Donat had yet to try games like checkers, but he was thoroughly enjoying tag so much that he was not exactly thinking of trying anything else right now. The suspense was killing him at the moment, though; the chase part was so much more exciting and active than this prowl-around-the-corner part. So, giving up on any careful planning, Donat bounded forward, glancing about quickly for Olly.

The goatboy was similarly inspired to make lots of joyful noise, and he did so as he scurried through the grass after Olly. He was having so much fun, he no longer cared about the occasional trip or tumble through the grass, he just knew that he was IT and he was totally going to catch his friend no matter what! Donat and his clothes both were getting a good smearing of grass stains, just as any good playful boy should have.

Get away? Donat did not even have a chance to stop. With a freaked-out-yet-amused squeal, the goat tumbled over Olly and into the dirt and grass as well. He managed to right himself after a few moments, but could not stop laughing. Was that good enough to pass off the it-ness? Did not really seem to matter, though, just sitting there laughing all covered in grass was enough fun on its own.

Donat just nodded vigorously, getting his grassy hair all into his face before he brushed it all back again. His blue eyes shone, and he still had yet to stop giggling. "Fun!" he managed to get out before breaking down in laughter again, and spread his arms wide before throwing himself at Olly. It was more of a hug than a tackle, especially since the goat-boy did not quite match his friend in size.

Kumoru watched the two flopping around in the grass and just sighed, grinning as he walked towards them slowly. It was not the stern, quick approach of an angry parent; just quick enough to reach Donat before he had grass-stained every hair on his body and every thread of his jeans. Much as the mage felt bad that he had to eventually break up this joyous playdate, Donat had already managed to secure himself at least an hour in the tub.

Donat hugged Olly tightly, but looked up at his father when his friend whispered to him. And, without really trying, gave Kumoru the best big-eyed cute stare he had available.

Feeling his heart inadvertanly melt a little, the mage smiled gently and held a hand out to Donat. "You look like you're getting kind of worn out there, kiddo," he told the little one. "And we have to walk home still, too. Want to say goodbye to Olly, and we can come back another day?"

The goat-boy immediately shook his head, but reluctantly released his friend after a moment and forced himself to toddle over on two legs to take Kumoru's hand.

"Thank you for having us over," Kumoru told Kami on his way out. "I'm glad they both get along so well. We'll have to invite Olly over sometime, won't we, Donat?" He picked a few strands of grass off of his son, disgusing the motion as ruffling his hair.

Either way, Donat didn't seem to mind. He twisted around a little and waved to Olly as he walked off back home, quite thoroughly dirty.
