Raidyn watched as another girl tumbled away from a hole in the ground, obviously hit by some unseen force, and feels the air move like something was whipping thru it at excessive speed towards him. He braces for the inevitable strike blocking in front of himself with his stave which snaps in half an instant later as something solid hits him in his midsection almost like a tail. He grabs it before it can fling him and stabs the sharp end of the broken staff into what he is holding while trying to not get thrown off in the process.

Raidyn clung on to whatever it was he had grabbed for dear life as he was shaken around not sure of what to do next. Thinking in hindsight this wasn't a good idea to try and attack something he could not see, but what else could he do, something was attacking and he felt he had to stop it.

Suddenly he found himself in the air clinging to nothing falling to the ground, then he felt a surge of energy, saw a flash of light, and swore he saw Fayt with a katana standing against a dark beast with a tail and wearing a mask, then he hit the ground and smacked his head on something hard and everything turned black as he passed out.

Everything should have been happening too quick to keep up with, but strangely enough Akane saw it all. The nice blond girl stepping in and attacking the monster, though it still seemed she wasn't able to see it. The boy with the staff's tenacity against the masked horror, and then the snowy haired boy's attempt at evasion and sudden transformation too. The flash that came with the latter caught her off guard and was enough of a hindrance that the beasts next move left her only with time to guard by bringing both arms up, one crossing over the other.

As her arms took the blow head on she noticed something strange about them. Before they had been glowing a faint purple, but now, not only were her arms considerably warmer, they were glowing brighter, and they actually stopped the attack! The blow certainly hurt, but she expected to get the same rag doll treatment as the other two had before. Fortunately her shock was not long lived because the creatures tail was coming around to her side to finish her off. Akane drops to the floor and looks to Fayt, who seemed all too distant for what was going on right in front of him "That sword better not just be for decoration or we're both in for a lot of trouble..."

Fayt quickly drew the katana and was suddenly standing over Akane, cutting the monster's tail clean off. He stood there for a moment, wondering how he moved to fast. You don't have time to wonder. You have to protect these people. The monster swung at him but it's claw met the same fate as the tail. It took a step back and let out a deafening howl. Fayt took this opportunity to dash forward and plunged his blade into the thing's chest. It cried out in pain but it was cut short by Fayt jumping upward, cutting the monster in half. It then slowly faded away as Fayt landed and slowly sheathed his katana. "Are you okay?" He held out his hand to help Akane up.

The other creature watched in amazement as Fayt defeated his foe. "I don't believe what I am seeing. A shinigami? But they were wiped out seventeen years ago." It took a couple steps back. "As much as I would love to feast on such a rare spirit, I must report this." What almost looked like a black hole opened up behind the creature. It slowly stepped back into it, not taking it's eyes off Fayt as it faded away.

A hooded figure that was standing in the sky, watching the whole thing, let out a small laughter. "You see? I was right!" Another hooded figure phased into view. "So it's true then. They weren't all wiped out." Another joined them. "Guess that means it's time to start all the fun?" The first one turned to the third. "Yes. We move forward as planned." More started to appear until there was thirteen hooded figures. A couple of them chimed in "We finally get to have our revenge." "Finally a true test of our stength." "I can't wait to hunt them all down." The first one looked down at Fayt. "The world will have no idea what hit it." He let out an evil laugh as he and his twelve companions slowly faded away.

The black dot was cut by a white blurr and disappeared. The other blackbdoe was earen by a different black dot. Slowly Amai got up on her knees. Her ribs were bruised, but she didn't seem to notice as she hobbled to her feet. A pair of strong arms swooed around her just as she thought she might.fall again.
"Careful." A pair of nice, blue eues looked at her.
She mumbled, "take me over there."
"Is that a good idea?" The boy looked concerned, "you're jusy gonna get hurt again."
She shrugged the boy off. "Then I'll take myself."
The boy followed as she made her way back to the girl.
"He gonna be okay?"
She looked down at the black haired boy.

The black haired girl looks to Amai first and with an expression begins to answer her, expressing her uncertainty, but then things started to happen with the young man and it took Akane's attention from the conversation quickly. The color of this one's aura was starting to shift. Now, just like her's and the white haired boy's, this guys energy took on a different hue and texture from that of everyone one else in the court yard. Thankfully his energy was strengthening too. She sighed in relief and looked back to Amai "I think he'll be... ok." her red eyes blinked a few times looking at the girls energy. Now all four of them were different from the others, and even from themselves. Akane couldn't make heads or tails of the whole thing, especially when she's interrupted by the previously unconscious. She looks to him and smiles warmly "Ya, that's me. I think everyone's going to be ok for the most part. As for your injury, it seems when you fell your head picked a fight with that rock behind you. Suffice to say, though I'm not sure I agree, it seems the rock is harder," She laughed a little at her joke. She was just glad that everyone seemed ok. She felt bad that they were in the condition they were in now because of her, but she knew things could have been considerably worse.

Raidyn laughs a bit then grabs his head.

Oww it hurts to laugh, and I think I will need to see the nurse at least if not my Doctor.

Blinking a few times he thinks he sees someone standing next to Akane, sort of a mirage type image, but his head was being disagreeable with him so he just forgets about it.
