Otto managed a quick smirk that faded too soon. "Nuthin' comes to mind, readily. I assure you half the time I'm not thinkin' of anythin', or I'm thinkin' of food." That was a lie. It was more like 30% of the time. The rest of it was spent worrying and self doubting and the like.

An answering smirk lit up to follow his. "I've been craving fresh fruit on an almost painful level lately, so I definitely understand always having food on the mind." Pale eyes flicked to the pies. They helped.

"I've lucked out. I got Kostya makin' me home cooked dinners every day for a year. He kinda has to make due with whatever the island has but it beats powdered steak flavoured blocks of wood."
He leaned back in his chair. "The other night was pizza."
