 ℑessie ℳulcahy It wasn't long before Jessie began to tire but she knew she couldn't stop. She wished someone would hurry up and come along. She moved to give a breath before starting the compressions again. "Oh s**t, oh s**t, oh s**t, what do I do!" She tried to remember desperately what Ryan would do in this situation when it came to her. "COMPUTER! Medical emergency... Call the Doctor." She cried out loud before giving another breath and watching to see his chest rise. She was almost out of breath herself but the doctor would come now, at least someone would come now... She hoped.

Wife of Eventide You rang?  ~~Dr. Elizabeth Sadenes~~ "Crewman, I don‘t care if you‘re god-damned President, this is MY Sickbay, and God Himself can wait like everyone else."
In a matter of moments, Dr. Sadenes came through the lift, followed by two attendants with supplies.
"WHat happened?"
In emergency situations, she dispensed with rank and titles.
"Never mind."
Her scanner showed his heart muscles quivering. She held a hand out.
"1cc epi."
One of the SBAs handed her a dispenser, which she promptly put in his system. She applied two small pads to his bare chest, after she ripped open his dress shirt. One was over his left n****e, the other on his right side, on the ribs, below the nippleline
"Clear!"
The pads were voice activated, sending an electrical charge straight to his heart. The scanner showed less quivering.
"Clear!"
Another shock. This time, his heart started beating as it should, though extremely fast.
"Pulse of...255?"
without having to ask, one of the SBAs handed her another dispenser. She pressed it to his neck> After a moment, his heart slowed to 100 beats per minute.
"Code ended. Patient's heart is stable. He should be coming around momentarily."
She put the scanner away and waited for him to regain consciousness. She looked over and smiled at Jessie.
"You have good instincts, my dear. And you were quick to call me. I like that."

Lord Redtail Rathan Awww I was hoping it would be Lurch. ℑessie ℳulcahy Jessie sat back on her haunches trying to catch her breath while the Doctor did her job. She was so grateful they had come so quickly, she'd heard of people who'd had to do CPR for hours before someone else came along to help. She'd even heard of someone accused of manslaughter because they failed to keep going. She watched Favian's face earnestly waiting for him to open his eyes and wake up. What she was most glad of was the fact she'd been to busy watching him go mental for her to get to worn out herself on her own workout.

 ♡❤ ℱavian ℱalk ❤♡ Favian's eyes felt heavy and his arms and his legs. What was going on? It seemed like to much effort to even budge one eyelid open so he just lay there awhile, as he listened to the Doctor speaking above him, though the other person didn't respond he could hear their breathing. Finally he was able to open one eye as he wanted to know who the Doctor was speaking to and saw the lovely redhead from the Sickbay. He shut his eye again until he could open both at the same time. He stared up at them for a long time before he was actually able to speak what he had running through his mind.
"And how did I get to be so lucky? To have such lovely ladies looking over me?" He moved to sit up, at least he thought he did, though his arms didn't actually move. They were jelly from lifting a weight that he wasn't used to.

Sadenes chuckled as she waved her attendants away.
"Child, you just experienced cardiac arrest. A...what's that old word...heart attack! You had a heart attack. Your pulse was incredible. How many cups of blisterweed coffee did you have?"
There was only one thing on the ship that caused that. Well, a few, but Miss Fayne would never be that careless.
"You're going to need rest. And a coffee limit. I personally only drink half a cup. My old heart wouldn't be able to handle more than that."

Lord Redtail Rathan What are you...ohhh! See when I hear that I think the Adams Family. I'm not a Doctor Who fan. ♡❤ ℱavian ℱalk ❤♡ Favain looked at the Doctor as if she were insane. Him... A heart attack? At his age, no way. "Three and a half going on four." He answered slowly as he sat up on his elbows. "Now ladies, there's no need to undress me." He looked down at his open shirt and then around for his suit jacket, it must be around here somewhere. Getting back on topic though, he added. "I don't normally drink coffee at all. I'd just been up for over twenty-six hours and the Captain needed me for another eight. Could hardly say no to her could I?"

Sadenes sighed and put a serious look on her face.
"Mr. Falk, you are to cut back to one cup of blisterweed coffee. You can have normal coffee all you want, but you will be careful around the blisterweed. Do I make myself clear?"
He rarely used titles or rank with people, unless she was pulling her. by all rights, she had the authority to order even Luna around, if it was medical related.

Rose was hobbling herself angrily down the hallway when she heard a woman's voice calling for medic echoing through the halls. It seemed to be coming from the gym. Despite her current annoyance, if someone needed help, she had to go back. She spun on her crutches and hobbled quickly back to the gym, entering right after the doc made her way in. As the doc made her way over to Favian, her eyes widened and a wave of guilt crashed over her. Something was wrong with him and she had assumed he was just kissing on another girl. She couldn't have been more wrong. She stood and stared for a moment, a little too shell shocked to really do much. By the time she moved, Favian had come 'round and was explaining to the doc what was wrong with him.
"Favian.." she breathed, leaning her crutches up against the weight rack next to her and crouching down next to him, her hand finding his. "Are you okay?" she asked, concern flooding her eyes as she brushed a lock of hair back that was stuck to his forehead. She felt horrible that she had assumed the worst of him when in reality he was having a heart attack. He could have died.. or something.. and she just stormed off being pissy. She bit her lip slightly, watching his face carefully. She wasn't really even paying attention to the doc and Jessie or the fact that she was crouching on the floor, putting all of her weight on her feet right in front of the doc.

♡❤ ℱavian ℱalk ❤♡ He laced his fingers through hers and held her hand gently, his arms were still a bit shaky but the rest of him was fine. "Hey You." He said, looking up into her beautiful face. "I'll be fine. What are you doing crouched down like that for, hmmm?" But he couldn't even knock the smile off his face to put on mock indignation. He finally brought a shaking hand up to brush against her cheek. Eventually he realised there were still other people in the room and he dropped his hand and sat up, getting to his feet he pulled Rose up to her's and pulled her against him in a hug, his shirt still undone. He faced the Doctor. "Do you need to take me in for observation or can I just go get some rest in my own bed?"

Rosalie had guilt written in her eyes, but she only hoped Favian wouldn't see it. Or if he could tell, that he wouldn't ask. She didn't feel like telling him about why she felt guilty. She figured he wouldn't be happy with her response. It was hard though. She did trust him, but he didn't exactly have the best history and his flirtatious comments always made her uneasy. She just didn't want him to hurt her.
She smiled gently at him as he laced his fingers through her own, brushing another loose strand of his dark hair out of his face with her free hand. She could tell that his arms were shaky, but other than that he did seem okay. She couldn't help but grin a bit when he said he was fine, immediately asking why she was crouched down the way she was. She rolled her eyes at him jokingly, waving off the comment. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine. You're the one who needs to get some rest and recover right now." she said gently, her grin softening to a a gentle smile as he brushed his shaky hand across her cheek. She brought her free hand up to hold his hand that brushed her cheek, rubbing her thumb across it lightly before she released him. Before he dropped his hand and stood, it was like the two were having their own private moment away from the prying eyes of the other. Neither seemed to have a care in the world but one another.
Favian moved to his feet rather quickly then, pulling Rose up and against his body in one fluid motion. Rather impressive for someone who had just had a heart attack. She cringed slightly at the motion as she pressed off her feet, but hid it well. She leaned against Favian for a moment to steady herself before giving him a gently squeeze and releasing him. She moved to get her crutches from the weight rack, situating herself with him and ignoring the new burning sensation in her feet. Crouching down hadn't been the best idea, but she didn't care. Her eyes drifted from Favian to Doctor Sadenes as she waited for the diagnosis.

Sadenes just watched the two, a small smile on her face.
"Mr. Falk needs rest. Miss Rose, please escort him to his quarters. And try and start off your feet."
She winked at Rose. After all, she'd just witnessed her boyfriend almost die. It was forgivable.

♡❤ ℱavian ℱalk ❤♡ Favian looked over at Rose and winked at her. "Looks like the invalid has to escort the desirable heart throb to his quarters. Who knows what could happen on our journey. What challenges we might face."
He turned to the Doctor. "Thanks Doc for saving my life. It would have been a sad sad day for everyone if I had died." He looked over at Jessie who had been standing towards the back now that she seemed to be out of the limelight. "I need to thank you also don't I?" She shook her head modestly."Not at all, you would have done the same I'm sure.""You bet I would have!" He winked at her too. He moved to get his jacket off the floor and tucked his shirt in more so that he didn't have to do up the buttons just yet. He turned to Rose, "Want me to carry you? That way we can both fall down."

Rose's eyes landed on the doctor when she spoke, grinning when she winked at her. "Will do Doctor." she said with a smile, turning her attention back to Favian when he spoke again. She laughed gently and rolled her eyes jokingly at him again when he started talking about their journey back to his quarters. He was being ridiculous, but it made everything much more lighthearted and kept her mind off the fact that he could have died. She listened as he gave his thanks, not even caring that he winked at Jessie, it didn't bother her. He didn't look at Jessie anywhere near the way he looked at her. She smiled gently to herself and watched as Favian tucked his shirt in a little and scooped his jacket up off the floor. "No, I can walk. Come on, let's get you to bed." she said with a grin, taking his hand and squeezing it. She then released his hand and started hobbling forward, making sure to keep him at her side as they made their way out of the gym and into the hall.

Ryan wandered into the gym, wearing a grey sleeveless shirt and black shorts. His cane was back in his quarters and a white towel was over his shoulder.
"Oh, hey beautiful. I'd wondered where you'd disappeared off to."
He kissed Jessie when he got close to her, one arm around her waist.
"Have you gotten your workout in, yet?"
In his other hand, he carried a padd, given to him by one of the security officers. With no Chief of Security, Ryan offered to at least help out until they'd assigned a new one. And he refused to let Luna appoint him.
Drift away from all these city lights,

ℑessie ℳulcahy "Hey Baby! No not really, a little emergency came up."
She put both her hands on his shoulder and stood on tiptoe to kiss the top of his head softly.
"What's that, you've got there?"
She asked nodding to the pad in his hands before she moved out of his grasp and back over to the treadmill, setting it to a low pace and turning the incline right up.
"Love your gear by the way, looking very cute!" She gave him a cheeky grin as her legs strode out and her hands grasped the handles.
