Personality: It is a good day when the first thing this B'alam hears is the restlessness of the water he is near with his family. Sometimes before he opens his eyes, Calder likes to imagine each drop of water sings an individual note in a wonderful chorus, which hardly ever plays the same song twice. It was what he did when he first awoke from his idol, the music of the sea connected with him before he ever laid eyes on his wonderful parents. There's nothing this little one will love than the feeling of wet sand between his toes.
Each step near the waters edge is more exciting than the last to this nomadic B'alam. He has a wonders heart, though he is far from lost. With this comes a natural sense of curiosity, and from his parents a co-dependency on the water and a deep camaraderie to his tribesmen (and ultimately loyalty to his family).
One day in his adolescence, someone will ask him where the water goes; he will devote the rest of his life to answering that question. No telling where a stream will take him or who he'll run into. Learning how to deal with anger and aggression will be interesting, since it's not something he normally comes across in his day to day lives with his family.
