15. You find a marvelously-intact shed snakeskin.
Not long after, he spotted the shimmering line hanging from a branch. It looked good there, glittering, dew still dotting it a little. He left it there and moved on.

20. You stumble on a friend and get distracted talking (either invite someone in for a few posts, or use one of your other Kin or an NPC).

"Oh, hullo!" came a cheerful voice from nearby, and a doe crawled out of the underbrush...followed, it seemed, by a good number of small animals. The slug, at least, had a sling full of fungus affixed to its back, and the piglets had their noses to the ground while the mongoose chittered excitedly at the strange buck in front of them. "Have you seen any good mushrooms around here?"

Moon pulled up short from his wanderings and looked her over. She was a stranger, yes, but seemed harmless. "Oh! Hullo." He took a moment to think about his valley. "Hmmm... I believe that there is some prime patches that way, near the stream." He jerked his head in the right direction. "Where did you come from?"

Long Ago turned back and indicated the way she came from. "Over there?" she speculated. "Or perhaps over there? Maybe there?" She pointed in two complete different directions and laughed. "Thanks for the info! Gotta go, you know how it is with employers. Come to Rise & Co for delicious eats!" And with that, she was gone, as quickly as she had arrived. Or probably would have been, but the slug didn't move very fast, so she wasn't going very fast either.

26. Your nosy poking around has disturbed an angry old mare, who chases you off her land. You escape without incident.
He chuckled, watched Long Ago go on her way, and he went on his. Unfortunately, he had found his way back to the Eastern edge of the valley, where the cranky mare apparently was still hanging out. This time, she chased him right back into his territory, but left him unharmed. He scowled; something had to be done about her.

18. You find a plant of absolutely intoxicating scent, surrounded by hummingbirds. It proves impossible to transport their nectar, but nothing's stopping you from sampling some while you're here.
As if to soothe his bruised ego, the sweet buzz of hummingbirds led him straight to a new thing: A pretty bush, it's leaves, stalks, and flowers all sweet like sugar. The flowers were huge, trumpet-shaped, and deep purple, all highly enticing for hummers. He tipped one down to try the nectar, and hummed over the taste. "Must remember to show this to Luck."

25. You had every intention of bringing this perfect fallen fruit back to Never Idle, but temptation won out, and you ate it yourself. Way to go.
Well, he was hungry.

19. You hear Never Idle chiding you in a strangely metallic voice: "Work faster! Work faster!" But then you realize it's only a mocking-raven, who must have grown up near the stag's place of business.
And of course, lunch had to be interrupted by a very unfortunate bird. He spat the core of the fruit at it, then moved on. "I am already...."

3. You find the still-glowing tail of some dead lizard. The rest of the carcass has been eaten. It's not what he asked for, but it sure is lovely....
Well, it wasn't on the list, but perhaps Luck would like it. He was getting tired of searching, but determined to find something today.

14. A wonderfully lovely conch shell is nestled in the grass. It is strange to see this so far inland...
This was proving difficult. He kept finding things to gift Luck, and not much list items. The conch was pretty, though. He stowed it in one of his caches, then went on his way.

17. The jellyfish are migrating: a beautiful, luminscent, floating cloud of jellyfish high in the sky above you distracts you momentarily from your task.
He'd somehow caught up with the jellyfish again. He sat to watch them again, trying to absorb their calm like he had that morning.

4. You become entangled almost hopelessly in a patch of bramble. Either you free yourself, or someone else does. Try again tomorrow.
After a fruitless search, he wandered home in the twilight evening. His foot misstepped though, and he went down into a thicket. When he caught his breath, he found himself unable to get out. He called out for Luck, hoping he was close enough for his mate to hear.

31. You stumble accidentally on what looks like the world's most perfect swimming hole. Maybe you should make yourself some path symbols, so you can find it again--or maybe you should take a dip right now.
After being rescued by his mate, and a restless, aching night's sleep, Traitor's Moon met the next day with winces. Still, he was more determined than ever to accomplish his goal. Luckily, one of the first things he discovered was the most prime soaking area he'd ever seen, and on his own lands. How he had never found it before, he did not know, but now he had it.
He dove in, soaking away his scrapes and punctures. The morning sun was half up before he got out, and as he dried he put up trail markers.
