Canopus slipped from his grasp as she not only moved back, but was physically removed from his line of attack. His somber expression twisted into one of anger and irritation. He was really, really sick of some stupid senshi meddling in his battles and since Canopus was no longer close enough, even with his range, he turned his attention to the dark haired senshi stomping his way towards him.
Avior's hand gripped the front of his uniform and the senshi even launched a punch at his throat but Labyrinthite only grinned. He was a much better fighter in close combat. "Big mistake," he snarled as his hand shot out and caught the fist before it could reach it's target. His left hand was still holding on tightly to his weapon and he swung his arm back and threw it forward, aiming at Avior's stomach to put some space between them but his aim was off due to the close quarters.
So he jerked his body back, aiming to force the boy off balance and brought a knee up to intersect.

Remarque heard his name called and turned for just a second; he was torn in that split second to continue moving forward or go back to Canopus. His anger had let him get ahead of himself and it was a mistake to leave her there by herself. She was still too new to be on her own. He nearly turned to return to her before he saw Avior moving to her.
The briefest wave of relief washed over him and he figured they would be safe for at least a moment. He moved to take a step forward—only to be stopped by a senshi. The force of her appearance had him take a step back.
His hands curled into fists but he flashed a dry, forced smile. "We haven't had the pleasure to meet before, little senshi, and I don't really think now is the best time. I'm not going to make a good first impression if I have to introduce myself with my fists. Remove yourself from my presence."

Astarte arrived for one peculiar reason - the Dark Mirror drew a certain wrongness about themselves that attracted her, and she first beheld it on the one senshi with which she arrived - Remarque. In total, the current situation seemingly mirrored her temporary allies in its wrongness. Upon arriving, she witnessed a collective bastardization to the ranks and rivalries so clearly spelled out to her before. So what did this mean? Who was so absolutely wrong about their assessments for who fought who? Now the Negaverse held their own captive, attacked the Dark Mirror, and now the White Moon and Dark Mirror partied... with more Negaverse agents?
Plainly she should've stuck with her theory of demons on differing ranks, with their own personal agendas to fulfill. Clearly it explained this situation far better than the prior explanation of an intergalactic war (as fun as that one was to hear).
The self-ordained demon Astarte had prowled through the surrounding area just prior to her sensing the strange and wondrous signatures of the Dark Mirror Court, which piqued her curiosity to abandon her patrol. With dreams of wraiths thwarted soon abandoned to their nuances, she negotiated her way toward the dilapidated premise only to behold one familiar face from the Dark Mirror and virtually none opposing their ranks. Additionally, sawdust swept around the room after she opened the door; she remembered watching it collect atop her previously spotless boots.
Approaching the sole recognizable figure, Astarte tried to speak to the blonde senshi. However, his focus remained elsewhere as he quickly departed toward a hostage situation (so far as she surmised). In truth, she utterly lacked all sense of what was to go down in this strange meeting place.
Until a host of individuals, Order and Chaos, rained down from the rafters.
Quirking an eyebrow, she pursed her lips in a slight pout. How the hell was she supposed to know who to attack here? Or was this some kind of free for all? Judging by the small bouts of chaos erupting before her, she suspected the latter - and even as she tried desperately to get a grasp on the situation, she watched as a redheaded senshi - one of her purported allies - attacked Remarque. Splendid. Wonderful.
And what had she gotten herself into now?

"Zose words are better meant for ze less ignorant," Bischofite replied in equal snark, his gaze intently focused on Remarque below. Even now, he engaged with the senshi he recognized from the previous meeting - one who very nearly stood up for his misanthropic attitude. How curious, he thought. Is she of similar opinion to me, or does she simply lack the sense to understand when she picked a fight beyond her ability? Gold eyes followed the pair in avid interest until he lost them within the throngs of writhing bodies below. Chaos everywhere, as desired, but somehow it lacked the perplexing madness he would've liked to see.
With a smile, he turned his attentions toward Ganymede dolled up in the typical pretentious presentation of senshi outfits. Yes, she looked much the same as he remembered her - before she reduced his organs to ash in the breadth of a word. "Zen black rain floods ze land. Words meant for zose of... Darker affiliations. Ganymede, do you linger here to irk me, or are you procrastinating in submitting yourself to ze conglomeration below? I could jump wis' you... If you're scared.
"What we're witnessing... It's strange, is it not? All sense of alignment cast aside, wis' ze only marker of true ally or enemy betrayed by a mask. I must admit, wis' all ze sawdust swirling about, ze urge to commit wholesale slaughter srough casting a liter toward ze mess quite overwhelms me. Imagine ze results - warped and scarred Dark Mirror running frantically srough any mirrored surface, agents teleporting out wis' ze weaker ones in tow, and your allies... Lungs seared, blood boiling, skin melting - just like what you cast unto me some time ago. It's almost like everysing is cyclical, is it not?" A mirthless laugh eked out from his not-quite smile.
The chaos in the warehouse was troubling in so many ways that Ida was honestly not sure how to deal with it. She had been fine checking out the DMC they had felt, but this... This was crazy. Negaverse attacking their former allies while senshi, who should have rightly been against them, fought beside them instead.
"Whatever is going on, I can't believe the Negaverse is up to anything good. I don't have any love for the dark mirror, but if I had to pick a side, they would probably be it." She said as she watched the fight unfold, her lips pressed into a line. "I am willing to intervene against the negaverse agents, but I just.... I won't fight another senshi..." There were always limits... Lines you didn't cross. That was one of hers. If the senshi wanted to fight the DMC, fine, but she would always stand against the negaverse just on principle.
"If we're going, we need to do it now. At the very least, maybe we can save some of those first level senshi... I don't understand how they could be involved, but they clearly are." She was not the fighter that Tsui was, but Ida knew she could hold her own with her team beside her.

How much of a coward was she to have to cry for help, not only from her prince but from Avior as well? It was a foolish move on her part to come here and not be prepared. All of that training Chariklo put her through, that fight with the Earth page against that youma. All of it escaped when she found herself in real danger, and it took all of her considerable strength not to want to just fall to the ground and cry.
But she couldn't do that. Avior had come to her rescue and she couldn't squander that chance he had given to her. Now Labyrinthite was trying to hurt Avior and she wouldn't have it. With courage she never thought she'd have, she ran at the him from the side, hoping to push him away and give herself and Avior a chance to escape. Or fight... what would Remarque and Leto want them to do?
"Don't hurt him! Please!"

Galvatronite was somewhere among the chaos, leaping down the moment the order was given and swinging his yo-yo around as though it were a fierce and deadly weapon. He had waited much too long for the chance to prove himself to the White Phoenix and tonight, every Mirror senshi he killed, he'd do it in his name, as well as the Negaverse's honor.
The Negaverse didn't need the Dark Mirror Court! No one did! They all had to die, so that the Negaverse could thrive! He lashed out at one of the Mirror senshi that had drawn close to a Corrupted Eternal with long green hair, not realizing that the senshi was running to her for assistance, and he gave a shout towards the Eternal, confused as to why she had not been taking better care of herself in this fight.
"You! We are to eradicate them, immediately! Obey White Phoenix's orders!"

When it came time for assignments, Zircon had been quick to volunteer herself to the sawdust squad, high in the rafters and safe from any wandering senshi magic. She herself was still quite a bit shaken following the proceedings of their first meeting, and knowing that there was a good bit of distance between herself and Bischofite was the only thing that seemed to keep her palpitating heart from outright exploding. She'd since bought herself a replacement mask, stark white and featureless, but this time she went with a rubbery material, something that had a little bit more give. You know, in case there were any crazed windows around.
Crouched between two supporting beams, the lieutenant nestled a bag of sawdust in her lap, watching events unfold below. At first, there had been nothing but stagnant quiet, which had chewed at her sensibilities and left her hands softly shaking in anticipation of what was to come. She thought that once the Mirror Senshi arrived, once chaos broke out, that she would come to her senses and that the adrenaline would make her more excited for the battle. However, Buddingtonite's war cry did nothing but chill her to the bone, and it was with grim determination that she set to work, gutting her bag of sawdust and spilling its contents upon the ruckus below. The thick wooden smell caused the lieutenant to cough under her breath, but she had to imagine it was worse down below, where the stuff billowed like thick clouds, kicked up by the cacophony of magic and melee. She watched as Wolframite claimed the first starseed of the battle, and with one sight of the gleaming jewel she began to feel a pit of jealousy deep in her chest. It had been so long since the Negaverse had authorized such harvesting, and the withdrawal from it burned in her veins, making her fingertips itch.
Zircon had never before tasted a senshi's starseed. She had to take the chance to get one.
With narrowed eyes, Zircon scanned the battlefield, looking for an opportune moment to strike. It didn't take her long to find the shock of pink hair that represented Labyrinthite, in a tussle with a pair of black feathery wings on the ground below. It didn't seem fair that the dear Captain had to take on an Eternal all by himself, and so with a single motion she freed herself from the rafters above and released her grip, pummeling down to the battlefield. Her landing behind Avior was met with a poof of sawdust, thrown up by her entrance, but she'd had the foresight to hold her breath beforehand, letting the dust coil around her like wisps of smoke.
Her initial target was the Eternal, but she paused for the cry of Canopus. The girl had no place on a battlefield, with all her mewlings, but it made her perfect for easy pickings. Unfurling from her crouch, Zircon eyed the mirror senshi from behind her blank mask. "I would worry more about yourself," the lieutenant sneered, kicking up dust as she lunged straight for the girl's chest. There would be no games in this fight: the sooner she incapacitated the little dove, the sooner she could set her sights on bigger prey.

Tantalus let out a breath of relief when Europa went chasing after his apple, and resumed running towards Damocles. He practically slid the last few feet, eyes wide and panic in his face. At least the hostage-takers were distracted with the overall battle, and he had time to worry about getting Damocles free.
"Aww, darlin', don't you know? Fists are my favorite way to chat," Penthesilea laughed. She couldn't lie, she was pleased that it was Damocles taken hostage. "I've said hello to plenty of your little Senshi that way." And then she shifted, swinging her fist at Remarque's face. She would be damn proud of herself if she could take out an Eternal.
Persephone had dove eagerly into the chaos of battle, attacking Order and Chaos alike if they threatened the Dark Mirror Senshi gathered there. Her boots were more effective than her fists, all things considered. As she worked her way through, she spotted two very familiar faces - Tsui and Ida, Order senshi she had once known. She whistled, an effort to get their attention, if only briefly.
However, a remarkably authoritative voice caught her attention, and she felt an upswell of anger. She spun to face the Lieutenant who had dared assume to order her around. Her eyes narrowed, and then, suddenly, a smile appeared on her face. It was not an expression she was accustomed to making, not really.
"Oh, you poor, misguided child," she said, approaching him. "You don't understand anything at all, do you? My god, and I thought Order was full of idiots." She let out a breath.
"I'm no ally of the traitor who calls himself White Phoenix - which means, dear, foolish Lieutenant, I am no ally of yours."
Lieutenant Turquoise had been watching the situation below her silently. While she knew nearly nothing of the history of events that had led to this, not speaking of experiencing them, she knew something about ruthless senshi that had been tortured agents of Negaverse in the past. And while she had no personal vendetta against them who she was to say no when the general asked her help in the battle against them. In the opposition meeting general Bischofite had showed quite an example of what could happen if a lieutenant spoke against general. Not that she was afraid but rebelling wouldn't have been wise. Besides, Buddingtonite had promised to cover her back if anything would happen.
She was wearing a matching mardi gras-themed cat mask which the general had insisted them to wear. Along with this, she was wearing waterproof glimmering turquoise eye liner and mascara and a decorative hair accessories kept her luxurious, turquoise-colored hair up on ballerina bun. If they were going to wear a disguise, they better make some effort with it.
When the signal came, she was ready to jump down from the rafter but the sudden voice halted her. She rose her head, finding general Bischofite. Quietly she watched him summoning his chakrams which he put on the rafter near her, offering them to her. Really? She had tought he didn't think her enough worthy to wear them. And now he had changed his mind? Was he serious? Had she been serious when she had made her offer? Yes, but now that the offer was real, she felt a little nervous. She had got no training whatsoever with them and going straight into the big fight like this with deadly weapons like this was downnight dangerous. But still, she didn't want to them to get in hands of wrong side. And maybe she could handle them like she promised. It kinda felt comforting to have such powerful weapons with her as well. So, her hands moved towards chakrams and she picked them up. Hmm, they were lighter than she thought. She was just about to say a polite thank you but he had already teleported away before the lieutenant could even open her mouth.
She jumped down from the rafter, hands on her side, holding chakrams firmly on her hands. Her landing was not as perfect as she had hoped it to be but she managed to stay on her feet. Serious eyes glanced around surrounding battlefield. It reminded her a little of the chaos that had been present when the battle in the Surrounding had happened, when she had died. A cold shiver ran across her body as the mental image flashed in her mind but her focus on the battle quickly returned as she remembered where she was and what she was about to do. Her first concern was to find Buddingtonite and protect him at any cost. Nothing else mattered right now.

The apple vanished, because, of course it did. Europa had at least strongly suspected the whole time that it wasn't a real apple, because hallucinatory attacks were something of her specialty - the only matter that had ever really been in question for her was whether it would disappear when the attack wore off, or if it would explode. She'd expected the first, because, well, basic senshi magic - but the latter would have been interesting.
She still couldn't see a good path to Leto in this crowd - but she could see the senshi who'd sent her on that wild apple chase in the first place. Europa ducked behind a familiar lieutenant in pursuit of the senshi, and when she caught up to him, she grabbed his ponytail and yanked.
"Leaving so soon?" she asked him. This felt cruel, but - this was what she'd signed up for. The DMC was a parasitic blight on the universe. And if he'd thrown his lot in with them, then he'd fall with them. "Aren't you enjoying our party?"
Somehow Sessrumnir found himself caught up in a battle where Chaos fought Chaos and senshi and knights were caught in between, their lives being thrown away for things they had no way of understanding. No one understood what was really going on around them and if anyone claimed they did, they were more ignorant than the rest.
The knight of Jupiter stayed in the rafters, watching the fight below as past allies fought each other, and others showed their true colors. A large vial of strange, clear liquid balanced on his palm that he held out just in front of him, watching… waiting.
He had no intention of seeking out a fight. He had enough ghosts to worry about as it was. Instead he sought to maybe keep a senshi or knight or two alive. The Negaverse and DMC could kill themselves off for all he cared.
Sessrumnir set the stormglass down for a moment as he pulled out the note he’d pre-written, pressing the flat edge of his signet ring to the surface and watching as it disappeared into thin air. Whether or not he would regret his decision… it was too soon to tell, but he also knew he would regret not doing it.

“My jumping has less to do with fear and more to do with not particularly caring one way or the other how this ends,” Ganymede said.
She chose not to comment on his translation. Darker affiliations, indeed. In the end it meant little to her, except that he was crazy and evil and she'd like to be standing further away from him than she currently was. There weren't too many places for her to go, of course. The rafters didn't offer much room for meandering. Besides, they were supposed to be working together at the moment, a prospect she was still attempting to stomach.
It wouldn't last. Not beyond tonight. Somehow she doubted it'd even last the length of the battle. She trusted Bischofite less than she trusted anyone else here, and she knew that lack of trust wasn't unwarranted.
“I think we've already talked about what'll happen if you do anything to hurt anyone but the Dark Mirror Senshi,” she said. Hers was not the most threatening voice. In fact, it was likely obvious that he made her rather uncomfortable, but she was proud that she sounded like she meant it. “If you want that seared lung, boiled blood, melted skin feeling again, be my guest. We've faced worse than you and a little fire.”
It was an empty sentiment in that Ganymede didn't think she had faced worse.
“As for that leap of faith, I think I'll pass. I'm not much for this sort of thing,” she said, and waved a hand at the battle being waged below them. “Let them all take each other out. Less I have to deal with in the end. I know people who want to see you dead,” she added, an afterthought that sneaked through her better judgement. “I have half a mind to let it happen.”

Zirconia would have spent some time reflecting on why she had shown up after great insistence that she wouldn't, but the chaos of battle was a hard thing to contend with for attention.
She found herself fighting sawdust and attempting to slink in the shadows. Watch, observe, see things come to bloody fruition; Normal cat things.
She was hoping for another glimpse of something she had seen just briefly before, but was still a touch conflicted on the train of thought that in the thick of war was the best place to look. She didn't have much time to think as she heard Wolframite shout her name and he had her attention long enough for her to shift forms and grab the little, glimmering thing he had tossed to her.
Before she registered what it was, she held it close and glared at him for the surprise. After that moment, though, she stopped and looked down at it in her hands. A starseed. A Dark Mirror starseed. She didn't have to see the body it had been ripped from, it was clear enough from the aura and the low, drawing hum that was almost intoxicating to her senses as a mirror user herself.
Grabbing it and absconding from the carnage to the rafters, she was a full feline again for the climb and to delicately hold it in her paws.
The starseed was distinctly different. There was no light coming from within, and the energy it projected was purely mirror aura. The entire little object was coated in a reflective mirrorlike substance and when she lightly touched it to test its mirror properties, it rippled like quicksilver and without her magical influence it hardened again in a solid coating over the starseed, completely blocking the normal light and energy that a senshi's starseed usually glowed with.
Dark mirror starseeds were different, in a very visible way if you stopped to observe more than the simple shape and weight.
Suddenly she was humanoid again, taking advantage of her perch on the rafters.
"Officers!" She shouted as loud as possible into the battle, trying not to sound too gleeful at the development, "Find me if you live! I will be trading favors, information, and trips through mirrors for anyone who brings me a reflective starseed!"
It needed more research, by far.
She just had no idea every Dark Mirror Senshi's starseed was coated in the reflective substance.
Attention!
Dark Mirror Starseeds are not normal! Instead of glowing with the senshi's light, they are coated in a reflective mirror-like substance! Zirconia is encouraging all officers to collect as many as possible for further research.
All dark mirror starseeds have this quality!

Tantalus had been quite convinced he'd dealt with the Eternal who had first gotten in his way, sent her on a wild goose chase that would lead her elsewhere and, quite hopefully, make her someone else's problem. When he felt a hand grab his ponytail, he let out a very undignified yelp, stumbling backwards into her. However, much like when Chariklo had tried to take him off his feet in their practice battle, he came at her ready, elbow extended in the hopes of driving it into her gut.
"Let me go," he snarled, "I have more important things to worry about than you and whatever ridiculous vendetta you have against my Court!"
The knee came hard onto Avior's stomach, and it took a moment to stablize himself again before he could respond. Upon hearing Canopus come to his rescue, he took a quick step backwards, giving Labyrinthite a kicks away from his friend, and attempting to force him to the ground by putting pressure on the back of his knee, and grabbing at that ridiculous puff of pink on his head.
Damnit! Another one! And this time. Avior abandoned his attack on Labyrinthite, calling out his Eternal attack on Zircon before she could manage to get to Canopus. Hopefully, though he only held the attack for a few second, the woman within would be disoriented long enough to allow them to escape.
He let his hands fall down, releacing Zircon and immediately smashed the ground near his feet, his invisible wall hopefully buying them more time to escape.
"Canopus!" It didn't matter about the other Dark Mirror Senshi at the moment. Yes, they were family, yes, they were to be protected, but he KNEW Canopus. He LOVED Canopus more than any other friend he had made since he became such a mess! Avior spared Remarque a quick glance before grabbing her arm again. There just wasn't enough time for them to keep fighting! How could they keep going like this?! It wasn't just the Negaverse that was after them, but the White Moon court as well! Everyone hated them! Everyone wanted them dead! His hands gripped tighter on Canopus' arm, his arms entirely around her.
"We have to go!"

You've pissed Avior off, and now it's time to get you back! He puts his forefingers and thumbs together, like so forming a box shape, and around you springs four magical walls and a ceiling that encases you like a box with no opening. The walls that spring around you are dark on the inside, though from the outside, you are visible, and as Avior watches you, he moves his fingers closer and closer together, causing the walls to squeeze his enemy tighter. It will close as tightly as it can around a person, without causing any damage, and fully restricts the enemy from moving. It non-lethal, and more of a psychological scare, though it can cause soreness from potential awkward positions that one might be trapped in or from the struggle against the walls themselves.
The attack lasts for 30 seconds, as long as Avior keeps his eyes on you. If eye contact with his box is broken, or hands come apart, the box vanishes instantly. This attack also leaves Avior winded, as for the whole 30 seconds, he holds his breath, as if to concentrate on keeping the enemy trapped is the only thing that matters. It can be used only twice per battle. ]
