Taking the Cure (potion)Scrambling around trying to find some way out of the forest he spotted a fork. Seeing a potion he immediately dove that way, scooping up the drink and downing it. "OH MY GOD THANK YOU." He didn't feel fine but he at least felt better than before. He kept running as fast as he could ans let out a light yip of a whine as he felt teeth graze his tail. He'd have to check to make sure it was all there later, but he finally reached the edge of the woods and only slowed when he heard the thing turn away, panting as he stood there.
As he stood there panting he heard the blip of a quest being successfully done from the little pocket device, picking it up to find that it now showed two levels higher, and three new pieces of loot! Cards and... OH A SPECIAL THING FOR HIS CLASS! Cool! It definitely seemed like it'd be helpful in the future... hopefully. Maybe?

They didn't dare look back, though they could clearly hear the footsteps of the creature behind them. Nopenopenope! No stopping them from fleeing to the other end of this map, not even if they could clearly hear the voices of their family behind them.
Their eyes don't lie, there's only an invisible creature of doom ready to kill them the moment they stop. Stopping is not an option. There was a horrific silence about the woods. Something wasn't right. Dotdotdot was torn between running with the other small creatures and standing frozen in place.
However, "being completely still in one place" was no longer an option when a large shadow was cast over dotdotdot. Whatever it was had taken bitten off a huge chunk of her HP. WarQueen couldn't help but stare in awe at the monstrous creature that revealed itself from out of the trees. Maybe that's why she got attacked so easily, her reverence displayed clearly upon a grey streaked face before sharp jaws closed on her, shocking her out if her silent appreciation. Woops. Maybe it was time to actually move, since she was fairly certain she would not be able to defeat such power. Her card announced that her HP was at 5 (whatever that meant), and it seemed that at this time perhaps it was only prudent to run. So that's what she did. His boots slammed against the earth, body moving as fast as he could push it. The sounds of the Jabberwocky faded behind him, yet he did not slow. If he thought for a moment he was safe now, surely that'd trigger the beast to come take another massive snap at him. And likely relieve him of the precious few health points he had left.
The only sounds that met his ears were the footsteps--his own, and the creature's. And yet.... something else came to him. Whispers. Shouts. Cheers..? He couldn't place them. Wanted to. A few of them made his head hurt. Ache in a way he couldn't explain. A part of him.... wanted to look. See if he could find the source of the disembodied voices.
He almost did. Slowed, just enough. Almost turned his head. Till he steeled himself to the voices and sped up, keeping his eyes straight ahead of him. He had to get away.

He came to a fork in the road. He saw a healing potion and a second chance timer. He went for the timer, veering towards it and grabbing it quick. It was just a game. It was just a game. She had been snapped at again, but it had been avoided, her only pains coming from the debris that fell around her. It was bizarre still, to only run when she could have flown instead had this not been a dream world. After a bit of running it was quiet, so she began to slow, but not stop no. It would have been foolish to stop! But then a voice. WarQueen would not have boasted many friends, but this particular voice belonged to one and it made her pause, her stride slowing to a stop after some time and thought. She turned, expecting to see her dear friend. That had been a mistake. Sobbing and stumbling, she finally burst out into a clearing, and fell to her knees. After crying for a few minutes, sweetm00n stood up unsteadily, wiping her face, and shakily continued onwards.
