Tatsuya walked along slowly looking at the barren wasteland. The small light breeze kicked up dust that swirled in the air. As he looked back forward to keep an eye on where he was going, his eyes caught the brief flicker of light. When Leo grabbed his shoulder he glanced at him with disinterest. "Yes I.." He said though his words were cut off by Mika's shout that rang through his ears. He winced and cringed away from her shout and placed an hand over his ear. He was able to muffle half of her second shout. If it weren't for the arms, he'd probably had crouched down as well. However, with Leo gripping his shoulder and Mika's arms around him he was stuck standing. Why...why me? Tatsuya thought as his eyes glanced up towards the sky seeking an answer and begging to know why and what he had done. Only a high pitched ringing answered him in his ear.

Leo released his grip and snapped back, he felt the presence of the cazadors and unleashed his sword from its belted position. The cook spoke and Leo countered. “Yep,” he said as he gritted his teeth. Leo stood with his sword unsheathed waiting for the cazadors to get close enough so he could strike.

Tatsuya breathed a sigh of relief as they moved away from him. Even with the mutants coming towards them he felt better without them crowding him. Swinging off his rifle, he moved back a few steps and dropped down to a crouch. He picked one and lined up. Unlike Mika, he paused a moment and took in the movements of the Cazador he was aimed at. Knowing that he'd probably never get a head shot without more time or practice he took aim at the torso. A quick bolt of red energy shot out with a high pitched noise as he fired. Hitting it a little low it shifted and flew more wilder.

With a large amount of ammo, Tatsuya probably would've fired more and tried to bring it down. However with the limited amount of ammo he had he watched it and it was a couple of long seconds before he fired again at the same one. Counting on the others to watch his back, he kept his eyes on the one he was aimed at and after another few shots it fell with burned marks and steam raising from the body. Almost half of his shots did miss, but he did move slower and took a moment to aim. It was the odd movement of the Cazador that really threw off his aim, but he'd have to get use to it.

Leo dawned a torch and dropped it quick for temporary light, he felt the warm entity at his legs and watched as others fired their bullets. However his line of defense was much different. Pulling another sword he grunted as he lodged one into the closest Cazador which happened to be close to Skye, putrid fluids oozing from the dead corpse, he backed up just in case there was an unexpected reaction. Suddenly he went into a trance and thought of his past. Leo walked through a rickety door and entered the balcony that was draped and imprinted with the american flag, he was not ready to give his speech although it needed to be done. He tapped the microphone which had been hooked up to the broadcasting station so almost everyone who had signal in the wastes could hear the infamous leader of the new america. "We are patriots," His vision was soon cut off by a Cazador which flew past him but was no chance for Leo, he ducked and it attempted to dart past, he slashed out.

Tatsuya looked around for any more but there weren't any that he could see. Thinking slowly he thought about how many shots he had left with the current clip that was in his rifle as he slung it back up on to his shoulder. Six shots is how many he fired, and he missed about 3 times. That was still good, but he didn't like the thought that he was wasting ammo. He looked over at Skye who was curled into a ball. Sighing softly he went over to her and nudged her foot with his. "They're gone now. Its over." He told her slowly.

Leo scrunched up his face into a smile and walked over to the cook gesturing a handshake. "My name is, Leo Ganon. I presume you are the cook? Leo threw his hands up and spoke. "Let's eat!"

Tensing when she yelped, Tatsuya crouched down and asked, "Something wrong? Are you okay?" He knew that the questions were a little simple but he didn't know her well enough to really know if something was wrong. Also, he didn't know that much about medicine or healing. The down side was that fact that she was the medic. Since he only fired six shots, he didn't have to reload due to the fact that the clip held 24 shots. With the current clip he still had 18 more shots. He had heard the others talking about eating and cooking. However he wanted to make sure that Skye was okay first.
