Kennet grinned at Uquin's reply. It was a deal, they would trade snacks! It felt good to have that sort of promise, to meet up again and trade things they liked, it was something to look forward to. He hoped that Uquin wasn't lying and that they would, indeed, meet again one day. He liked this guy's hair and his snacks, he was pretty cool.
"See you later, Uquin!" He exclaimed, echoing his brother's wave. "Bring those nuts next time and I'll bring my favorite dried meat! It's Radaku!"

Uquin would have felt guilty for prying and dredging up bad memories, but Yaholo seemed so genuinely kind that he forced himself not to dwell on it. He could understand parents driving children away- in that he sympathized, completely. When he realized the three Alkidike needed to leave, Uquin went a bit wide eyed and nodded, stepping away and smiling at the three of them, raising his hand in a small wave. " Thank you... for the vote of confidence." He said with a smile. Then Uquin turned to the two, nodding at Samoset's thanks, then biting the inside of his cheek at Kennet's promise.
Radaku? People ate those? He'd eaten nuts, pods, and fruit his whole life, it had been what was available - his stomach flipped a bit at the prospect of it. But Kennet seemed so excited that Uquin laughed and nodded his head, patting the pouch at his hip at the mention of it. "I'm looking forward to it. Be safe - all of you." He added, looking one last time at Yaholo before he cut the goodbyes short and turned to leave first, opposite of where Yaholo and his sister were. He needed to deliver the last bits of fixed cloth in his satchel, after all - and they had their own responsibilities.
