"I was working. But yeah, your stunt totally lead to getting ignored and would have happened anyway." A small twitch and a groan was all Gabriel got for removing his glasses as Des curled tighter into his ball. "I think it's bed time... I need it.."

"I know," Gabriel acknowledged, his voice soft. "I know, I screwed up, and it's a miracle that you're willing to forgive me at all." He scooted over to curl up against Des, burying his face in the other man's hair. "I love you," he said quietly, feeling tears well up in his eyes. Part of him was afraid this was a dream and he'd wake up back on his own couch, alone.

Another grunt, a groan and Des shoving his face in the man's shoulder with out a care in the world at that exact moment. "I know... you.. do." He murmured, quickly succumbing to sleep. "You idiot.. Stop crying.."
