She couldn't find any words to express herself at this point in time so she settled for a smile and a nod as she gave his torso a little squeeze to try to reassure him that all was well with her.

< To WalkingMeatShield: Okie. Um... sorry about that. >

She tried to give a little shrug to indicate that it was not a big deal to her. To try to tell herself that she hadn't just cried over a boil like him. Sliding off his lap, she shuffled her feet a little, looking somewhat coy now as she innocently stretched a hand out to him.

"... shall we go then..?"

Meat nodded and stood, taking her hand with a smile and bowing his head. "Lead the way," He chuckled, not really caring where she would take him - just that they went somewhere that got her mind off how much of a sorry sack of nothing he was.

It wasn't fair to her, to be saddled with that. He really should have kept his mouth shut... But all the same, he was glad there was someone who was willing to listen.

He even managed to say things he'd never dream of telling his sister.

Yeah - this ghoul was special.

Special enough to die for...

He smiled at her brightly and let her lead him out of the Tavern.

Entirely oblivious to the thoughts that were going through the mind of the boil whose hand hers was in, SugarPuss smiled softly at him and nodded. This was kind of unexpected. The feeling of joy and contentment at being with another while being hopeful that he too felt the same way with her. Was this how loving someone and being loved in return was supposed to be like?

This was an unknown territory to her as much as him but she somehow knew deep down that no matter how things turned out eventually between them, he had touched her in a way that no other boil had and he would hold a special place in her heart for as long as she lived.

For the very first time in her life, she had something to look forward to in the future and she was grateful to him for that.
