(XDD I know, right? Actually based on all of us & the grunny event I can't wait to see what happens for Halloween. Already I only have one note for Doc, but October will come fast. Plus if some anons team up... Mwahahahaha <3)

{Uh... Depends? If it came from the baggies then no problems, that's from other people. If it came directly from Doc then... emotion_facepalm }
"Well, you wouldn't be very useful to me if your tissues weren't living. Besides, if horrible things must insist on happening to others because of me, I'd prefer that most of them be intentional." He examined both arms, searching for a vein. "Rubbing your arms can get the circulation going. It could be that you just have thick layers. You aren't diabetic or anemic, are you?" Sciurus strode to the door and opened it before returning to her, just in case anyone got ideas about a threat to her well being going on.

*Oh, good. It came from baggies, so that means Xashowd's good to go*
Xashowd didn't find a bell or any sort of notification device on the side of the counter he was on, so he decided to find a seat and wait. It seemed the Doctor was busy with something, though he wasn't sure what. Xashowd sat down in an empty chair and pulled out a book to read.
"Mildly anemic, a multivitamin takes care of the problem." She obediently rubbed at her veins, "Unless you do something crazy, it should be fine."

"Then I suggest you eat something afterwards, perhaps a good steak. And since I'm technically at work, I have no 'crazy' plans as of yet." Sciurus finally found a good vein and popped the needle in. He kept an eye on it for any leaks as blood did what it tends to do with needles.
"It's a good thing you're better at taking blood than you are at recognizing when you're being flirted with." She laughed, "Or you might have never gotten the needle in my arm."

The doctor snorted at this. "I am a surgeon. Distractions have no place in my work, and if I'm that absentminded, neither do I. I'd watch the flirting if I were you, the needle is still in there and it's quite sharp." He switched to the next bag as the other topped off. "I'm also fairly certain I am out of your age group."
"Good doctor, I'm not even sure what my age group is anymore. I just go for what I like." She smiled, "Besides, there's something romantic about a December/May romance, don't you think?"

Sciurus cursed the setting being a public place. His hand twitched, wanting to give that needle a twist and show how 'good' he was, but nothing beneficial would have come from it. Instead he started twirling his scalpel, irritably. "Then you may not have the wisest preferences there. I no longer have an interest in romance, and as I was born in February, your reasoning is flawed. The only good thing left about me is my profession. Are you not already spoken for anyway?"
"I find my preferences have a curious ability to work themselves out." She winked at the doctor, if he hadn't figured out that flirting was one of her go-to defensive mechanisms by now, it seemed unlikely he ever would, "I'm sure there are many good things left about you, perhaps that you are wanting to deny. As to being spoken for, what have you heard?"

He studied her, pink eyes assessing. "You seemed fairly preoccupied about a young prince when the grunnies were everywhere... Almost enough to flip a van and stub my toe over it. My wife would make that argument, but it's by my own error that she cannot. My preferences have a curious ability to get people killed." He glowered at the blood bag, remembering his last two marriages.
"That obvious, huh?" Minty laughed, "I guess people can't help but show their hand in matters of life and death. But I believe if you know either of us...well." She smiled, crossing and uncrossing her legs.

Dr Sciurus
While reading his book on recent Summoning techniques (Xashowd wanted to learn how to better summon Wind spirits, as only Grendel could regularly be summoned), Xashowd's hearing picked up a conversation. He saw an open door and recognized that as the source of the voices. He listened for a while, chuckled a little, and went back to his book. "Hmm...So I need to make this motion here...fascinating..."
"Hell, I plowed my car into a building for my wife once, perfectly understandable." The surgeon actually smirked at the memory. It didn't help that Barracuda himself was the one who suggested it. "I know neither of you very well, but I will take your word for it. You really should eat something. That's a large volume, even for someone who isn't anemic." Sciurus took the bag as it finished, getting bandaids and things ready for the needle to come out.
