanting food she frowned, now that she thought about it she was kind of hungry. "Yea, let us eat quickly."

B. Lets break for food.
Yelena jumped down and didn't scream as she fell through the air. She was shocked when they landed on the soft moss but was glad they were safe. She stood up and brushed off the clinging leaves and moss. Once up she looked around and she was hungry too. "Lets stop for a bite to eat then keep going. We do need some food." She smiled at the kids.

With a shrieking laugh Kital spun around tossing the boy up into the air. "WOHOO" he yelled His excitement bubbling over. Erikel Glared at him and looked longingly up into the branches. He wanted some of that venom... even just to look at and study.

The fear from the Radaku was so prominent in Mella’s mind she thought her heart might end up exploding in her chest. Her hands were shaking badly nearly causing her to drop the knife. Oddly enough while the beast was sniffing she realized her nose itched and marveled that was what she noticed when she and two innocent younglings might well end up injured or worse. Thankfully it passed without incident. She thanked the goddess for hearing her prayer and keeping them all safe. She also had never been so glad to see a pile of dung in all her life!
Mella shook her head and looked at the pair. “just because the Radaku is gone for now doesn’t mean it won’t come back if it smells food. We should keep going for at least a little bit more tonight.”
