Ariah Lei Matasoga Ariah Lei Matasoga You seem like someone who's company I might enjoy. Well I can't be too sure 'bout that, brother. But hey, I don't bite unless necessary so you can bet that I am a pretty tame person to hang with. hehe XD Yeah, you seem fun. Uh, I'm kind of conflicted if I would be flattered or doubtful but, gee, thanks! Hey, are you a regular at cosplaying? Forgive me if I'm wrong but I noticed the pics. No, but there are two reasons for that. 1. I am not trying to look like anyone but myself. 2. I did not pay costume prices, nor is the fabric and stitching of costume quality, nor are any other such garments that I own. Am I a regular at wearing such things? These days more of an occasional. I can't wear it at work and I work five days a week, so I have few occasions to do so, but when I see a musical I'll always be wearing something like that.

It's not exactly as though you see such people all the time. Even I, who used to go to lolita meet-ups (where people dress in lolita fashion) pretty often, haven't ever even a dozen dandies, in person, in my life. Suffice it to say, it's pretty rare... Unless it is a costume. In any case, I'm glad that you appreciate it. Yeah, you're pretty right about that. It's almost close to zero the times that I'd see people wearing Victorian clothing, rarely on anime cons because it's more on wearing clothes coming from a really known anime. Kinda sucks that there are a lot of good animes out there and no one bothers to cosplay them but meh. Whatcha gon' do about it anyways? But nonetheless, it's pretty cool to see people wearing awesome clothing like that. Heck, I practically begged my guy friend on where he found that pirate costume of his on our Acquaintance Party two years ago! He didn't say anything and that got me real pissed cuz HOT DAYUM dude his outfit was urgh!! I was probably drooling over it since I wanted to wear something like that, with the cuffs and that fluffy scarf thingy and the boots. I. WAS. INLOVE. WITH. THE. BOOTS. Why do guys have so much cool clothes while girls get to be stuck with skimpy shorts and miniskirts?? *hmph* Say, have you got into the news about this new "sickness" that eats up people's insides? Me and my mom are SURPRISINGLY watching the late-night news (actually, its her who's watching but I was listening while making this reply) and it shocked me about like these sort of things just normally would come out from a horror movie but then s**t gets serious cuz it becomes real. Love Renewed Ariah Lei Queen of the Damned? As in the movie adoption of the book Queen of the Damned by Stephen King? :O I have no idea. *le gasp* awehhmahhgheed!! I always wanted to watch that movie!! hnnngh! Was it a good movie? Hope it was... Was Lestat hot there? Hope he is, but if he is then I'm still rooting for Louis though cuz Lestat is still a braty vamp prince but whatever I still love him for that hehe XD

razz INTERESTING razz hehe but to be honest, I haven't watched the movie myself. I got to finish 1/5 of the book though. So far, Lestat was being a p***k he made little Claudia into a vamp waaay too early, causing her to have such a huge distress over matters with busty,fully grown women (vampire and human alike) since she's going to be stuck in her doll-like body for the rest of her life. But then if he didn't she could have died. Louis ,one of Lestat's earlier fledglings, was the one who found her first then bit her so she could live but Lestat was the one who gave her the Dark Power by giving her some of his blood, making her the youngest vampire in the Vampire Chronicles.

Quite a bit different from Queen of the Damned, but Lestat does turn the girl in the end to save her. So that much is the same.

That's because men's clothes are about covering the body and (if Victorian) decorating the covering, whereas women's clothes are meant to accentuate the body. Most men I know these days dress like total schlubs, but men in the right outfits can be as stately as girls can be sexy. As for Victorian fashion, I will say that men did a good bit better than women. I will say that I haven't heard of that, yet. Has there been a recent outbreak, or something?
