Apparently, as one of her fellow companions in confusions inquiries went ignored, they wouldn't be getting any answers. Rather, the door skittered open for half a second. Enough time to make noise before slamming shut again. And for the display... they got a box of granola and... water. Water to share apparently. Fabulous.
She let out an audible 'harumph' before glancing at the other person who'd only finished waking up. "Very. At least my friends stuck around. this guy seems to think we're diseased or something." She picked up one of the granola bars and stared at it a bit before chucking it to give a little thud on the door. "HEY! My sister said not to eat food strangers gave me!" As if she was going to just eat food that someone that wouldn't answer them gave them. "Maybe if you weren't hiding behind there we'd listen!" Honestly, what were they going to do? It's not like she was prone to hitting people. Talking would answer their questions and solve this huge problem. Actually it seemed like they all just wanted out of the room they'd been napping in.
"We've been i here a while, isn't some fresh air due!" Actually, she quite liked the idea of going outside. You know, regardless of the whole 'one bottle of water' issue and whatnot. And a proper snack would have been nice. But more so pressing was the matter of going out and doing something. Anything. Stretching her legs and whatnot. She might have been in here a while, who knew?

Joy didn't know whether to laugh at or try to comfort Lydia. On the one hand, the woman's antics broke the tension for her, on the other, maybe this was just how she dealt with stress? Some people lashed out, some people withdrew, and apparently some people acted like they were on a perpetual sugar-high. Good to know.
There were more joining ******** and the woman outside the door was making herself a persona non grata. Even with the hastily shoved in granola bars and the bottle of water, Joy wasn't in the mood to eat or drink. She was, however, feeling antsy being locked up in a room and her body was begging her to do something. Preferably not stupid or rash, like start a fight to get the attention of the people outside.
"Apart from being kept in the dark and realizing we've been Rip Van Wrinkling it away for who knows ******** long, is anyone hurt? Like bleeding and stuff? Maybe you concussed when you fell out of the pods?" Joy asked.

Can Joy recognize Wyatt's accent? She was there in the replica room to witness Robert killing him
Andy glowered at the box and water, looked around and noted the number of people: no, that wouldn't be enough for them and as one female was saying (loudly)...they were due for some fresh air. The girl was right.
"But we're not. At least, I don't feel diseased, just very stiff. Sheesh, they could at least tell us what's going on." Which made him want to do something, like Jordy would have!
So he stomped over to the door and kicked it hard enough to make it bounce a little. "HEY. That's not enough water! Let us out!" But then he thought better of it, chewing at the inside of his cheek slightly - there was a reason they weren't being let out...because they had woken up when they weren't supposed to?
"I don't know about the rest of you, but I was told I'd be fighting monsters, not sleeping forever in a damned tube." Part of this was direct at the door, which received another kick for good measure. "Clearly we weren't supposed to be up right now...so something has to have happened."
Withholding another kick, Andy picked up the thrown granola bar and looked it over thoughtfully. "Hey, you - on the other side of the door! What's going on? You can at least tell us that, can't you?"

March? Just how long had he been out for? More and more fellow captives appeared with each passing second, each apparently here for different amounts of time. He was ready to fight his way out of here if he had to, but it didn't seem that resorting to violence was going to help him yet. Everyone here seemed to be in the same situation, and anyone whose face he wanted to pummel in was on the other side of that door.
The door opened and closed before Wyatt had the chance to take action, and some strange granola bars and just one bottle of water was left for all of them.
"Thanks a lot," he rolled his eyes. "How about a beer if you're gonna lock us in here, huh?"
"Goddamn bitches need to learn some ********' courtesy," he bitched under his breath before speaking up again with a plan in mind. "What do we gotta do if we need ta s**t? Can't ya take me to a toilet or something?"
Wyatt let out a little fart as a small warning of what could come if he wasn't allowed to leave.
"Yes, well," commented a smooth, masculine voice as the door opened once again, a feminine squeak sounding outside, "...the ability to explain does not indicate a desire to do so, you understand?" The man who walked in was tall and swarthy, dressed in slacks and a black sweater. There was a rough cast to his features and a scar over one eye, and a first glance he seemed a likely criminal sort. His voice, however, was well educated.
The man cast a superior glance over the lot of them, "Now do be quiet a moment, because you have no answers that I seek and won't ask the correct questions of me in turn. I am Dr. H and these are my labs. You were all potential Hunters and went through a testing process where the only way to succeed is to wake up, having initiated the process we call bonding. You've finally," he stressed this, disappointment heavily implied, "completed one part, but have failed the other. Which makes you freaks of a sort."
Turning he snapped his fingers, "Kelly, do stop with the pathetic histrionics and take down their names and details as we walk." Returning his attention to those gathered, he called out, "Come along goslings, follow Daddy."
With that he left, door open wide, and Kelly trying to both usher them along behind him in an orderly fashion while taking down their names and information.

"Classy.." Cee rolled her eyes at the farting guy. While they were bitching and yelling she'd been looking at her distorted reflection in a curved reflective panel on one of the pods. She touched her cheeks and pursed her lips and momentarily patted herself down when she realized that nowhere in her clingy shirt-dress was there a clutch of makeup. She'd yet to hear anything from these strangers that was of any value.
She felt like she must have been in her pod for a while. Cee had a hard time remembering when she'd exactly made this arrangement, thought she did remember it. She had a vague dream at some point in between, with kingdoms and colors, but it was obvious she'd just been asleep a while. The bonus was that she felt fully intact, all of her ample assets were still in place and her makeup had only gotten a bit crusty.
By the time the doctor had appeared Cee was satisfied enough with her appearance to meet him. She smiled slowly, unable to deny the attraction of tall-dark-and-mysterious, and only shifted imperceptibly to push out her important parts. He seemed like someone she'd want to know, in one way or other.
"I got no problem with that," She sucked her teeth and her brows lifted, "Daddy."
It was him. All else had become white noise in the background. Lydia stared at the ruggedly handsome wolf of a man with what would have been wide eyes, except that she had to squint to make him out properly.
"Oh. Ohhhhhh it's you. It's really you." Her voice was suddenly quite breathy.
"I think....I'm going to...."
Lydia swooned. And then she collapsed to the floor.

He glanced around in uncertainty at what was said. Potential… hunters? Great thing to hear from a scared man with a creepily educated accent telling them that they were freaks… Plus now he had almost been trapped in a room with farts and a man demanding beer. It was kind of like work, except he doubted he was being paid for any ‘over time’.
“Ah… thank you…Kelly for the granola bars?” He said assuming in a confused moment that she was the one who had, in a panic shoved the food and water in before slamming the door.
“What is bonding please, that’s got to be a good question…right?” He asked anxiously.
Not that it stopped him from asking the next horror movie question on his mind.
“… Are you going to um, eliminate us because we’re freaks?” He asked cautiously. Yeah starting a panic was a bad idea, but sometimes he just said things without really being able to stop himself.
He started to say something more but stood awkwardly unsure of what to do with the woman who had just...fainted in apparent joy.
Cee stepped over the shabby looking woman with an audible clicking of the tongue.

Cee got a toothy smile in return.
Kelly blushed and flustered but then remembered that these were practically zombies. Instead she just made a small squeaking sound at Zach before writing down his information and scurrying to the next person.
"Bonding," the doctor drawled hands gesturing grandly, "...is when you become whole, and better than a standard human. You become stronger, healthier, and more durable. Do be careful around the island, my dear, it's built for those more able to handle its unique conditions." The question of elimination hand him turning has he walked and smiling even more widely. "That remains to be seen, but it's unlikely."
Noting Lydia's situation, H gestured to one of the arriving techs and then to the girl on the ground. "Do pick that up, we're late enough as it is."
"May not be classy, but least I ain't callin some creeper my daddy," he shot back to Cee. And then Lydia fainted in an overjoyed swoon. Women. Sometimes he was relieved to be the strictly dickly sort.
Apparently Wyatt was some kind of freak, meanwhile this Dr. H guy had put them in a labs against their will, talking about bondage and asking people to call him daddy. Or bonding? Apparently he had misheard. And what was the talk about hunters? Maybe this isn't a sex dungeon. Wyatt was starting to catch up to speed. Maybe.
"So if we failed this little test of yours does that mean we're free to go or do we have to take the test again?" he asked. The thought of the latter wasn't particularly appealing - he didn't know what the test entailed, but it seemed to involve those pods and maybe whatever happened in Wonderland.

"I am NOT diseased." Was her retort to it, one foot being stomped on the ground more like a child having a tantrum than the young adult she should have been. "They're the weird ones, we agreed!" Though he complaints were short lived when there was a noise, and a-
"EW GROSS!" She lifted a hand to pinch her nose, glaring at Wyatt. "That is disgusting! Take it somewhere we don't have to put up with it!" Not like he had much of a choice, but honestly... why did they have to be punished for this disgusting excuse of a man? Icky.
Thankfully, she didn't have long to put up with it. The door swung open shortly after and in strode a new fellow. One that seemed a mix of what he should have been. Calm collected tone, an appearance that screamed he was a wild man. Yet his clothing choice once against dictated otherwise. He got a pout at the first words out of his mouth. "Well if you're going to lock people up you should want to!" Astrid stated rather soundly, crossing her arms as she waited to listen.
At least the door was open. She wouldn't throw another bar at it.
A Doctor apparently, and certain they were all too brain dead to ask or give anything useful. How nice. "Jerk..." It was uttered under her breath as she let him keep talking. Something about hunters, of what she wasn't sure. And.... not doing this bonding thing? Yeah, people said she wasn't very good at bonding with other people. Maybe that's what he was talking about? Either way, he called her a freak. "It's not the first time I've been called that." She quickly added, trying to show she didn't mind it. Though she hated being told she was essentially clueless to say anything useful.
Then the snap pulled her out of thought again, dragging her attention. They were being beckoned out. And while did didn't particularly like this guy, she was all for OUT. "You are so not a daddy figure. Use something fitting." She added, following after, though she did pause as the older woman collapsed shortly after his arrival. "Lady needed her nap I guess?" Nope, she wasn't above stepping past either.
He had answers. She wanted them. If an older lady needed a rest well... she wasn't getting locked back in because of it. Then came the mention of bonding. "I was healthy to begin with." Though he had mentioned stronger, so... hmmn. Still, she wasn't going to miss this bit even as some techs were told to grab the information. And Kelly? Well she got a quick response when it was her turn to give information. Only because it meant getting out for now.

Xi trailed in the back and just listened to this field trip tirade with the room full of monkeys. Her eyes kept on trailing back behind her, as if expecting some sort of candid camera moment or some sort of flaw that she could pick out and explain 'Aha! as expected'
Thankfully this effectively caused her to tune out the whole speech about bonding otherwise there would have been a lot of comments about questionable comparisons here. "I don't remember signing any consent form for this." This was muttered, and she kept on turning back towards where they left in hopes it had more answers. That guy forefronting this whole venture must have taken acting; she wasn't too sure if she was supposed to take this seriously.

"Actually," the doctor's called cheerfully over several complaints, "...you did. Sign a consent form, that is. Next time read the fine print, hmmm?"

Melody looked a bit surprised that anyone was actually joining them after they had been called zombies. In fact, she looked deep in search of the signs that it may have even been true. Missing all that time in a sleep? It seemed fairly true. Even more as the so-called doctor began to talk about their incompleteness.
She looked down at herself, one piece, she nodded with approval at her state. All the parts in their right places. But then he continued and though she seemed disinterested she was still listening. His condescension was duly noted and not favoured despite the reactions of a few... well.
She lifted her skirt and stepped over the body.
Bonding sounded interesting but for now she kept silent. Watching everyone with a concealed suspicion.
