Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas shrugged. "Yeah, I'm okay," he replied. "Just feeling a little restless. Not sure why. Maybe I'm not used to not fighting for so long after we were always fighting in the demon realm." He looked down at her. "Why?" He asked curiously. And I just want to show them.

Mirai nodded before going back to resting against Texas and closing her eyes with a small smile. She began relaxing as she listened to the silence around them.

Mirai opened one eye and looked up at him "Alright." she said quietly. She closed her eyes again. She knew she would have to talk to her younger brother eventually and she kind of didn't want to. She didn't know what happened. She thought, before they went out training, they were beginning to bond. Then it seemed like Vincent began following and bonding with Atticus more than anything else, eventually turning into a small version of her father and also picking up some of Atticus' habits, including giving Texas hell which made loving her family much more difficult. After his last dig at Texas about calling him a 'dulled weapon', Mirai wasn't even sure if she wanted to even be in the general vicinity of him. She stopped thinking about it then since it was beginning to make her anxious. She took a deep breath and focused on being with Texas where Atticus and Vincent and anyone else couldn't find them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas seemed to sense what Mirai was thinking. "You don't think Atticus or Vincent could get in here, do you?" He asked. He could only imagine the havoc those two could cause in here if they wanted to. He took a deep breath and pushed it out of his mind. "Well, don't worry about it. They won't. It's your realm right? Forcing your way into someone else's realm is really hard. I remember reading that somewhere.
And I just want to show them.

Mirai buried her face in Texas' shoulder "A demon or witch can make it optional for you to enter their realm. Mother has it so you can come and go but that can be an issue since sometime unwanted guests visit." she said "That's how she met Herald if I recall correctly." she explained. "Anyway yeah... they shouldn't be able to get in here. If they do though, the realm will alert me right away."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas reached over and pulled Mirai down so that her head was lying in his lap. He gave her a smile as he looked down at her. "Which they won't," he told her confidently. "Because you're way smarter than them. And I'm on your team too. Which helps, right? Which reminds me. We have our own team with Herald and Emma now right? And Herald's not supposed to be mad at us anymore? Maybe they'll help us? I bet you anything they have their own realm somewhere!" And I just want to show them.

Mirai snickered "I don't Herald would like it if we came wandering into his realm, which I am sure we wouldn't be able to." she said as she laid on Texas' lap. "Even though he isn't supposed to be mad at me still, I personally still think he is." she said before puffing her cheeks out "Never wanted our relationship to be like that..." she muttered.
