Plan Bee is rather thin and lanky with a slim face and usually has what some might call a crazy grin. His pelt is just a few shades darker orange/yellow than Honey Dipper and his mane and tale are nearly very dark grey/nearly black, with a few Prussian blue streaks here and there. His mane is kept pushed back out of his eyes, generally by a pair of safety goggles, and his long tail is kept out of the way by being kept in a braid, except for the end which is left in a tuft. His hooves are the same dark grey as his mane. He has a goatee - the same color as his body - and Prussian blue eyes, to match the streaks in his mane and tail. The color of his magic is also Prussian blue. His cutie mark is a hammer and a slat of wood with a nail sticking out of it. A small bee floats over both objects.

Plan Bee is an energetic, slightly eccentric unicorn who is always coming up with 'amazing' ideas that generally backfire on him. He's very good at what he does and makes the finest bee homes any swarm could ask for, but his 'brilliant' plans to make a built-in pool for the bees, or a sauna, generally don't go over so well with the honey makers. Still, he is rarely discouraged and has a love for trying things a different way...'Plan B' if you will. He's a bit of a scatterbrain and often misplaces things, like his safety glasses.

North is based on a Norweigian Fjord horse, so he's built very sturdy and strong. His coat is taxi cab yellow (out of the colors here, his is the one on the right of the middle row. It's to the right of the panel in the dead center) that starts to fade to white at his knees. His hooves are black and always well polished. His muzzle fades to white on his nose and mouth. His eyes are a bright kelly green. His mane is both white and black, and he keeps it cropped short and cut in a checkered pattern. His forelock he keeps a bit longer, though, as seen here. His white tail is kept short so it doesn't get caught in the wheels of his cab. His cutie mark is an ornate compass rose.

Magnetic North is a Manehattener through and through. He's gruff, he's tough, and he doesn't like when ponies get in his way...and he'll tell you! Under that rough exterior, North is an honest and loyal pony who would do anything for his friends and family. He's not afraid to speak his mind and his blunt ways often turn off others, so he doesn't have many friends. He's not too concerned with that, though, since his job takes up most of his time. He does have a soft spot for birds, though, and can be found during his break sharing his lunch with the pigeons that make their homes in the skyscrapers of the city.
