He was sore, but all things considered, Heinrich vonCoren found himself very grateful to be alive. After catching his breath, he rolled over onto his stomach and just lay there for a a while. He looked up to the panicked, but beautiful, mare above him. "I'll be okay," he said softly, averting his eyes as he felt a blush creep over the pinks of his ears. "I don't think anything is broken," he said, looking at his large, spindly, awkward limbs.
He looked over the cuts in his flesh and crinkled his nose in distaste. The were nasty to look at, and he was never one for blood and gore. However, they didn't look too bad. He didn't think it punctured anything important - the biggest hurdle from here would probably be infection. He would have to find someone who was good with herds.. or a unicorn. He had learned during his time in the Soquili lands that those kinds were known for healing magic.

"Oh, thank the spirits you're alive!" she exclaimed, finally feeling the tears of relief spill over onto her cheeks. She fell to her knees, so she could be face to face with the fallen stallion, letting out a breath of relief. "I can't believe you're okay! How did you... I would have just died." She shook her head and shuddered. "Oh! You're bleeding!" she said, looking over his wounds.
She felt utterly helpless, however. She didn't know what to do - how to help!? She didn't know medicinal herbs, nor was she a unicorn. Barely more than a filly, she closed her eyes and cried out. "Daddy!" she wailed, beckoning her father to her side; wanting his comfort and the reassurance that everything was going to be okay.

The noble stallion watched as the skinwalker quickly made her escape, and his muscles twitched ferociously under his brilliant colored coat. His vision was almost red - hazy form the hatred of the vile beast that dared to threaten his precious daughter. He almost went after her - almost - until the crying voice of his daughter seemed to pull him suddenly out of his trance of rage.
It was as if someone had poured ice-water over him. The skinwalker was immediately out of his mind as he rushed to his daughter's side. She was sobbing, the whole trauma of the ordeal finally catching up to her.
He quickly looked over the stallion and gave a breath of relief as he seemed mostly okay. He could see the Kalona-winged unicorn making his way back in the distance, and hoped he would be able to use his unicorn horn to help with the wounds. "It's okay, my love," he said, enveloping his precious daughter in his wings and let her cry into her fur. "I won't let anyone hurt you."
