The Champion had little time to recover as Omega came sprinting in for the double knee strike, causing a sickening thud against The Storm's jaw! Before he could act, he was pulled down for the facebreaker, sending him rolling to the side and clutching his facial features after the blow!

Omega was on a roll, and was starting to feel the momentum slowly shifting over to his side. He sat up and rubbed his aching knees, they did just hit a guy and then had him land face first on them, and began shaking his fist in an attempt to hype himself up and get to his feet. He would wait till Matt would get to his knees and at that time Omega would charge at him with an attempt at Front Dropkick to his face.

The Storm was beginning to slowly push himself off of the mat, a hand still gripping his face. He was definitely going to have to deal with that headache tomorrow. As he began to rise, his eyes locked onto the running Omega, coming in for the dropkick. Just another chance for him to live up to his title.
As the man jumped and went for the dropkick, Matt aimed to wrap his arms around the man's legs and bring him right down the mat, hugging them tightly! If successful, he'd shift to his knees with Omega's right leg still in his grasp, attempting to lock in an Ankle Lock!

Now that, ladies and gentleman, is an impressive counter!! Omega thought he had Matt with the Dropkick but man did he think wrong (giggity) as he found himself locked in s very simple yet excruciating hold known as the Ankle Lock!!
Omega pushed himself up as he shouted in pain from the pressure on his ankle, the referee kneeled near Omega and asked him if he wanted to give up, but Omega refused he would find a way to escape the pain, he just need a moment to not be in said pain to think damn it!

A loud roar emitted through the arena as Matt applied even more pressure on that Ankle Lock, mixing in with Omega's pained shouts like a symphony of agony. He twisted and turned on the ankle with cruel intentions to snap it!
"END IT OR I BREAK IT!" The Storm shouted over the crowd and his opponent, taunting to just smack the mat a couple of times, just to tap out one time!

Omega heard Matt's threat of snapping his ankle in half and rather than just give him the victory he decided to instigate him a little more "KISS MY a** SHANAHAN!" he shouted at the Evolution Champion. He hoped the insult would blind Matt in a rage long enough for Omega to attempt to push himself up and attempt to Roll through and attempt to catch Matt with a Surprise Victory Roll pin attempt.

That insult did it! Omega sealed his fate, Shanahan was going to snap that ankle in half! Just as The Storm was about to give it a powerful twist... he felt himself being tugged forward! Before he knew it, he was flipped over into the Victory Roll pin!
One!
Tw-!
Forced to let go of the ankle, Matt released the hold and kicked out of the pin, ensuring that this match wasn't done! Unfortunately, Omega's ankle would also be in tact.

Omega rolled away quickly as Matt released the hold and broke up the pin, despite not being broken his ankle was far from okay. He held it and remained seated as he had rolled away, he needed a plan of attack and he needed one quick before that psycho giant Matt began his assault again.

Matt rolled up to his feet afterwards, his eyes immediately locking onto Omega. Inside, he was giving the man a coy smirk in response to that ankle lock. The only thing that could really be seen was the cold gaze in his eyes, though. He stood at the opposite side of the ring and paced back and forth slowly, waiting for his opponent to rise. Just to see if he could even stand after that tight submission hold.
