Others? He hadn't thought about it too much really to tell the truth. Certainly for there to be so many stories about heros meant there were in fact other people though. Thus a he nodded. "Yea, othere people save people too. So even I can't be everywhere at once someone can fight the monster still." He nodded as if to affirm the guess as some backed up truth. It had to be right, otherwise the world would have been overrun with monsters by now. It was as simple as that. "So don't worry, were something bad might show up, someone good will be there to stop it from hurting people." Be it himself, or another hero.

Liang smiled, giving a little sigh of relief. "That's good. I was worried." She admitted, setting her fan back down in her lap. So there were other people, there had to be. That meant that there were always monsters getting killed, right? At least the world wasn't overrun by monsters then. But wait, hadn't mother said something about dragons? And come to think of it so had the techs before she met mother. Weren't heroes supposed to slay dragons? Well, he knew a lot about heroes, maybe he knew. "Have you ever killed dragons?" she prodded, watching him intently. Maybe she could learn something from him, and then she'd know what to do if she ever had to protect herself.

The reply seemed to cool any of the anxiety that had shown on the pale girl's face and in turn the boy calmed. "Well there's not need to worry, good will always be there to oppose evil." He nodded at that knowing quite well if anything that statement was true. People had morals and they would never let those be rod on for long. Even the meek would stand up to someone in time, it would just be hoped that someone would jump in before it ever got that bad. Specifically a hero, and the world definitely could use as many as it could get what with monster. That was Keanu's reasoning anyway.
Though the bringing up of dragon caused him to shake his head. "I haven't really met any yet, but I don't think all dragons are bad. So I'd only kill the bad ones." To be truthful he was rather excited with the idea of meeting his egg in the future, a dragon to help him save people. "Because not all monsters are bad," although most were, "and not all people are good. So it must be the same with dragons. So I'd only kill the bad ones to protect people." When he did run into a bad dragon that was. He'd actually been hoping he wouldn't find a bad one, dragons were, in fact, a mythical creature. One of the things that fascinated him almost as much as his training habits.

"Oh," she chirped, starting to put the picture of the world together in her head. So there were good monsters and bad monsters, and borth good monsters and heroes fought bad monsters? Maybe there weren't as many bad monsters around as she thought. But wait, how could you tell the difference between the good ones and the bad ones? Didn't they look the same? And what if you judged one wrong? You could get eaten! After casting a wary glance back toward the pond, she looked back at him, "How do you know if this one bad?" It was an honest question, she wanted to know just in case she should ever run into a monster herself.
