Hayden Belmont The demon paled at the bluntness. "I can't." he replied simply. "It's, umm, it's part of being a hybrid. There comes some heavy consequences from doing that, believe it or not." he stammered, avoiding actually answering the artist. Deciding to change the subject, he motioned towards the phone. "Who keeps texting you? Must be important, yeah?" he laughed nervously.

"No, it's not," he replied, turning his phone over and turning off the vibration. "What are the consequences, Hayden?" Peter's on the man were suspicious, as if expecting him to lie. Luckily for Hayden, the doorbell rang. Wordlessly, Peter stood to his feet and tugged on a shirt that was just laying around, too big to be his own and a little too small to be Hayden's. It was most likely Darcy's. The teen walked out of the bedroom, leaving Hayden behind as he went to the door. Opening it, the artist immediately brightened at the sight of his blonde friend, leaping into his arms to hug him and smiling. "Darce!" he greeted, letting him go after a minute and tugging him inside by his arm. "Come in, come in! I missed you!" Darcy chuckled and walked inside, looking back to ensure his brother was close behind. "I missed you too, Peter," he replied, turning his gaze back to the beauty on his arm. "I just came by to pick up my things. I figured that now that you and that teacher are reconciled- Wait, is that my shirt?" Peter looked down and fingered the hem of the shirt, blushing. "Can't I keep this one? It's so comfortable," he half-begged, pursing his lips. Darcy rolled his eyes and shook his head, then ruffled the boy's messy bedhead and nodded. "Fine, keep it. But take care of it, okay? I really like that shirt." Nodding excitedly, the teen finally looked to Cary, eyes darting to Darcy quickly. "Why's he here?" "He just wanted to come with me," shrugged Darcy, leaning on a couch and eyes on his brother. "Cary, why don't you say hello?"

Hayden Belmont Cary's temper grew and grew with each second that passed between Darcy and Peter. The Hell was this supposed to be? Wasn't the artist with that teacher? Why was he being so affectionate to his brother and wearing his shirt?! By the time Peter finally acknowledged him, flames were engulfing Cary's infuriated body. He looked to his brother for a second then back to glaring at the artist. As he opened his mouth to offer some kind of greeting, another voice came out. "Oi! Good ta see ya, mate!" Recognizing the Australian accent, Cary turned his head and blushed at the sight of the handsome teacher that was nude, save the pants he was currently buttoning up. "You come all the way to see me?" Hayden smiled when he reached the group. He looked at Darcy only once, and in those few seconds his eyes summed up a large amount of venom and malice, but returned to their goofy kindness when he looked back at Cary. "Glad ta see ya doing better. Oh! You musta come 'cause I didn't feed you, yeah? Alright. I'll cook ya up something while these two chat. C'mere." Grabbing the arm of the twin that was shaking his head vigorously, Hayden smiled widely and dragged him towards the kitchen. Cary Valentine

"Doesn't mean I want him here," mumbled the artist as Hayden entered the room. He stepped forward to stop him from tugging away the other twin, only find his action anticipated by Darcy, whow as holding his brother by the hand. "He's eaten, thank you," said the teen coldly to the teacher, glaring at him openly. "I'm sorry to say that my brother doesn't need you to take care of him anymore." Peter looked between them and, seeing the blatant jealousy directed from his friend to the man he loved, made his own way into the kitchen and started cooking up something to eat. "I've got lunch handled, so why don't you three sit in the living room and try NOT to kill each other?"

Hayden Belmont Seeing the his tug was cut short, Hayden paused and turned around to glared at Darcy, his stare almost as vicious as the demonic glare he had last time. "Bull. Who's going to take care of him? You? Now that's a good joke." he sneered, tugging Cary closer to him. The blonde with glasses pursed his lips as he became a game of tug-o-war between the two men, not sure how to handle this. "Let go of me!" he spat at Hayden, who only smiled down at him when spoken to. The incubus turned his head to look at Peter over his shoulder when he offered to make lunch, and he replied with a shake of his head. "No need! I don't mind!" he called out then resumed giving Darcy a hateful glare. "Besides, this wanka came to see you, di'int he?" Cary Valentine

Darcy nearly growled at the man, only letting go of his sneer until after his brother had yelled at Hayden. Hearing the man's words to Peter, he snapped at him. "I didn't come to see anyone! I came to pick up my clothes from the week I had to stay here and keep your boyfriend from attempting suicide!" The steel-eyed Muse winced at this, touching the sleeve of the shirt unconsciously. "Hayden, do you really need to do this now?" he hissed at him. "Darce, your clothes are in your bag in the guest room." "Thanks, Pete." Darcy left the room for the guest room, smirking to himself that he was permitted one thing that Hayden could never have. He was the only one allowed to call Peter by that awful name he hated.

Hayden Belmont Hearing the nickname he himself never got the privilege of saying, Hayden numbly let go of Cary's arm and turned to look at the artist over his shoulder. "... 'Pete'?" he echoed, turning to fully face him. "How come he gets to call you that? You get pissed when I say that." He narrowed his eyes as he stared at the shirt that was too small to be his but too big to be Peter's. "Is that his? Where did you get that?" he asked while pointing at the cloth. Cary Valentine

"Really? You're getting jealous now?" was Peter's reply, rolling his eyes as he stepped a little closer to Hayden and crossed his arms. "The shirt belongs to Darcy, alright? He left it here when he was staying, and I really like it, so I wear it to bed every now and then. There's nothing to be jealous of." He cringed at the name, though, looking away. There wasn't really an explanation for that, so he chose not to address it. Meanwhile, Darcy had tugged Cary away, holging his arms and looking him over. "Are you okay? He didn't get any gross STDs on you, did he?"

Hayden Belmont "Take it off." was Hayden's only reply. If Peter looked up at his face, he'd see that every sign of goofiness and friendliness was gone. Replacing it was a serious and angered glare - it might've been sexy had he not been so frightening when angry. "I'll buy you a shirt like that, but for now take it off. I don't want to hear let alone see you in another man's shirt, especially because you like it." Managing to free one arm, Cary sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "It doesn't matter, just get your stuff and let's go. The longer I stay here the more I lose my sanity." Cary Valentine

Peter let out a laugh, mostly forced, then furrowed his eyebrows as it faded. "You can't be serious," he scoffed. "Hayden, I'm naked under this! I can't just take it off, right there, right now. Jesus, what's got your green monster so worked up?" Peter genuinely couldn't see what was wrong, having never been in a serious relationship before. Before, it hadn't mattered whose shirt he wore, so long as he got out before the spouse or partner came home. Why was this different with Hayden? "God, I should've just waited until that stupid teacher went to work," he grumbled, grabbing his duffel bag and slinging it over his shoulder. "This is all I've got other than my shirt that Pete's wearing. Let's go."

Hayden Belmont Peter would find that he was the only one laughing, because Hayden showed no signs of even smiling. "You're wearing another man's shirt, Peter." he growled, his voice louder as if to get the message clear. "You literally told me you loved me earlier today, and now you're wearing the shirt of a brat that tried to take you away from me. Take it off. Now." Nodding, Cary walked towards the doorway, keeping close to Darcy as they approached the two. Seeing Hayden angry was something that worried him, especially with the bruise on the side of his head that throbbed each time he saw the teacher. Despite that, though, he could understand Hayden's reason for being angry. It didn't exactly comfort him to see the artist Darcy was captivated by wear a shirt he begged for, but right now he didn't care what anyone was wearing, he just wanted to get out of here. Suddenly, before Cary could get past the two, he felt a rough tug at the back of his coat. He coughed in surprise and stiffened as his white blazer was pulled off his body, and, as he blushed, he turned to see Hayden, who wasn't even paying attention to him, wrap the coat around his waist and tie the sleeves up front, like a belt of sorts. "Fine. If you want to wear someone else's clothes, then I'll do it, too." he said. Cary Valentine

"Hey! Keep your hands to yourself!" shouted Darcy as he reached for his brother's arm to make sure he was still steady before clenching his fists and glaring at Hayden once more. Peter was confused, yet livid. "It's just a shirt! And he didn't try to take me away from you. If anything, you practically handed me to him when you cheated on me!" He was close to exploding, and so angered was the teen that he grabbed the edge of his shirt. "Fine. You want the shirt off, I'll take the f*cking shirt off!" He ripped it upwards, the shirt flying off of the artist's body and landing at Hayden's feet. Wearing nothing but his birthday suit, Peter stood before them all, not even a little embarrassed by his lack of cover. "There, happy?!" Darcy glanced down, blushing and turning away to keep himself from looking and/or gaping at the beautiful nude body of the artist.

Hayden Belmont "Then explain why you're angry about me wearing Cary's coat." Hayden rebutted. Seeing the shirt come off, even seeing how defiantly Peter stood with no clothing on, the incubus still looked cold and angry. Slowly he unfolded the coat and handed it to Cary without looking at the two. "Get out." he commanded the two, his voice laced with icicles of frozen malice. Stiffening at such anger, Cary grabbed both his coat and Darcy's arm and dragged him out of the room. Once the door closed to signify that they were alone, Hayden opened his mouth and said, "Just a shirt." He left it in the air for a seconds, the ticking of nearby clocks the only thing breaking the painful silence. "Just. A shirt." he repeated. He lifted on hand to rub his brows then threw his arm down and yelled, "How can you talk about love one minute then wear another shirt?! Do you know what it's like to see the person you're in love with wear someone else's clothing? Do you have any idea what that feels like?! Have you even been in a relationship before?" Cary Valentine

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way "Pf course, I haven't!" he yelled back, crossing his arms and shifting from foot to foot, the cold starting to get to him. "Up until now, everything's just been about sex. No one's ever actually asked me out before. You're my first boyfriend, so you can't keep yelling at me about things I don't know about! It's not fair!" And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Staring harshly at Peter for a few minutes, Hayden eventually sighed and turned his head, running his fingers through his brown hair. "Yeah, I guess you're right." he admitted before looking at Peter. "But there had to be some part of you that noticed how off it was, right? It can't be just me, here. Haven't you ever read a romance novel or seen a romantic movie? The lovers focus on each other, not someone else. The fact that you got mad at me for wearing Cary's jacket is proof enough."
