Letters to Arick
Keona and Bisera were quick to rush over to where Shayla was, orbs in hand, both of them looking extremely excited over them. As they showed them off, both of them trying to talk at once to tell her how the hunt went, the woman couldn't only smile and nod. She then lifted a hand up to calm and quiet the two of them before she said, "I have some good news for you if you think that you can take it? I know that the passed few days have been pretty exciting for the two of you." It was something that had the pair all but bouncing in place, but they were doing their best not to say anything that might make her keep teasing them with the 'news' that she had.
Shayla looked over at Junjie and Kathel, smiled at them, then turned back to look at the kids again, "I got a letter delivered to me today from a carrier bird. It seems that Hart has the orbs and he is on his way back here. He will arrive in the new few days." She barely got the words out and the two of them were back to bouncing around in delight, rushing over to their father's to make sure that they had heard Shayla just as the two of them had. The excitement was near to the point that the two of them were going to just keel over from it. They had been able to choose their clans, choose their weapons, go on a dragon hunt with their father's, and now this? Was here anything that could ruin this good streak of luck? The two of them really didn't think so! It was all just... so great!
"Dad! Dad! Did you hear here? In a couple days I am going to be an Ayrala! I will be able to learn to do magic! It's so exciting! I can't wait, I hope Hart hurries!" Keona was saying, tugging on Junjie's arm with one hand, the other one still clutching to the orb that she was holding.
It was something that had the older hybrid smiling, as though seeing his daughter in such a good mood, as well as so excited, brought him great joy. Junjie had times where he sort of spiraled, had bad days, lonely days, but seeing Keona like this was uplifting even for him. His eyes went to the orb that she held and he gave a soft sigh before he said, "I think that, while we wait for Hart to get back, that we should discuss something else of importance. I know it won't be nearly as interesting as getting weapons, joining clans, or battling the dragons of the world, but still, it needs to be done." Even if he wasn't a bit fan of the chore himself that was for personal reasons, he wasn't going to let it color his daughter's opinion on the task.
"Every so often, to show that we are working hard toward ours goals, we are to send some dragon orbs to the leader of our factions through a man named Arick. I think we should see about sitting down, writing him a nice letter, and sending it to him along with the orbs." He explained, glancing over at Kathel, then smiled, "I think I will sit down and write the letter with Keona if you and Shayla wish to do the same with Bisera? I know the two of them tend to work together on this sort of thing but I have been lax in sending orbs to Arick myself."
Kathel nodded, motioning to Bisera, "Come on boy, let's go and get this done. Letter writing hasn't always been my strong suit but Junjie is right, it's something we have to do. Once it's done the two of you kids can see about preparing a welcome home present for Hart. He's gone out of his way for those orbs and you both owe him for that." He said, leading his son and wife to the table to sit down.
Junjie watched them go before turning his attention back to Keona, "Come, let's see about getting these letters done, hm?" He said, walking with her to another place so that they could sit down together, just the two of them. Abellio and Arjan were waiting outside with Meir, looking after the little whelp so that Junjie could tend to this task with his daughter, a task for them to take on by themselves. It would be the first time in a long time since they'd had this sort of one on one time since there always seemed to be someone else nearby. Each of them got a piece of paper and a writing implement before they went to work on their respective letters.
It took a short amount of time for Keona to get her's done, having written out what she felt was important to the man that her fathered called Arick before she said, "All done! What do you think?" She said, reading it over real fast for him, "Dear Mister Arick, I am sending to you two kiandri dragon orbs that I got during some hunts with my friend and our fathers. I hope that you can see them into the right hands. Because of my mixed blood, I am Oblvionite, Orderite, and Dovaa, I don't know who the orbs should go. Please pick for me. From, Keona."
Junjie gave a chuckle, "That sounds good. Leave your letter here, as well as the two orbs, and when I am doing with my letter I will box everything up. Do you want to help with that or do you want to go play with Meir?" He asked of her, having a bit harder time with the letter himself. It was going to take him a bit to really figure out how to word it and as such he didn't want to keep Keona all day. He watched as she seemed to be in debate before he turned back to his letter, tapping the tip of his pen against the paper in a thoughtful manner, then looked up again... finding her gone. Junjie looked around for a moment, then spotted her just as she was heading out the door, off to play with Meir it seemed. He gave a smile before returning to the letter.
It took him a while but he was finally able to get his thoughts down on paper, deciding that Keona was onto something. While he couldn't say that he had much in the way of loyalty to one leader or another he left it up to Arick, asking him to direct the orbs to the one that he felt would be most worthy of them. So long as the orbs that Junjie had gathered, as well as the ones that Keona had gathered, ended up in the right hands then he would be happy. The problem was his biased blinded him toward whose hands were 'right' making it difficult to decide who he should see them given to. He knew leaving it up to Arick may be a gamble, he might see them go to whoever his biased preferred, but Junjie would allow it. So long as he didn't have to decide in an arbitrary, pulling a name out of a hat manner, then he was happy.
He set to work packing up the orbs and the letters, as well as those that Bisera gave to him before the boy ran off, and soon he was seeing to it that the package was sent to Arick. Feeling mentally exhausted from that exercise Junjie got up to his feet, heading for the door, and was glad to be met by Abellio and Arjan, giving them both a hug before turning to watch the two kids as they ran around with the little Orakoi. It would help to relax him after all that letter writing.

The Orbs Arrive
One almost felt bad for Hart as he came into view and got all but tackled by the two children that had been waiting 'forever' for him to get back with his precious cargo that he'd gotten from the Celestial Plane. A pair of dragon orbs, one Gaili and one Ayrala, that were meant for the two kids that were currently hanging off of him asking him a million questions at once. The man gave a bit of a sighing sound, looking over to Aeton who was nearby, and the Orderite archer was quick to come over and help to detach the kids from the Firani. Looking down at him the red eyed Dovaa said, "If you would calm down? I'd rather not have these orbs break and their power go about in some wonky manner." He shook his head, then looked over at the other grown ups, "I see you all laughing over there! I will singe the lot of you if you don't... hey... hey! I said stop laughing not laugh."
The Firani Dovaa was tempted to gather some fire right then and there but Aeton stopped him, giving him a pat on the shoulder before he said, "If you give them the orbs they will leave you alone." Words that had Hart calming down before he shrugged the pack off his shoulder, dug into it, and handed off the two orbs to the two kinds, "Now scram you little monsters." He said, waving the two of them off before going to stand next to Aeton who he quietly spoke with, getting caught up with what he'd missed since he'd left.
Junjie and Kathel were nearly tackled by their kids as they came over with the two big, great orbs, both of them asking if they could use them yet, if they could become a part of their new clans, how long before they could use magic, and various other questions like that. Their excitement was catchy, something that had Junjie and Kathel both smiling, as well as making Shayla laugh. It was the woman who spoke up, lifting her hands to rest them on the kids' heads to calm them, before saying, "Let's go inside and we will see about helping you both to take on the power from the orbs." The pair jumping around and squealing was already getting enough attention turned their way, they didn't need to go about this outside. It was a family affair if you asked her and while Junjie and Keona weren't blood they were still family.
The whole of the group, even Hart, and all of the Khehora, all headed inside the house that they were staying in. It was a bit on the tight side but for the moment nobody really cared, instead everyone was just eager to see the two of them join their clans.
Junjie smiled, feeling so proud of his daughter yet again, how strong she was getting. He had been so worried when she was little given the way that she came into the world. She was dong well though, reminding him a lot of himself when he was younger, only she seemed to be a little better about not wandering off as far. If his mother knew some of the places that he'd gone with she was younger she'd of had a fit. A thought that had him thinking about his mother, about his home in Serenia, now that everything had come together right he felt that after this they should start planning their return their. His mother had yet to meet Keona in person after all, only hearing about her through letters though the Mara had cut off that contact. He was eager to get back to Serenia soon, to see how things were doing there, how his mother was doing. Before all of that though there was this ritual.
"Alright, Keona, all you have to do is break the orb. The power will flow out of it, into you, and imbue you with the essence of the Ayrala clan." Junjie said, remember the day that he had gotten his own great Ysali orb and how happy he'd been. It had been a great day and he wanted it to be a day for Keona to remember as well.
Bisera, who was listening in, turned to Keona and said, "Alright, back to back, Nana, we will count to three and BAM, we will be full fledged Dovaa!" As if it would be that easy to become one, but Junjie, nor Hart in fact, said anything about all the hard work that they would need to do to be able to use their magic and really become a 'full fledged' Dovaa. That could be saved for later though, for now they would allow the pair to enjoy the moment.
Just as he'd suggested the pair of them stood back to back with each other, lifting the orbs up over their heads, and after counting to three they threw the orbs down, shattering them, and released the powers. The golden brown energy of the Gaili orb wrapped around Bisera as the silver energy of the Ayarala wrapped around Keona. The changes were immediate as they absorbed the power of their respective clans, and after all of the energy had been taken into them they spun around to face each other, and set to inspecting the changes in one another in an excited manner. It was a sight that had Junjie, Kathel, and Shayla all smiling, the three of them quite proud of their little ones.
Shayla clapped her hands together then and said, "Come! It's a day to celebrate so how about we go to the market and see about getting ingredients for a cake?" Words that had the two kids squealing once more before they each caught hold of one of her hands, dragging her off to do just that with Meir quick to follow after them. Great dragon orbs and cake, what could be better then that? If you asked Keona and Bisera they would likely say that nothing at all could possibly be better, something that Hart would silently agree on as the Firani seemed to be just as excited about the cake. He'd take a big piece and call it his payment for going so far out of his way.
Junjie turned to Kathel and said, "Come, I'd like to chat with you a bit while those three go shopping." He said, leading the big Orderite outside so that they could talk. Abellio and Arjan followed after Junjie, never leaving their bonded alone often. It went from stuffy and loud, to quiet and empty in a short amount of time leaving Aeton and Hart alone in the house to clean up in the after math of their ritual. It was something Hart was instantly complaining about but Aeton didn't seem to mind, then again it had always been pretty hard to ruffle the archers
