Alright, well that would change their journey a bit. Really, was it so hard to speak as he had been before? Now they were back to the blabbering of piracy.
"You do need ice. You need ice or your leg is going to blow up like a balloon and hurt even more."

Treasure Hunter was quite aware that they do not have ice on their ship. There were no items that required electricity on board. Nor has he heard of a cooler. "I don't need ice," he went on again. "Just bring me home and let me rest. Time will heal my leg." grasshopper pie i don't know where this rp is going anymore. XD

Dabber pushed his mouth over to one side and shook his head.
"Just give me a second."
Without any more warning, he trotted away, back toward his mother's cafe. When he returned minutes later, he had a bag hanging over one shoulder.
"Okay, come on."
FrostyPeaches I blame Gaia for never telling me you posted. :c Dabber is going to be nice to Treasure and Treasure is going to be nice back, yeah?

The two of them had not covered much ground since they've started their way toward the pirate ship. The Cafe was still within their sight. Barely there and more like a silhouette between other shops, but it was still noticeable. Treasure Hunter watched the green colt wander back into the cafe where his mother had scolded at him not too long ago. He hoped that he would come back because his other hind leg is starting to get tired of supporting all the back weight. Before he could finish muttering 'Arr no good scallywag' under his breath, Dabber had returned with a bag over his shoulder. He watched the bag closely. "Dabber. Is that... treasure?" he asked curiously. grasshopper pie I have been ocd checking for your reply but like you said, gaia doesn't want to tell you anything about my activities. Definitely will get TH to be nice to Dabber so the green colt can earn his kindness element. And also, because i totally want future rps with him/you! Frenemies perhaps?

"No," Dabber said without hesitation, "It's ice."
Although, when you were nursing a bum leg, ice could be its own kind of treasure. Beside, he would never share actual treasure with this thieving scallywag!
... still, he had hurt his leg.
He helped support the colt again and continued on.

"I told ye, I don't need ice..." he muttered and lifted a leg to let the colt help him get to the ship. "We can take a rest on deck," he told Dabber as they were getting near the pier. "Aye, hope ye don't get seasick being on board."

Dabber was not entirely sure he needed a rest, but he kept quiet and continued on down the pier.
"Seasick? Nah. My mom's a... well she's... I mean, she loves the ocean." Mama Sea Whip was something with tentacles, he knew that much. Who knew, he may be a thing with tentacles too!
"Are you gonna be okay?"

"Arr. Your momma loves the ocean too?" he asked, eyes widened in surprise. "Is she a pirate too?" He started to survey on Dabber's looks again and tried to decide whether or not he was actually a landlubber or another scallywag. Upon hearing the colt's question, he looked up at him. "I'll be fine. Could go for some grog though. Getting thirsty."

Grog?! Pirates let their colts drink grog?! Then again, Mama Latte sometimes let them have the coffee with the good stuff in it...
"Oh, uh... no. No, she's... no. She's got tentacles for hair." That explained it pretty well, didn't it? He stood on the deck, peering out at the water as it lolled by. He could get used to this, he thought... just not on a thief's boat.

Treasure Hunter decided to explain himself before he is being misunderstood again. "Arr. Grog without the Rum," he spoke. "But if ye have met Candy Dandy, she made a cauldron like it the other day." He laid down on the deck as a mild wind blew through the entire phonycity. His hind leg seemed to have gone slightly numb from all the walking and he tapped it lightly onto the wood to get some feeling back into it. Little jolts of pain were still present as he tapped. "Arr.. Maybe some of that ice might help, lad..." he went on again. "Say ye, a momma with tentacles for hair?" he asked Dabber, curiously. My what a surprise that was! Treasure Hunter's mind trailed off into thinking that his momma was a siren of some sort. If not, some legendary sea creature that can live on land...

A-ha. So not grog, then. That was good, he supposed.
"Miss Candy is my Mama's friend," he said with a nod. They'd visited her shop more than once, and her candy was so sweet!
...oh, right! The ice! Dabber lifted the bag and pulled it open, removing a small plastic bag of ice. A blue glow roiled around it as the colt laid it gently down on his... uh... his acquaintance's wounded leg. It'd be hard to handle a cold, wet bag with only hooves, he imagined.

His ears perked up as he heard the colt talk about Candy. "Friends? You two are.. then.. well.. well acquainted then?" he asked out of curiosity. He loved eating those salty black circles from that shop. Treasure Hunter flinched as Dabber took something out of the bag. He thought he was drawing out a knife but soon realized that it was a bag of stuff. It felt cold to the touch but soothing for his injured leg. "Ye know, we got off at a bad start. Thanks for this bag," he mumbled pointing at the iced leg.

"Well, I guess so. She's Mama's friend, not mine." They did often get treats and snacks from the shop, though! It was a tasty place to be!
Ah, mention of their beginnings did bring a sour taste, didn't it? He was still not so sure what he felt about the colt, but their relationship could maybe be mended.
...maybe.
"Yeah. You're welcome."

"Candy is a nice lass. Her salty black circles are delicious. Me keeps going back for more," he trailed off and focused on the little green colt again. Despite his rotten attitude, he was a kind one.
What happens next. Should he call truce or keep on being stubborn?
"Arr.. Say mate..." He fidgeted and looked at Dabber with sincerity in his eyes. "We started off on the wrong hoof and me was thinking... Maybe we could try again?"
Treasure Hunter reached into his scarf and tossed a shiny bit at the lad. "For helping me get back home. Me ain't sneaking meself onto your piece of land for treasure." He had no other option. It would have taken him all day to come back here on his own without Dabber's help. "Treasure Hunter. That's me name," he called out with a crooked smile.

Ah, well that made sense, didn't it? He had been out hunting treasure because he was Treasure Hunter. As far as Dabber knew, that was kind o how things worked around here. He still wasn't too fond of the fact that the foal had tried to steal from him, but what could you do? He seemed an alright sort, for a pirate.
"I'm Dabberlocks," he responded with a polite nod. He picked up said shiny bit and smiled. Really? Well then, that was right nice of him.
"Maybe some time we could set out together. A fifty-fifty bargain, hm?" He eyed the boat that Treasure appeared to live on. Very nice...
