"I understand." Jordan laced his fingers together, keeping himself from reaching out again. He'd wait for Rep to come to him, and hope that it would be soon; he desperately wanted to feel the solid, comforting warmth of Rep's body against him, but pressing the issue would be selfish and counterproductive, would re-splinter the understanding they were tentatively building again.

"I don't want to say that I like knowing you get jealous." He kept himself from looking away. "But knowing that you'd fight for me, that you want to protect me, that makes me feel good." His thumb rubbed over the band of Ferros's ring. "Would it help if I listened to your worries and explained what I'm thinking when that happens, so you know I'm not just ignoring you?"
