Rihan's threat meant nothing to Blake. He wasn't the same fighter he met before and was willing to prove it. He was a bit taken back as Lumina drew her sword at him. He just barely caught her moving before she closed the gap between them. He purposely leaned into the blade as it pierced his throat, only to heal instantly after leaning back. If you want to take my soul back, take it. Just don't think I'll give it up all nice-like. Dropping the issue he turned to their guide as he pointed out the bridge. I think I'll fly across if that's cool with you...

Matt stood a top one of the burnt out cars, slightly ahead of the rest of the group. He could hear them arguing loudly, weapon being drawn and threats being issued, 'Verdammt! They're all so loud!', he thought to himself as he looked around the area surrounding them.
The group had been so busy arguing they had failed to notice one thing. Their was no souls, lots of bodies, but no souls. Curious. Matt concentrated for a second, seeing if he could pick up anything with his advanced soul perception.
There was the group, but there was something else on the edge of Matts range, human, maybe once but not anymore, even at this range Matt could see how deformed and twisted it was, what a horrible fate.
Matt shook his head as he jumped down from the car, landing lightly on his feet,"If you're all about done making enough noise to wake the dead, then we should get moving.", he called back softly to the rest of the group, "Oh, unless you want to carry on fighting and attract the natives. If that's the case be my guests, but me and my Meister want to succeed this mission, with a minimum potential of injury and I imagine your goals are similar. At the moment you're all wasting energy arguing with each other when you should be concentrating, I don't give a damn how powerful you all claim to be, all of you quiet the hell down."

Kiara just ignored thier fighting, it was of no interest to her as she and her partner were here to complete this mission with or without them, she made her way over towards Matt, unlike most meisters Kiara lacked any sort of soul perception but luckily her part was able to make up for the flaw. Kiara listened as Manuel spoke up about which way they could go so she decided to think about it, it couldn't be the only way into the city for sure. After her partner had gave off his speech she spoke to him softly "If they want to argue and fight between themselves then let them Matt, let the foolish tire themselves out and waste thier time, it is no concern of ours as we know what we're here for." she turned her head to look at him before continuing "So what did you see? i assume our guide is correct in that this bridge is guarded at the entrance to the city, most likely have some patrols aswell."

Just give me a minute. Rihan begins to mask his own presence, making himself as easy to overlook as part of the scenery. Soon a wispy black smoke clouds him from the others vision and senses. Rihan goes off undetected,and takes out the patrols.

Blake took to the sky as Rihan went to deal with the patrols. Watching overhead he could see the city come closer into view. With time alone he decided to delve back into his subconscious. Yo Yo? Don't ''yo'' me, you said not to cause trouble but then you turn around and do just that. Yeah, sorry about that. Got a little excited. Well don't do it again, this is serious. If you're the cause of anyone dying I won't let it go...By the time Blake finished talking to himself he had flown a bit ahead of the rest of the group. Guess I'll just wait... Looking around he found a car that wasn't too burnt down. Opening one of the doors to the passenger seat, he planed to rest as the others made their way down the highway. In the driver-seat was a skeleton that had been scorched by the flames. Blake's eyes had gained a depressed look to them the more he looked at the skeleton. Leaning back in the seat he pulled out a cigarette and lit the end with a blue flame.

Matt watched as Rihan disappeared and Blake took to the sky. 'Damn, why can't me and Kiara do cool stuff like that? I suppose we haven't really tried anything like that, but still...', he thought to himself. Matt turned his head to look at Kiara, "I didn't see very much, there are definitely living creatures here, some of them appear to have been human once. The one I saw had a murky soul, so it appeared to be using a primative form of Soul protection, nothing special, but enough to deceive the untrained eye. I'd quite like to see if these creature are aware that they have shrouded souls or if it's a form of natural Soul protection, maybe you could collect some of their blood if it takes your fancy.", Matt shrugged slightly.
Suddenly Matt felt a familiar prickle run through his head, his Soul perception picking something up. Suddenly a form pulled itself over the edge of the bridge. It was vaguely humanoid, but it's limbs were much longer than any humans had natural right to be and it's face and body was mutated so badly it was impossible to identify a gender.
The creature gave a strange warbling cry as it charged towards the group, moving on all fours at incredible speed. Matt stepped forward slightly his right hand turning silver and then lengthening into a blade, he then stepped to the left slightly, swinging his right arm upwards as his did so. Scarlet blood blossomed into the air, as a deep cut appeared in the creatures throat. Th creature gave another of its strange crys before collapsing to the ground, where it lay still. "Suppose that's one way to make an entrance.", Matt grunted as he shook his right arm, removing as much blood as possible before transforming his hand back to a hand.

Kiara watched as both Blake and Rihan both left for different reasons, this was good she thought as it ment there was going to be less fighting in the group, atleast until they all group up again but who knows until that point. Listening to Matt as he spoke and speaking up after he finished "I suppose i shall if we find one of them, the more we learn about this place and what has happened will allow us to act accordingly to each and every situation we run into."
Kiara turned to face the creature that was climbing up over the side of the bridge, her face remained the same as it had been since they arrived here, it was a look of disinterest as she knew her partner could easily take the creature down judging from how it attacked the group. She watched as Matt changed his hand into a silver blade then proceed to slice the creatures throat, all the time she remained motionless until she noticed the blood in the air from the attack. Kiara extended out her hand and the blood stopped in mid air, she braught the blood infront of her face and split it in half which she then proceed to drink one half down, Kiara could taste the corruption that this place had forced on everything here "Thier blood is tainted just as they are, i believe prolonged exposure to this place would cause some serious issues on the mind and body."
Reaching to her belt to grab an empty vial, she opened up the lid and proceeded to store the rest of the blood in the vial, Kiara looked over at matt as he was trying to get blood off his hand so she took control of whatever blood was left on his, moving it into the vial with the rest before putting the lid back. She held it up infront of her face, shaking it around abit "I feel sorry for anybody who survived the inital take over only to be exposed to all this corruption.

As the group neared the end of the bridge, they would see an overturned 18 wheeler blocking the way. Although it was invisible to the naked eye, the group would be able to sense a force-field behind the 18-wheeler spanning the width of the bridge. Whatever it was, it was powerful. There would be no way for the group to simply break through it. In front of the 18-wheeler stood what looked like two skeletal knights in dark armor. As the group approached, the two knights remained silent, staring straight ahead and making no movements. They didn't seem to acknowledge the presence of the group at all. Manuel said nothing, instead fluttering his wings briefly and lifting himself on top of a nearby truck, crossing his legs and leaning his chin on his hand as he waited to see what the group would do with this situation; evaluating them. The energy from the force-field was inextricably tied to the skeletons, though in what way would be unclear.

Blake woke up in the car as his cigarette burnt out. Looking around he noticed the group caught up to him so he moved on ahead. A little while later he Came across the two skeletons guarding the bridge. He hid behind some cars and observed closely. Those two must be whats keeping the force-field up. Guess I should greet them... Coming up from behind the cars, Blake walked with enthusiasm as came up to the skeletons. Keeping a two foot distance from them he asked his question. Hey, can you guys talk? Cause if you can, I'd like to learn your names. Before I kill you both that is... In one swift motion, Blake sent two flying slashes toward the skeletons.

Kiara remained silent as the group had continued down the highway, she couldn't quite get the taste of the corruption out of her mouth. When the group was reaching closer to the end of the bridge, she noticed an overturned 18 wheeler aswell as skeleton guards standing infront of it by this time, Blake had rejoined them as had Rihan but niether of them were arguing anymore which was good. Kiara watched as Blake walked over towards the skeletons and speak to them "He's going to get himself hurt if he continues like this." She said softly, turning her head towards her partner "Shall we wait or shall we attack one of them?"

At first the knights did nothing as the group got close to them. They stood stock still staring straight ahead. "Umm...Mr. Blake...." Manuel warned. But before he could finish his warning, Blake had launched his attack. Both skeletal knights literally exploded into pieces as Blake's attack hit them, sending shards of black armor and bleached bone all over the highway. For several moments nothing happened, then slowly the pieces of armor and bone began to gather back together. In moments they had returned to their full state, but this time they reacted. They both turned towards Blake as he was the only aggressor so far. Each one moved forward, raising their shields as they advanced towards Blake. The first one that got close enough swung its sword straight towards Blake's neck to try and decapitate him while the second one swung low at his side. The two still had their shields raised slightly and were covering each other, making it impossible to cause any damage to them from the front.

It didn't surprise Blake as the skeletons re-formed after being hit by his attack. he'd just have to try again. As the skeletons aimed for his neck and mid section, he jumped back guarding his neck. A small cut would form just below his rib as he regained his stance. Ok, not gonna be as easy as I thought. Still, their purpose is to guard so their stamina is high, you'll have to end this quick or the fight will drag on... Blake's wound disappeared as he wiped his hand across it. Gotta love magic! The ground under him began to crack as he built up pressure and energy around his leg. In one go he launched himself at the skeletons. He fired multiple energy shots at one, then sent his kick into the shield of the other in order to break it.
