lilythepink-laliho A rush of dark energy surged from the younger boy, making Tsuki's heart beat a little faster, though he wasn't sure if it was from fear or not. He slowly removed his hand. His experiment had worked to make the demonic presence appear again. There was definitely something wrong with his new friend. Could it be possesion? Maybe a demon was controlling him somehow? Or maybe he was a half breed? Tsuki shook his head. No. That couldn't be possible could it. ((I'm going to bed now. Heh heh )) Izumi sighed, knowing what the other was thinking and that it had probably just been a test to try and figure out what he was. It was like some sort of sick game. Angels, demons, no matter what they said about good or evil, they were the same. "It's a terrible crime to associate with demons," the angels would say. The demons would always speak about how demeaning and disgusting it would be to spend time with an angel. But they were the same, always prying and poking. It was like some game where they thought they could mess around with other people's lives. A little trick here, a test there, all to find out what he was. What was he, some insect in a biology lab?! He sighed and turned to the other, a slight frown on his face. "Tell me... did you ever come across an angel by the name of Erielle?"
((His mother... >.>;; She was powerful and had high rank, but spent most of her time in the human world trying to help people... Extremely long blond hair and very blue eyes. Pale skin, very tall. =o Always wore a long, white, bell-sleeved and V-necked dress.))

Erielle. There wasn't a soul in heaven who didn't know that name, and not a soul who spoke of it. But Tsuki refused to believe the terrible crime she had been accused of. He didn't understand why the other suspected angel had mentioned her name. It had caught him completely off guard. "Yes I know Erielle." he stated with a sad look "She was appointed as my tutor when my wings grew. It seems so long ago now, It must have been just before the rebellion of Lucifer. She was truly blessed. It was because of her that I chose to become a guardian. She told me that a guardian is not exclusive to humankind but to all creatures who experience hardship, be it physical or of their own minds. Because everyone has a right to be happy, everyone deserves to be protected."

"Do you know who I am?" he asked. "Wait... let me refrase that... Do you know what I am?" He smiled at the description of his mother. That was very like her. That is, it would have been if Izumi had ever really known her. His only memroies of her were a soft touch, a soothing voice and her kindness. But Erielle's friend had told him much about her before she gave him to the man, who had worked very hard to make sure Izumi understood exactly what his father was and just what kind of slut his mother had been under the surface. Izumi knew better now, but as a child he had beleived the man.

Tsuki rarely ever frowned but this time he had good reason to. His suspiscions were growing to being realised even though he hadn't believed them at first. "Well, if you're asking about Erielle when you don't belong to heaven, and if the rumours were true about her....disapearance...then yes, I think I do know what you are." His gaze travelled from the smaller boy to the sunlight that was now barely breaking through the many layers of grey cloud that had gathered since the joyous weather of the morning. He smiled sadly, "There is something that very few angels are old enough to remember, and those who do, do not want to remember. When God created angels and demons, they were one and the same. Designed to be His servants, his army, sometimes even his advisors. But He also gave us free will, though no one has understood why. Angels are simply those who remained loyal, and demons are those of us who fell because they disagreed with God's will. Hell may have distorted them over the years but fundementally angels and demons are the same thing. So it's no surprise that love can exist between them. That's another thing that Erialle told me. I understand what she meant now."

He smiled at the other, but it was a sad smile. "She died... Sometime after I was born, I think... I don't really remember her much. Nor father. Just Sartskii, a fallen angel. But she died, too..." He spoke quietly, not meeting the other's gaze. "I think that was when I was five..." He paused for a moment, thinking. "So... what was mother like?" he asked, a somewhat whistful expression on his face.

Tsuki smiled again. He saw the similarity now, it was something about how the boy held himself when he stood and the sparkle that still remained in his sad eyes. "She was an inspiration." he said, "We all loved her, she would always take us to Earth, even when it was forbidden. She showed us the remains of Eden so we could learn from its beauty and help people rebuild it on the outside. She was compassionate of humankind even if they are made from good and evil, because she believed that these balencing forces could make you complete as a person. It seems ironic that she chose a demon as her partner, that her son should be made of good and evil. Powers aside, you are practically human." he speculated, more to himself than you his companion.

"So then perhaps all humans began that way and this generation is simply lacking in powers because the blood is so watered down?" he said, a slight questioning tone in his voice. He liked hearing about his mother. But he did seem to be a somewhat unbalanced mix of the two... After all, his mother had light hair, his father dark and he had o sort of middle shade. It was the same for not only all his physical characteristics, but also for many of his other ones both spiritual and personality wise. Before her death, Sartskii had told him a bit about his father. He had a kind heart, that was what had attracted his mother. But he had been forced to hide it and bury it deep within himself. "Do you... know who my father was? Sartkii never could tell me... She only told me of him..."

"Perhaps" said Tsuki "But it's not my place to pretend to know about these things when I clearly do not." he smiled again, his cheeful demeanor returning. "But really, this meeting is far too significant to be mere coincidence. I think I may have been sent to this place for a reason."

He nodded. "'There is no such thing as coincedence, only fate....'" he said softly. "Sorry... that's one thing Mother always said... That's about all I remember of her, really..."

Tsuki giggled and nodded in return. "You really are you're mother's son, aren't you. And I think she would have wanted what I'm about to ask you. Izumi, I would be honoured if you named me your official guardian angel."

He blinked. "Guardian angel...? I- I don't know... What does a guardian angel do?" he asked curiously. He felt rather bad about his lack of knowledge, but no one had ever told him these things and he had never taken up a religion because they all seemed to deviations of the same beleif and to take one would be to foresake the others.

Tsuki blinked at the other boy, thinking of a way to explain. "Well I guess it's like having a spiritual bodyguard. Guardians are usually appointed but those who choose their guardians are bonded more strongly. I would basically protect you from physical and mental harm until you find resolution."

He smiled and could almost see his mother smiling gently at him. "Alright, then..." he said softly, a smile preading across his face. "That sounds... nice."

"Yay!" cried Tsuki and jumped six feet into the air and hovered there for a moment sheepishly before floating down to earth again. "Sorry, I got a little carried away. It's just that the last person I guarded didn't want my help..." he broke off and a flash of sadness passed his deep aquamarine eyes.

"I'm sorry to hear that... What sort of person wouldn't want your help?" He smiled. "I see nothing wrong with it... But I suppose different people have different opinions, no?" He reached forward and held a hand to the other's cheek. "So don't be sad... okay?" He smiled, his miss-matched eyes looking actually happy for the first time since they had met.
