Concinnity Blaise Because hilarity can only follow...
L'ris of green Pennath, third wing-1 (probably). Has been around for shaffing ever, probably taking squires for at least twenty five turns - Has a squishy soft spot for candidates she thinks are vulnerable, but at the same time she's not going to take someone she thinks can't hack keeping up with her. She also has very little patience for whining or stupidity. - Is a bully and has no regrets about it, she's pretty sure she has your best interests at heart. Probably wouldn't be assigned candidates who are going to collapse into tears at the least provocation. That said, anyone else who dares screw with them is in Deep Deep Trouble. - Will probably overfeed her squire because ???affection - Definitely a focus on swordplay and other such skills. As far as she's concerned, literacy is important, but not as important as keeping your noggin whole. - Prepare to be dragged into political campaigning the moment Weyrleadership is questioned. She firmly supports pro-female riders and is inevitably involved in one way or another. - Has had a large collection of squires over the turns, and has lost at least one before they Impressed: everything she does in the field will be reasonably carefully vetted before she allows them near it. So I'm finalizing the history for my custom from forever ago and was wondering if L'ssa could have been one of L'ris's earlier squires? ((Pennath would have been about 3-4 when Lissari was looking to squire for someone, so it would have been one of her first attempts at squiremastering, I think.)) Lissari was a handful, and excelled at her combat-based training, but her book work was never very good. There definitely would have been a period where she tested her bounds in terms of what she could get away with, but I could see her being extremely loyal to L'ris in the long run. And despite all of her troublemaking years, L'ris could finally offer her a place in 3-1 after the Dragonplague so it could be a semi-touching scene from their past. :') Just...lady rider feelings.

I would be delighted! I think L'ris and L'ssa would work together like a house on fire - people screaming and running and all!
Definitely at that point L'ris was less forthright then she is now, which might have caused some initial problems along with that boundary testing - I think it'd have forced them both to grow, and L'ris would have needed to work on her 'not taking crap' skills. L'ris isn't particularly strong on book-work either, which might have left L'ssa with some skills lacking. Pennath would have definitely been the 'bad cop' in that relationship, even if she's usually the one causing the trouble herself.
Just after the plague, L'ris was preoccupied with pregnancy followed by Extremely Needy Baby (her daughter has a cleft palate/lip and feeding her and getting her through the first few months of life was Complex) and the death of her Weyrmate, but she'd 100% have supported L'ssa in an application, especially if they remained close.

Tuatha De Iiii might be able to snag the BOTH of you with Valeska and blue Aldebarath (currently in progress, my new spanglyblue)!
If Feragall aged out in '99, Seytev's only been squiring since the beginning of the Pass, so that works timelinewise... She'd be in 3-1, most likely, and she has a notable fondness for both foolhardy idiots and underdogs, so there's that. If they don't mind their squiremaster being an awful snarky good-natured tank of a blueriding lady, this could work! whyisgaianotalertingmetoquotesaugh That could absolutely work for me - having someone around to go 'stop that. SIT' could have increased his life expectancy by turns.

-goes fishing for a potential squire-
Til'lene of Brown Pelgalath, Third Wing #1 (has been able to take a squire for many turns) -
She takes her job very seriously, and wants a squire who will be able to pull their weight and do their job decently. As part of a combat wing, potential squires should be able to hold their own in self-defense, should the need ever arise. Any gender is acceptable, though no one under the age of 15. Dealing with murderers can be some difficult business. Til isn't afraid to give a little tough love, if she deems it necessary. That said, she'll do her best to treat her squire with respect and teach them as much as she can. Pelgalath will keep an eye out for them, too, and is eager to have someone squire under his rider. She wouldn't be afraid to take a more troublesome candidate, if they needed shaping up.

She'd be a fairly easy squire for her since she's just as neat and usually efficient. Plus she's already showing promise in combat because she's very naturally athletic. However she will be trying to make Til fat.
