Chath puffed out his cheeks a bit annoyed that the other boy Jekel was collecting a lot more orbs faster than anyone else. It didn't eralyl seem fair to have an older boy in the class. With a huff he seemed to forget Laial was there for a moment and dove downwards towards a bauble he had just noticed. Instead of using his hands he grabbed with his feet and then brought the bauble up and into his hands. Proud of his catch he came to the surface and noticed a young girl standing at the pools edge looking a tad awkward. She must of just shown up.
Chath taking his bauble swam to the edge and placed it on the pool side edge. He then waved to Del. "Hewo!" Before turning and diving once more to gather a second bauble that had just caught his eye.

Laial 'hmphed' and snatched his goggles from the teacher. Putting them on quickly so he could catch up to the others, he turned around at the sound of a familier voice. Ah, it was the dolphin girl! He waved a tentecle in greeting, before exhaling and sinking under the water.

((Oh ho... shark and dolphin finally meet. XD *watches for the chaos* For those of you who don't know.. Dolphins are know for not being on a sharks menu and knowing exactly how to get them away, and for protecting humans and whatnot from sharks.))
Jekel surfaced once more, frowning at his single orb. It seemed to be getting harder as he and the other boy seemed to have pulled up the easiest ones. The rest were probably hidden.
Lev was currently investigating the orbs he had allready received. WHile he didn't like being on the land he did like being curled up around shinies... and he wasn't about to leave.
He nosed at one, blinking when it poped open. He gave a loud noise that most likely translated to I broke it!
He gave a tiny sniff to what was inside his broken shiney. Candy? Yes thats what it was.. that brown stuff the woman in the house wouldn't let him have. He cautiously nippbled at it, a pause was given as he thought over the peculiar flavor.
It only took a moment, he gave a happy squeak and started to dig into the candy bits. Eating the wrappers and all.
Jekel blinked "Hey don't eat all of it!" he frowned... he wanted some eventually... But right now he had to win this contest.
He headed over to the leviathan, passing him the next candy filled orb "This ones mine..." he glared, receiving a pouting hiss-squeak.
The boy then spun around, eyes locking on the dolphin-girl. His DNA automatically told him "stay away!"
However, his stubbron boyish side completely ignored that... She was younger, smaller, and a GIRL. What could she possibly do?
With a confident smirk he dove back under, placing his hands on the pool's floor. Slinking along the bottum. His eyes werent that well... But his face seemed to tingle..almost painting an image infront of him.
While this didn't make much sense to the boy, why question what works? He slowly headed towards what made the tingles grow stronger until another orb, carefully tucked under a slate that matched the pool's color, came into the boys view. Aha! He rushed foreward, snatching it out from under the slate and watching it fall to the ground.
The boy grinned at his sucess, he was even greater than he thought. He headed foreward, the orb tucked under one arm as he tried to stay alert for more of those helpful tingles.
((*throws up a little box infront of the screen saying "Skill aquired!"*))

Chath managed to scoop up too more that were in the shallower end of the swimming pool before he resurfaced. he wasn't sue dto such activity, andhis legs were starting to get tired. Soon though he figured out that his tail could do most of the work when his legs couldn't and rightnow he used his tail like a rudder to guide him back towards his first Buable.
PLacing the other two down he observed the dolphin girl and wondered why she wasn't getting into the pool. He then noticed how far ahead Jekel was getting. Annoyed that the boy seemed to want to out bauble everyone else he decided to get into deeper water.
Sure that was were the shark boy was diving but he couldn't have all the baubles. That just wasn't fair. Unsure on how the boy would react to him entering his 'territory' in the pool he approached slowly and underwater. His eyes sight was getting adjusting to seeing through the filtered substance and his depth perseption was getting better as well.
He kept to the side of the wall and looked to be skimming the bottom of the pool. His tail knocked against something and he turned to see a bauble camflauged roll slowly down the slop and into the deep in.

The red haired teacher smiled, glad that it seemed the kids were getting the hang of it. And seemed to be doing quite well gathering orbs. No fights over any of them yet either also a plus. Maybe some tension between a couple of them but no out right hostilities. So in his mind that meant the class was going well. After all getting enough children/animals together and you were bound to get wires that crossed and personalities that clashed.
Orpheus looked over as the students seemed to one by one wonder what they were all looking at. Then gave a smile, "Hey. A girl! Alright now I don't have to feel bad about the jewelry in some of the orbs." He said with a laugh then waded over to her, "Hey there. You come to treasure hunt with us?" He asked of the little dolphin girl.

Laial peered underwater through his new goggles, upset that they distorted the vison a little. Shrugging it off, he began to look for orbs. When he relized that some were camoflaged, he started using his tentecles to feel around. Nearly shouting for joy when a tentecle grazed a smooth, round surface. He curled a smaller tentecle around it and continued to hunt for more.
((When Jekel attacks Laial (which I fully support){Laial: >.>}, would that be when Laial learns 'defense' as a special skill?))

((*snickers* Yes that'll work as a trait. :B And yaaay fight!
and that was good. XD Just look at my poor description of sensory.. Tinglies? XD
Though that wave is going to upset poor Jekel's skin...))
Jekel grinned, it seemed the other kids were starting to catch up... It reallyw asn't any fun if they weren't neck and neck throughout the whole fight!
He could lightly feel the movements, roughtly telling how far away the others were... This new-found ability was encouraging, and cool... He could tell where people were without seeing them.
As he neared another orb he noticed soemthign new... A .. smell? No.. not quite a smell. You can't smell things in the water afterall, right? He swooped down on the orb, snatching it up to tuck it with the other one. Chocolate maybe? Yea.. thats what it smelled like.
He thought he could smell a simmaler thing in the water, as he headed towards it's general direction something happend.
It felt as though someone had just slapped him across the face. He cringed, momentarily dropping the two orbs in his arm as he placed his hands over the sting. His whole body tensed, a rush of adrennalin...
The dolphin girl? The sudden feeling in his body disturbed him.. It was almost like.... fear. Why on earth would he be scared of a child?!
He shook his head, darting after the orbs that were sinking towards the floor before anyone else got the idea of snatching them from him and was soon on the second chocolate filled orb...
He surfaced, moving over to his leviathan to drop of the three. It was different than his previous surfacings, before he'd been cocky and looked as though he'd been having fun. Now it looked lamost like he just wanted out of the water. However he was far too stubbron to give into that instinct.

Grinning slightly at the older boy's discomfort, Laial became aware of the slightest prickeling sensation on his skin. Also shrugging this off, his tentecles swept the pool floor. He vaugly wondered why the boy looked so ill-at-ease. Like he thought something bad was going to happen. All of these types of thoughts quickly left his mind as a tentecle hit another orb.

THe dolphin girl was in the water now, he could vaguely make out her shape, Jekel and Laial were also swimming around using his fingers he discovered that though he couldn't see extremly well yet underwater, his fingers and toes were extremly sensitive. He could feel every crevis and bump on the pool ground...
It was an odd sensation...since he never noticed it before and though he couldn't exactly 'feel' the echo loation from the dolphin girl he certainly twitched anyway. He blinked slowly another orb slowly coming into veiw.
Looking over he saw the girl and older boy collide somewhat..he got an uncomfertable feeling about it all..

Orpheus watched the students as they were catching up the orbs, as the leviathan stole the contents of some of the ones Jekel got, as Del joined the group and as... odd. It seemed as if tensions were rising. It wasn't because there were now more kids and less orbs even he knew that, there was something passed the whole challenge thing, passed the whole chest bumping guy thing, he looked over at Del. Ahhh... wait. Wasn't there something about sharks and dolphins? They weren't really all that friendly towards one another were they? But Jekel wouldn't hurt a girl would he? Hmm. He would have to keep a very close watching on things as they progressed and hopefully stop a fight from starting between them. Or really between any of the students.
"Everyone is doing quite well!" He called, hoping to get there minds back on the assignment at had and maybe off the desire for fighting, "Remember everyone needs ten orbs to finish the class. Jekel the orbs Leviathan broke open still count so don't worry about that." He assured him then set to wading more towards the middle of the pool, better chance of breaking up a fight if he were where he could get to each part of the pool with equal speed.
(( If Orphues does have to break up a fight there the kids can like... gnaw on him or somethign as he ejects them from the pool. LMAO he may be a teacher but hes definately not bite proof. XD ))

Being underwater, Laial didn't exactly hear the teacher. His gaze wandered to the newt child. His suspicions were confirmed that the old kid and Del didn't like each other that much. As long as it didn't turn into a fight, he guessed it was alright. He noticed an orb almost directly underneath the older boy. A tentecle quickly reached out and grabbed it. Laial hoped the older boy didn't see him, or he might want the orb back.
And he didn't really want for that to happen.

Ten Del thought, having resurfaced briefly with another orb found with her newly discovered ability wow ten was a lot, she hoped she could find that many and not be the last one in the pool.
Putting on a determined look she propelled herself off the wall and back into the depths of the pool instantly clicking, she'd leaned that if she didn't click after a few moments the pictures washed away and she had to rely on memory and judged distance to things. Of course she found the clinking a bit strange because she kept feeling annoyed each time the image of the shark boy came back to her and she didn't know why. Laial caused no such feeling in her and she wondered if maybe she was just jealous of the far older boy.
Receiving the imagine of another orb she darted towards it. It put her dangerously close to the shark boy but it gave back an interesting picture to her so she was willing to risk it.
(i'm guessing here that depending on the weight of the orb and it's contents somethings may have slightly differnt pictures to Del. )

Oh and tao, perhaps when jekel gets all 10 laial will make a smart remark and thats where they'll get into a fight? XD))
Jekel slipped past the boy, not quite noticing that orb taken from under his feet. His eyesight was poor, though no one had quite caught onto this fact to give him glasses.
He rushed foreward, only needed two more... The fact he was close sent him into some sort of frenzy, completely forgetting the girl that made him so uncomfortable. He darted here and there... Lookinf or more of those smells or vibrations.
As he glided through the water, close to the floor of the pool he felt something move underneith him.. Small, round. He quickly turned, circling around the orb to keep his speed. He reached a hand out, snatching up the camoflauged orb from it's place on the ground.
Just one more! His mind eagerly yelled at him as he tucked the orb under his arm and rushed off again.
