Elsabeth Perry Carter

Elsabeth let the smile slip from her face as she entered the main area of the bar, her dark eyes not even seeking out Garad like they normally did. She knew he was right to be pissed, but like him she had a lot of pride and refused to apologize for doing what she did. Wrinkling her nose a bit as she made her way over to the live band that was playing for them all tonight. Sighing as she saw their eyes alight on her, with more then lecherous thoughts showing through. Giving a small groan of annoyance as she stepped up and leaned forwards towards the bass guitar player, using her arms as braces on the stage so she wasn't completely bent at the waist. Already her back was crawling from what she was sure was the eyes of Simon. Plastering a nice polite smile on her lips as she leveled a serious gaze on the man before her to see him visibly swallow.

"So this is what I need for music tonight since it is my new routine, a heavy, bass feeling thrumming as I go through the dance. You saw it earlier so YOU should have a good idea of the music that I am talking about." she whispered to the man, who just nodded his head, knowing that dark look in her eyes wasn't a invitation to flirt, but instead a take on his man hood should he over step his bounds. Flinching as he recalled what happened to his last drummer that had dared to step over that line. The man had been damned near castrated not only by her, but the owner then the demon they both served. Tilting her head to the side as she saw him go into memory recall mode, Elsabeth felt a bit of pitty for him. he was truly a nice man, so she reached out and patted his knee before standing up.

When she saw him recoil a bit, she pouted but knew it was with instinct that he did it. A subconscious reaction. Sighing loudly as she looked away and made her way to the other side of the bar room, making sure to give a wide berth to the bar it's self and the sole occupant behind it. Only to hear a irritated sigh come from that particular person, letting her know her actions further annoyed him. Giving a small shake of her dark hair as she came to a stop next to a short blond woman with wide expressive blue eyes. "Oracle, it is nice to see you here. I hope your in good order." her voice neutral and exceedingly polite with a small trace of fear in it. For this woman was a fellow summoner, but the name she was called by was for what her summons gave her. And it scared Elsabeth that a person of this calibur decided to side with Demons in stead of angels or being totally neutral.

It was also a thing she learned quickly that you don't ask about. when the small woman looked up, a faint smile on her child like face as she gazed upon Elabeth. "Well hello water bearer, I see that you have pissed off my adopted brother again.. But then all that it serves is to make him more stubborn over you.. HAAHAH But recall what i told you, for it will come to play soon..Also we will have a few interesting guest tonight. This will be amusing." she said in that slightly weezy voice of hers, as she looked around her, causing Elsabeth to turn and see what she was looking at, only to see Alvoid disappear as Simon rushed out the door, showing the duo from earlier, making a loud groan burst from her mouth.

"Do you hear the knocking at night? Do you!? Do you, hear the knocking at night?"

He continued his walk into the city, taking in the sites of what was left of it all. The air reeking of both demonic and angelic magics, causing him to curl his lip up in disgust. He really didn't want to be here, but between information gathering and that proprietor he felt he didn't have a choice. Though he was silently thankful that his two constant companions weren't bickering any more. Already the sound through the shadows was muted. Giving a soft sigh as he looked up at the receeding skyline from the now decaying buildings, Tommy began to whistle a odd little tune. IT sounds pleasant at first, then almost like nails on a chalkboard.

As the minutes ticked by, he started to feel more and more energies gathering into a specific location. Narrowing his eyes as he turned suddenly down a side street, then another and another, before finally coming to a sign that looked to have read, Main and 5th at one time. Guessing it was near the cities center, Tommy stopped his whistling, switching to a more stealthy type of walk. His eyes darting to and fro around the area, taking in all possible ambush sites so he would be prepared if he had to fight. The place was honestly giving him the willies, something he thought was nigh on impossible

When nothing happened after a good ten or so minutes, Tommy made another turn, onto a side street, that allowed him to hear the faint crashing of waves. Giving a loud, rude snort, he made his way towards what looked to be a run down three story building, only to come to a stop in front of it. Looking up to see the sign reading 'Pawn and Bishop', he knew he had the right place. Letting his gaze slide down to the man that seemed to be standing there, he spoke up, "Hey! Can you either move out of the way, or just go in. Cause I don't like to stand around." his voice was soft, but the irritation was there none the less.

"If so never answer it, for your life will be forfeit, cause it is the Tommy Knockers, coming to collect your soul."

Christine, Cherubim of Innocence

Elliot didn't hesitate to side step out of the path of whatever Alvoid created. A summon of the void could easily delay something nasty. Still he kept his main focus inward, the conversation with Azure was proceeding...but just that. He'd been attempting to get her to speak, but something, he guessed his own hesitations, were sealing her words. He'd let Christine have her conversation with the enemy summon, honestly he had nothing to speak with her about, and reigning in the Cherubim before entering a den of power was top priority.

"I know the accords, Ally. I felt the nexus well before meeting Leviathan's cute host. Eccentric I am, but with age it naturally comes, at least I shant hide mine. I'm just wondering why you are hiding behind the ice queen facade for your master. Tis a pity, I'm sure whomever caught your eye would be enjoy seeing your demure side, as you originally were." Christine chided knowingly, wiping the tear stains on her face, which only continued to flow. She was unabashed by them, and simply let them come with a smile on her face. "Though I should remind you whom is a creator and whom is a created here, Alvoid. I hold the strings, and void ability or not, I can and would snip yours. It isn't hard to create a new puppet, we just prefer experienced ones." Christine said cheerfully, no hint of an insult, but strait fact. That was the point Alvoid vanished, and a man came out of the bar.

"Dear Elli, we're here. It might be best to return to the present. People are waiting on you." Christine's ethereal form whispered into his ear, when some new summoner appeared, irritated for some reason. She seriously held back her urge to turn on this newcomer. They house two constructs, and what was another push for Elli.

Elliot sighed outwardly, and inside he apologized profusely to his summon. He needed to return asap to her, and start working again. He'd check in and find a place to stay for the night for the evening. Tomorrow he'd make himself useful. Closing his suddenly tired eyes, the Summoner readjusted the spear on his shoulder, and started into the club. He threw his hood up over his head, and nodded once to the disgruntled man who came out moments earlier.

"Sorry. Didn't realize I was in your way." He began to move to the side, when Christine hooked his right arm in her left, resting her right hand on his arm, and moved them both toward the inside. The Angel was all smiles, in attire well beyond ostentatious for the club, but little care for whom thought it so.

The two walked up to the bar, Elliot giving the stage a brief glance from under the hood, his glasses reflecting the woman from earlier. 'It had to be this kind of club, didn't it?' He immediately thought, and sat at the bar, back to the stage. Meanwhile Christine made sure to scan the room very slowly, picking out those she knew, and was more than happy to reacquaint herself with.

"Do you hear the knocking at night? Do you!? Do you, hear the knocking at night?"

Tommy just titled his head up in acknowledgement to the young man, as he tossed his hood up and went inside. A feral like grin on his lips as he saw a distinctly angelic female form slightly materialize to his eyes. But he knew it wasn't the one he wanted, since it was female. Shaking his head when a soft hiss echoed in his head. "So we have a cherubim class angel here, and one that I am not to fondly acquainted with.. She has a ego the size of this planet and should be put on a leash." Diablo growled. This made Tommy come to a halt just inside the door, deep consideration on his face as a icy female laugh echoed in his head.

Giving a small shake of his head, Tommy made his way to the bar and sate a few stools down from the boy. Already he felt the magic in him swell up before Diabloe [sans sword], materiallized in his human physical form. Tommy already knew what he was gonna do, and gave a small grunt that said volumes to the summon. Only earning him a low cackle of delight. His eyes watching as Diablo made his way over to a rather scantly clad woman, that was talking to a rather small, petite woman. Figuring that the summons could get himself outta trouble on his own.

As he approached, Diablo looked back at his chosen master, giving him a thumbs up sign, before turning back. Rubbing his hands together, before swinging it out wide, to bring it down on that leather clad rump, fast and hard. The resounding crack was music to his ears. The second his hand hit, Diablo took two steps back away from the woman, he was sure would either be furious or scandalized, Diablo waited to see the ensuing chaos he crated.

She turned back to face her friend, her dark eyes looking up at the ceiling. Some part of her had hoped that Al would of just led them to a pit and left them there. But she knew deep down, that Alvoid like Mut was very loyal to Garad. A distinctive pout forming on her bottom lip as she brought her gaze down to the oracle, who was smothering a laugh of complete amusement. Only to see that amusement wash from her face in a second, replaced by a contemplative look. Tilting her head to the side, she felt too late the presence of a summon that had already approached her, before she felt a stinging sensation on her back side after a rather loud crack.

Elsabeth's body shot up completely straight, as she felt a twitch start under her eye. This was the second time today that she had been smacked on the butt. Pretty sure her face was turning a interesting shade of red as she turned around to look at who did it. Already knowing it would be a summons, she was a bit taken back by what he looked like, since she had to angel her neck up to see him. A slow, cheshire cat like grin curved her lips, as she took two steps forward so she was nose to chest with him. "That wasn't very nice of you to do, sir. But I am sure that you are aware that for every action there is a reaction right?" she said softly, getting a feminine giggle from behind her.

Lifting her hand up, she used a finger to trace a bulls eye on the summons chest, before patting it. Purposely drawing his focus to the spot, as she lifted her knee up in one swift, fluid motion between his legs. Feeling the soft tissue there connect with her boney knee with a grim satisfaction. The smile on her face only grew wider at the sounds of various men in the bar making either groaning or whimpering noises. With a shrug of her shoulders, she stepped away from him then around to head back to the stage.

{EDITED}
Garad had been crouched behind the bar, taking inventory, when he felt the young man from before enter the establishment. Taking his time to finish the inventory, Garad went a bit stiff at the second presence that enter. Letting out a small sigh as he stood up, his mind supplementing the information on why it felt so familiar. when all he got was a vague impression of darkness form many years ago, he let it go.

Standing up after doing his count, he looked at Elliot with a soft smile at him, and a polite nod of his head to Christine. whome he noted looked ironically good in her dress. Turning his gaze to the other hooded young man, he saw the summons materialize as who this was came slamming into the front of his mind. Groaning low as he watched the summons make it's way towards Elsabeth. Flicking his glance at the young man, who seemed not to care in the least, as a loud crack was heard through out the quiet bar. Causing him to whip his head around and stare in half horror and half amusement at Elsabeths reaction, words and then her actual actions. Making him flinch visibly, before speaking to Elliot first, "Ah young man, good to see you here. I have a room ready upstairs, but you get to earn your keep for you and your Angel lady friend there. I just took inventory, and have a small list if your willing to get it..." he said keeping his voice soft, while not trying to look at the spectacle.

Christine, Cherubim of Innocence

The former teacher ignored the surge in power next to him, and the resounding smack that came after. That was skin being smacked, and there was only one person he saw that had enough visible to make that sound. He just closed his eyes, and decided to let the events on the floor happen as they would. The woman already was pissed with him, and he wanted to just lay low and take jobs for now. Before he could respond to the owner, Christine raised her right hand to cup the side of her mouth.

"That-a-girl! But I must say a little rosiness to those cheeks looks good on you, darling." The Cherubim called out loud enough to be heard throughout the bar, being the Angel of Innocence tended to mean restraint and tact wasn't on the forefront. Christine tugged Elliot's arm, slightly with her still looped left arm, and leaned close to his hood.

"She's actually cute with a tint of red on skin. You must learn to bring that out while you are here, dear Elli." The man in question shut his eyes, and started to count steadily in his head. Dealing with her was a test of patience almost everyday.

Looking up to Garad, the man whom gave him this opportunity, he flashed a weak smile. "Thank you for this chance sir. I'll start as soon as I can, but.."

"Oh I wont be staying, Shopkeep. This is Elliot's job, I'll just be visiting often. I hope that won't be a problem?" Christine said excitedly as she looked over her shoulder to Garad, a wide brilliant smile on her face.

"Um yeah, what she said. I can start as soon as you need me to." Elliot finished, a bit sheepishly, a stark contrast to the vividness of his Angelic arm holder.

"Do you hear the knocking at night? Do you!? Do you, hear the knocking at night?"

Tommy watched as a much older version of the man he had met popped up from behind the bar. Though he wasn't surprised when he ignored him, to talk to the other man. Since it seemed they had business to take care of. But his eyes glazed over visibly when a rush of pain swept up between his leg to his sensitive man parts. Letting out a low groan, just as the angel next to him whooped and hollard. He knew what Diablo had gotten, and hated being so damned insync with him at these times.

Leaning forward to rest his head on the counter, Tommy turned it enough to smile with a grim satisfaction at seeing his summon's curled up on the floor, holding himself. Though a muted sense of unbridled glee was slamming around in his head from his other one. Closing his eyes as he choked out a whisper, "Can I have some water and a bag of ice please." Wishing the stars would not dance merrily before his eyes, which he slowly closed. only to see the mocking little things behind the lids of his eyes.

"If so never answer it, for your life will be forfeit, cause it is the Tommy Knockers, coming to collect your soul."

Elsabeth shot a bland glance towards the loud, exuberant angel for her words. Though there was a faint glow to her cheeks at those words. Not giving a damn she finished up with what she had to do at the stage once more. Noting that the guys were all acting like pansified wussies at her, causing her to roll her dark eyes, smile and remind them about the music. Then giving a small nod of her head, she made her way towards the bar. Sitting in the stool on the other side of a young man that seemed to be in the same pain as the summons. Showing no remorse as she sat there waiting for what ever was gonna be said about her actions, or if the young man would be loosing his cool yelling at her.

Garad blinked a bit, nodded his head towards both the Angel and Elliot, about to tell him what he could go fetch from the back store room. When the soft whisper from the young man reached his ears. Looking at him with understanding and sympathy, since he knew how hard Elsabeth's kicks could be, and he was in no better boat with his other Summons liking to pick on her, and having received the same treatment. Garad held up a hand to Elliot, before swiftly getting him a drink of fresh well water, and a large bag of ice. SEeing that Elsabeth was now sitting at the bar. Raising an eyebrow, before a smirk curved the corners of his lips.

When no retort or action came from either the young man or Garad, Elsabeth let out a soft sigh. Only to lift her gaze to Garad as he set the glass before the young man, along with a large size bag of ice. She schooled her features so that no smile showed at all, since she knew he knew what that young man was going through. Though the moment she looked at her mentor, she felt a chill run down her spine and the urge to hide suddenly. Getting ready to slide off the stool and head to the dressing room, she was stopped as Garad spoke up, "Ah Elsabeth you can be a really good sport, and show Elliot were the store room is. I need a few bottles replaced in my stock, as well as some snacks. Be a good girl and take this list, show him, help him and be polite." the last two words coming from his mouth with a undercurrent that spoke volumes.

Frowning at Garad, knowing this was a part of her punishment, she snatched the list that seemingly appeared out of no where on hte counter top. Glanced at it, then at Elliot, before speaking, "Well come on!" she said, her voice as neutral as she was able to get it, as she turned and began to saunter towards the store room. "don't worry young man, she wont bite you. And if she gives you to much guff, tell me if your not brave enough to poke her on the left side just under the 12th rib." Garad whispered to Elliot, before turning his gaze towards Tommy, looking very contemplative all of a sudden.

Christine, Cherubim of Innocence

Watching the exchanges from under his hood, Elliot couldn't help a small smile, seeing the woman from before be forced to help him. Obviously she didn't want to, but his new boss certainly had a way of controlling that.

"Right." He agreed as he stood to follow his new...coworker? Pausing to give Garad a nod for the advice, he gave him a smile, and looked to the Angel by his side. Flipping down his hood, Elliot questioned her with his gaze.

"I'll be fine, dear Elli. In fact, I think I see someone whom I simply must reminisce with." Christine replied with a warm smile. She patted him on the back, egging him on to finish his task. "Be careful of the little black haired firecat. The last thing you need on your mind is a mostly naked woman, while trying to get to know Azure." His patriarch angel added conspiratorially, with her still warm smile. Elliot rolled his eyes, and returned her smile.

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure that won't be a problem." Elliot said as he walked his way after the woman with the list. He caught up to her soon enough, and followed her quietly. He'd rather not piss her off more by starting dead end small talk.

Christine watched him leave before casually stepping away from the bar, and twirling around to look at Garad. "Please take care of my dear Elli. I'm not quite done with him yet, and would be ever so furious if my work was lost in him. Now if you'll please excuse me." She gave him a curtsy bow, and then twirled elegantly around, her dress fluttering pale pink ethereal petals off of her. The petal vanished before hitting the ground, but certainly added to her appearance.

Almost gliding over the floor, Christine made her way toward a dark corner, which housed a shadowed man. "It certainly has been a very long time hasn't it, Leviathan? How have you been? Any plans or hosts I have ruined for you as of late?" She asked sweetly, leaning against the wall, with her hands clasped behind her back.

Elsabeth didn't really say anything as she more or less sensed him walking behind her. Stopping only briefly at a rather battered metal door. Reaching out she spun the locking mechanism one way, stopping it then back the other way to stop it once more, before pulling open the vault like door. Looking over her shoulder at Elliot, she snorted a bit before leading the way into what could of only been a bank vault back in the day. It was stock from floor to the 45 foot tall ceiling with a rather vast amount of Liquor. "Well here is the store room, at least for all the liquor. It is stocked by type, with the wines at the very back. Now what he needs is this: Grey Goose Vodka, Sour apple pucker, Watermelon Pucker, some Coors light and last but not least, Brandy. The brandy I will get as it is near the wines and the bottles are delicate. Over to your right is the beers, and the vodka. Holler when you got those. Then I will show you were the puckers are kept." she said without even turning to face him. Her arms pointing in the directions he was supposed to go as she spoke.,

Leviathan had been watching Christine with a bit of amusement, noting that the last few hundred plus years hadn't really changed her at all. If there was to be a fight here to night in this completely neutral ground it would be her and probably his brother. Though he smiled when she shouted out that Elsabeth had done a good thing in kneeing diablo in the crotch, showing that she didn't take crap. But the smile left his face when she came over and started to speak. Turning his head up ever so slightly, so his green eyes looked through his neon green hair at the angel, he replied softly, "NO not at all. She wont bond, but she is contracted. UNLIKE you my sweet, spitfire angel, I don't believe in forcing and killing my human summoners. I see each as a valued piece on my chess board. Though I was shocked when I acquired someone like Gerard. How about you? I am surprised that you would willing step into this neutral ground. Cause last I knew of you, you couldn't stand to not be in the presence of one like me and not kill them.. or rather attempt to kill them." his words smooth and laced with heavy sarcasm, while a sardonic smile curved his thin lips.

"So it has been a long time since I saw you last Tommy. It looks like you have grown up quite well. As you don't appear to be that gangly little boy with a lot of power any more.. And the master of two summons." he said as he placed a glass of cool milk in front of the y oung man, keeping a ear open for any trouble in multiple directions. Already the back of his neck was tingling, telling him to be wary.

Christine, Cherubim of Innocence

He mentally noted the combination of the large mechanism, as he would probably need it for later, and silently followed Elsabeth inside. He took a moment to admire the variety and sheer size of the collection. It wasn't nearly as big as some of the stores he'd seem, but it was certainly house a much more valuable commodity among the world at large.

Just for liquor, huh. Whoever this Garad is, he must have been doing this for a long while to create a neutral accorded establishment, and acquire a this rare collection. Elliot listened carefully to what his...coworker? said, and went about his task.

"I've got everything." He said after a minute of pulling the stock from shelves. He several cases of beer with little effort, and had pocketed the vodka in his large robe pockets. "Since we'll be working together, I guess, my name is Elliot. Considering our run in earlier I'm not expecting much, but it would be beneficial to know your name." Elliot said politely as he walked up next to the scantly clad woman, making sure to keep his eyes above her collarbone.

* * * *

Christine looked down on the shorter man, a sadistic smile gracing her cherubic face. "We'll have to see how the night goes." There was a sparkle of viciousness in her pale pink eye, which she blinked away and went back to angelic. Turning her head toward the room, she watched all the occupants with amusement.

"I have never been the best at playing games, this you know. I'm just a bit to straightforward for strategy, but I know power and talent when I feel it. Sure my methods may be spartan, but they are effective. I have three bonded in this continent alone, and before you go off on numbers, mine have been bonded for long while, my slippery Leviathan. Coatl's host, Jorm's, and Falaya's." She was sure, even down here, those names had effect. Those three had been single handily keeping the northern parts of the country mostly heaven controlled. They were incredibly dangerous guns for hire, but bonded with the angels.

"Chess is a carefully played time consuming game, while I prefer the head on approach, I too have my own pieces. Elliot, may just end up being my queen, he has such potential." Pride radiated from her, as she looked up toward the ceiling, staring beyond it.

"And I'm just being very restrained right now. Your presence burns my delicate nose, and this place churns the fire inside me. Would my dear Elli have not made a deal with the host, I would have started purifying this place an hour ago." Christine smiled down to the shorted demon, as if the insult wasn't there. "That aside, it is pleasant to catch up with very old friends, once in a while, don't you agree?"

{{Leviathan 1st}}
Blinking green eyes a few times, before standing up to his full height, Leviathan looked down on the Cherubim Class angel before him. His face blank, eyes impassive as he seemed to stare right through her. With a shake of his head, causing his green hair to shift around his angular face. Carefully he choose his words to make the woman before him understand clear as day. "I see that the seven centuries hasn't much changed your personality or outlook on life. Do NOT forget that I was a higher ranking Angel then you before I made my choice to leave heaven. And I will tell you now, that if you are not careful with your words or actions tonight. You will have some rather prominent Seraphim, who come here to enjoy the company of those of us who walked away. Which means you are putting not only your life, but that of your bonded in danger. Know well that Metatron and Sandolphon will not take kindly to your antics. GROW UP and see the BIGGER PICTURE of what is really around you Christine Cherubim." When he spoke his voice dropping several octaves, holding the power that he didn't like to show.

Then giving her a slight bow he stepped around her, not caring for what she had to say. Making his way to were Diablo was still curled up on the floor. Leviathan stopped looking down at the demonic summons, shaking his head. Giving the man on the floor a small smile before looking at Garad and speaking loud enough to be heard. "I am leaving for a while, I feel the need to bathe myself and de-stress before tonight's preformances. Also A note to the wise, I hope that there is no use of Summons inside this place..it would be a pitty that an establishment that has literally been a neutral ground for over fifteen years would vanish." his voice mocking and teasing in one go, before he poofed out with a cackle.

{{Elsabeth 2nd}}
Looking at the young man, listening patiently as he spoke, Elsabeth weighed his words carefully, before nodding to him in a quite acceptance. "Elsabeth. The specialty stuff is this way." she said softly as she turned on the ball of one bare foot and padded towards the left back. Were rows upon rows of various mixers were. Jumping up the ladder one handed with practiced ease from her years of being here and working. Once she grabbed the last two items on the list, she jumped backwards off the ladder. Twisting her body like a trained acrobat, landing with a soft thud. Only wobbling once as she balanced herself and her precious load. Turning her dark gaze towards Elliot, to size him up a bit before walking towards the door.

As she walked she spoke over her shoulder in a soft, polite and very cultured voice, "I have nothing against you, except that coat and hood your wearing, as if your either a creeper or someone hiding something. And that you let that Angel do something akin to rap. So no offense at this, but if your summons don't talk to you, it is because of her forcefully using it, shoving it in that flipping construct of hers.. and well you know the rest from the battle. But I ABHOR her and her ILK...They have no respect or regards for us humans. We are either in the way and to be killed or tools to be used til we are no longer useful and tossed away to die. But then again, I have met some summoners who actually have a good report with their bonded Angels. One is coming to night from the Arch Angel class." Her voice trailed off as a silly little grin came to her face, making her cheeks turn a pale red. Shaking her head as she spoke once more. "After we drop this off, I will show you were your room is for the duration of your stay. Just note you will be sharing a bathroom with me. I DON'T take well to PERVERTS and PEEPING TOMS. You saw the light end of the treatment I give them. If you are polite, we will get along just fine. And hell I might be willing to spare with you at a later date." she said, Looking over her shoulders a winking playfully before skipping out the vault door.

T̶o̶m̶m̶y̶ ̶'̶T̶o̶m̶m̶y̶ ̶K̶n̶o̶c̶k̶e̶r̶'̶ ̶K̶n̶o̶c̶k̶t̶u̶s̶

"Do you hear the knocking at night? Do you!? Do you, hear the knocking at night?"

Tommy shifted his head just enough to look up at Garad, his dark eyes glazed still as the pain started to recede from his person. Though he did snake his hand up to grab the bag of ice before settling it in his lap awkwardly. Then with the same hand pulled the glass of water towards him. Still watching the man behind the bar, Tommy lifted his head up slowly, feeling the world spin around him, as he put his lips to the edge of the glass, since he didn't trust himself to lift it yet, and sucked at the water until he was making rather loud and rude noises.

Keeping his senses open, he was aware of the Angel woman talking to the very strong demonic presence he had felt before he had come in. Closing his eyes as he heard each word of their conversation, Flinching visibly as the Demon spoke his piece rather harshly. When he opened them again he looked directly at Garad and spoke, "It has been and yes I do. She is a rather interesting person, the total polar opposite of Diablo the perv on the floor over there." he whispered in a still slightly choked voice. Only to stiffen as he felt the Demon approach Diablo, before he announced his intents with a harsh warning for the over zealous and rather impetuous angel, then vanishing. Raising a eyebrow at Garad in silent question at that.

"If so never answer it, for your life will be forfeit, cause it is the Tommy Knockers, coming to collect your soul."

Christine, Cherubim of Innocence

Again Elliot decided it best to not interrupt. If she was talking to him, even just to throw jabs or rules, she was still talking to him. He took that as a good sign, and made sure to listen.

Pretty much everything she said was true. Christine's use of Azure, the Angels and Demon's motives, varying treatment of the bonded. All of it resonated with him one way or another. This was why he was here, to change, to take charge. Elsabeth would certainly be an interesting roommate.

"Thank you for showing me the way, and I promise you I hold no interest in you that way. Not that you aren't attractive, but well...honestly I pretty much already have seen all of you already, Elsabeth. I'll keep to my own." Elliot agreed, and followed the woman summoner out of the vault. He did notice the flush she grew at the mention of a bonded. It wasn't his business so he let it go. He did want to know one thing though.

"Um...is there a school or sorts for the community around here?" A neutral zone usually inspired growth of the human population around it. With that, especially in a contested area, teaching was needed the most. Elliot had been a wandering educator since leaving Montana. So hopefully he could continue here.

Christine smiled through the whole speech. She felt neither intimidated by his rank, size, nor bluster. Innocence certainly had it's effective wall of resistance. Oooo, her kind frequented here too. This was certainly the place to be right now. It was few and far between up north that she could communicate with her own kind. They tended to be busy elsewhere. These thoughts overwrote whatever Leviathan said after he mentioned prominent Seraphim. Though she did catch the Bigger Picture remark. That made her smile become toothy.

Watching her enemy leave with a warning, Christine waved as he left, smiling sweetly the entire time.

"Oh but my dear fallen, it is you whom have lost your way. This is war, a celestial war, and we are simply biding our time. You become complacent with your human game, I'll keep to the true task at hand." Christine said to herself, as no one was near her to hear it. She waited against the wall, hoping that someone old would walk through the doors soon. This would be a night or remembrance.

~ "The world isn't entirely black and white Christine."
"Mayhaps not, dear Elliot. At least until we're done with it." ~

Elsabeth Perry Carter

Garad just looked down at the boy, noticing the minute changes in him as he physically showed emotions. Raising an eyebrow when he stiffened as Leviathan neared Diablo, speaking and vanishing as he was wont to do. Shaking his head softly with a small sigh, Garad looked at Thomas, his eyes hooded. Opening up his senses, Garad did indeed feel the second summons in him, making him smile. "I see what you mean, she is definitely the predator type is she not. I am unfamiliar with whom she might be. But that is of no concern to me young man. I am just glad that you are still alive ,even if it is hating on both angels and demons. All I ask while you are here, that you respect this establishments rules. No picking fights with the guest, since this is truly neutral ground. Also, if you'd like there is a room for free upstairs for you and yours." he said softly to the young.

She was already a quarter of the way through the door when Elliot spoke to her, making her come to a complete stop. A flush gracing her slender features for a different reason, as a tic appeared under her right eye this time. Taking a deep breath to control the tic, before plastering a half-assed smile on her lips, Elsabeth turned around and looked at the young man. "Well be that as it may, let's not bring up seeing....most of all of me okay. And as long as you and that .....Angel don't get to intrusive I wont do Jack and s**t about it. As for the school, no no there is not. But then again you wont find anyone younger then fifteen or sixteen around here. Most of them are too scared to come out for fear of death in this city, while the rest are either bonded to one faction or another, You should see a few later tonight thought, Garad makes it a habit to make extra food so he can feed them."She said her voice going soft, happy at the end. A small sad wane smile replacing the fake plastered on her lips, as she turned to look at her mentor, who seemed to be in high spirits.
