"Oh? What a shame... I was so looking forward to a light stroll. And I'd love to see the rabbits too." The Freak looked out the window, where she'd often sit. "I see them out there sometimes, but I've never actually met one up close. They remind me so of Wonderland, I always find myself drifting into daydreams while watching them hop about.""I do say so, so quit that pouting. Smiling suits you much better."

"Those things are not rabbits." Minty said a bit too harshly, "I mean...if you want to see rabbits I'd be happy to take you to a hutch sometime." She backpedaled...she didn't want to see the basement door unlocked anytime soon.

She thought silently for a moment, trying to cope with what had been said. "Are they hares? Or Maras, perhaps? I haven't seen any of those either..." She sensed that they were trying to hide something from her, though she felt unsure as to whether it was for her own good or not. "Perhaps I'll just have to seek out that fuzzy guy that's been hopping around the Guild instead..."Looking at his pouty face made her giggle once more. "Well, for starters, you look a bit like a child who won't get cake before finishing his vegetables." Just the thought of him sitting by the table with a plate full of broccoli somehow seemed so amusing to her, that she burst out laughing. She calmed herself, putting a stray lock of hair back behind her ear as she cleared her throat. "I'm sorry, dear."

Just the thought of him sitting by the table with a plate full of broccoli somehow seemed so amusing to her, that she burst out laughing. She calmed herself, putting a stray lock of hair back behind her ear as she cleared her throat. "I'm sorry, dear." "You wouldn't be so cruel as to deny a dragon his...", he trails off, eyes roaming her body for a moment before he continues, "'Cake', would you?"
