There's never rest for the wicked, and Shanahan wasn't going to change that saying today. He stayed on Cartwright by attempting to grab him by the head and torso, and lift him up into the ring. If he managed to push the Artist of Swag into the ring, he'd keep his lower legs dangling off the apron; from there, he'd rear back and aim a harsh kick onto Cartwright's right knee, sandwiching it between the solid edge of the apron and his massive foot!

The referee was really yelling at Shanahan now, but it didn't phase the Evolution Champion! He wasn't pulling any punches tonight, and he expected the same from Cartwright! The Storm followed after The Swagmaster, rolling back into the ring and clearly taking his time with it. Once on his feet, he would make a leisurely pace towards the center of the ring and attempt to deliver some heavy stomps down onto that right knee, regardless of Cartwright's hands on it! However, if Cartwright were standing, then he would do nothing but stand near the ropes ominously.

The referee was quick to jump into Matt's way and stop him from continuing the Swag cripplization! The Storm glared at the smaller man and shouted, "Get 'em on his feet!" He was in no mood for wasting time tonight! He was a man with a mission.

Matt stormed to the other side of the ring to let Cartwright get his bearings, flexing his arms back to loosen his muscles. Perhaps now they could actually have a match, and not a brawl!

The Champion's infamous rage had been carrying him so far, even if it seemed to be out of sheer bloodlust. Cartwright had done nothing to him, but The Storm seemed out to cripple anything in his path tonight! He had to keep something on the reserves though, or he may be running on fumes before he knew it. Keeping that in mind, he moved to the center of the ring and stood tall, flexing his hands while staring at Cartwright with an icy glare. He was ready and there was no backing down for him.

The Storm immediately accepted the lock-up, probably a bit too fast. If he had even hesitated for a moment, he could've avoided the eye rake. But, he wasn't a man to hesitate; the eye rake was true and it blurred the true Champion's vision, causing him to push away from Cartwright with his hands tending to his eyes; the Swagmiester wasn't letting up on his vision!

The God of Punks was too concerned over his eyes that he couldn't properly retaliate against Cartwright's offense. He was dragged to the turnbuckle and slammed face-first into it, causing him to let out a loud roar in defiance!

Matt didn't seem to fight back when Cartwright pushed him up to the top of the turnbuckle, in fact he seemed to do so willingly! When this Swagmaster wrapped his hands around The Storm's waist for the back suplex, all of the Asylum Champion's momentum seemed to stop dead in its tracks. Matt was not moving.

Despite how much Cartwright aimed to lift, he was not moving.

Once again, Shanahan was turning the tides! With one arm already wrapped around Cart's head, Matt brought his other over and tried to lock it in place with a tight head lock. If he was successful, he'd stand up from his sitting position on the turnbuckle, hopefully bringing Cartwright with him, and leap towards the outside of the ring! He was trying to bring the Swagnificent Swaglord down with a super bulldog to the outside!
