Corbin nodded. "Nice to meet you Lenore, Sheoldred, and Urabrask." He said, "I have another pokemon but it appears I lost him..... nah I'm kidding. He's resting in his ball. Had to get him healed earlier." He paused to look around. "So what brings a kid out here?" He asked standing up finally.
Valkryie snorted at Sheoldred. "Right I did beat you. Whipped you pretty good too. Got a problem with that?" She snapped, "Pity you?! HA! If you're too weak to beat me then you don't deserve pity." She then turned away from Sheoldred to look at Corbin. "What a horrible sense of humor." She sighed and walked over to him. When she was close enough she punched him in the leg making him stagger. "Mieeeennnnn." She then touched the pokeball that was on his waist releasing his other pokemon.
Aaron appeared in a flash of red and looked around. He spotted the other person and pokemon. He squeaked and hid behind Valkyrie. "Lllluuuu!"

Lenore quickly retrieved Sheoldred's pokeball as the pokemon grew increasingly agitated. She wasn't sure what was going on, but she figured she should probably return the metapod before anything happened.
"Weak? Weak?" The blood burst from Sheoldred and began flying at the meinfoo before she was engulfed in a red glow and returned to her pokeball, the blood falling short of its target. Urabrask shook his head. "Foolish."
Lenore turned back to Corbin, pocketing the metapod's pokeball. "I was letting them fight wild pokemon to get stronger." The girl looked at the Riolu and tilted her head. "I've never seen that kind of pokemon before - do they normally come with hats?"

Valkyrie looked back at Aaron who was hiding behind her. Really? God the kid drove her nuts. She then turned back to Sheoldred and pushed Aaron back. She was ready for a fight to happen but then the Metapod disappeared. She looked at Urabrask for a moment and then ignored him.
Corbin shook his head and gave Valkyrie a small bop on the head. "Sorry about that. I'm sure she did something to irritate your Metapod." He said with a laugh, "I see. Training out in the woods. And Aaron here is just a regular Riolu. His previous trainer, one of my sisters, gave him the hat. He wears it all the time now."
Aaron's eyes grew wide at the blood attack that fell short of Valkyrie. He backed up when she pushed him. Hearing the humans talk about his hat made him pull it down some and hide behind Corbin.

Lenore gave a non-commital "Oh." in response to the man's statement about the hat, and she knelt down to pick up the book she had been reading. "In books, it's always the mountains you're supposed to train in, but I didn't really want to go to the mountains, so we decided on the forest."

Corbin laughed and nodded his head. "Yeah they do say that don't they. But don't let them fool ya. You can do good training anywhere. Heck even a field works." He said. He then looked down at Aaron and shook his head. "Come on kid you should be polite and say hi."
Aaron shook his head but was gently pushed forward. He looked up at Lenore before looking back down. He gave a quick wave and then did his best to hide in plain sight... by dancing! This is totally not Ryuu.

Lenore looked down at the riolu and gave a small wave of her own before turning her attention back to the book. She read a few sentences before pausing. Looking up at the darkening sky, the girl murmured quietly to herself. "Mef is probably wondering where we are." Standing up, she dusted off the back of her shorts before looking at Corbin. "I should probably get going. The others are probably already back." She returned Urabrask to his pokeball as she spoke. "Maybe we'll see each other again." She shrugged. "Maybe not." The girl gave the man and his pokemon another wave as she turned and walked away. "Bye."
