I wouldn't know since i am a girl...but i doubt that the theory is true. My guess is that it is just you! Your choice i mean if it is in your genes then you can either CHOOSE to ignore it or embrace it. And as one of my strait friends says "everyone is a little bit bi!" Just you choose to ignore or go with it. I chose to go with it cuz i hate lying to myself. Plus girls are hawt too! I <3 my girlfriend!!!!

What's about that with if they grow up with a lot of females??
I have an sis and my mom used to stay with ous and take care, so she was home a LOT, and we where of then out with an other famile with girls.. so My brother was often around 6 girls.... From what I knwo, so Is he almost an homophobe.. (he's the only one I did not tell I'm bi in my family)
so he's STRAIGHT

TailsPrower86 i never believe that kinda stuff they showed something on discovery channel saying that scientists are trying to figure out what makes guys like guys they were running tests and it was soo stupid.... On that note, why are there all of these studies on gay men, yet none on lesbians? Whatever... my theory is that it's all hormonal. Sex drive as a whole, no matter your sexuality, is driven by hormones. My theory is similar to ~Angel of the Wind~'s, in that it's just a difference in the way our hormones react to whichever sex. 3nodding

My mom's cousin is gay, and he has like three or four siblings and he is the middle so... I doubt that it has anything to do with that.

Hmm, that's an interesting theory. One would think they'd pinpoint it on having sisters and growing up with a single mom or something like that. You know, because it might influence someone to be less masculine or something. I have brothers and see my stepdad more than anyone, and well. . . I prefer girls to guys. Not that I blame my family or anything like that. It's just, I'd think they'd say being gay comes from growing up with the opposite sex, not same.
Now I'm babbling. I'll just shush.

I read about that in Time or something...they don't say that it will assure that you're gonna be gay, just because you have older brothers. It just says it would make it more likely.
An interesting thing to note is that I just heard about a study that just came out of not just gay men, but men and women, gay, lesbian, and bisexual. The study says that our sexuality could be determined by how many people we see growing up. Like, if one grows up in a populated area while they are young, or simply see a lot of people, they are some huge percent more likely to be gay/lesbian. The study mentions that bisexuals were born on a cusp, between seeing too many and not enough. It hypothesizes that we all have the potential to be gay/lesbian or bisexual, and that it kicks in as a sort of population control.
If it were true, it would help support the more brothers more likely theory.

i dont think that is true because i dont think you choose to be gay you are born that way so how many brothers you had wouldnt matter
