Yelena chuckled and shrugged as he spoke. But then blushed even more when he called her brave. "I don't think it is brave I just don't want to let others change the way I want to live my life. No matter what I'll have to deal with things. I don't blend in anywhere. So no matter what I'd have to deal with things. I honestly wouldn't call it brave but that is sweet of you to say something like that. I am sorry your mother's friend won't visit and that she misses her." She looked over at the two adults and giggled. They were so adorable she couldn't help but giggle. She saw the nipping and the lack of a reaction from The father as the mother kept that up. "I can see that especially with your parents. Are you like that?" She smiled as he laughed. He was so handsome when he did that. She blushed more as she thought that. No bad thoughts maybe she should leave and let him go back to his normal life with his friends. She didn't think it would end well for him if others saw him with her. She heard the delighted growl and smiled.

"Really? You've never had someone chew on your leg? You must be missing something then." She teased. She giggled as he scolded his mother and chew toys. "Are you a chew toy?" She winked at him but then blushed. "Does he like having leathery skin?" She grinned as he shook his head and she shrugged. "My father needed me out of the house for a few days so I was trying to figure out where to stay. But I can figure something out. I was just looking at the different crystals and such. I like them they are very pretty." She laughed and looked at him with an arched brow. "Does that line work on ice girls?" She thought it had to be a line he was just messing with her and would kick her out. But her intuition was saying something else. But still she would wait before trusting it. Her eyes brightened up at the word candy. "Oh I love candy." She laughed as she saw his mock scowl it was so cute. But then she forced those thoughts away. A guy like him as gorgeous as he was would already have a girlfriend or many girls vying for his attention and he wouldn't want a mutt like her.

"You want a girl to chew on you too?" She laughed. "You are an odd one. Maybe you are a chew toy and just don't know it yet." She nodded her head. "Ah so I guess in his mind it is useful. Why does he have so many scars?" She looked back at him as he watched her and tilted her head. She touched her feather necklace and fiddled with it unsure of what he was thinking. "I couldn't stay here. I don't want to impose." She shook her head. She didn't want to cause problems for his parents or anyone else they seemed so nice. Yelena nodded again. "Yes when you met me I was looking at different necklaces. There were some really nice ones with gems and bones. And the metal working was nice. I was just admiring them." She snorted again. "Your line about how pretty I am and how you'd remember if you saw me. I'm sure you would remember but not because I'm anything pretty to look at. You'd remember because of how different I am and the comments you'd have heard." Yelena shrugged and looked at him. Yep no way one like him would settle for a mutt. He'd go for someone pure and perfect. "And how much candy do you have?"

Yelena smiled. "True very true. Fighting often does cause scars." She shrugged and shifted her weight from foot to foot. "How do you know if I'm sane? Maybe this is all just an act. You don't really know me. And why would you invite some stranger to stay in your home?" A giggle burst from her mouth as the mother called out to Kiyelt. "Yes there are some very amazing crafts being made here. I've admired quite a few of them." She fiddled with her necklace more as he stared at her. Why was the handsome ice guy staring at her like that? She laughed a bit of a hard bitter laugh but then it turned back into her normal laugh. "No I don't think I'm pretty. Only one who has ever said anything sweet about the way I look is my father. Everyone else says cruel and crude things about my looks. And yes I have looked in a mirror and it shows someone who doesn't blend in anywhere. You have some nice lines but you might want to use them on some pretty ice girl who would be a good fit for you." She shook her head as he spoke. No her uniqueness wasn't a powerful thing or a good thing.

Her eyes brightened as he spoke about there being candy hidden. She loved candy and she watched him walk to another room. She heard the sounds and waited for him to come back. Seeing the leather bag she looked at it and then at him. "Thank you. Though I don't get why you are being so nice to me. But still thank you even if it is all some line." She took one of the ones he poured into her hand and popped it into her mouth. She savored the taste and giggled at the strange face he made. "You really love candy huh?"

Yelena smiled and laughed as he called out to his mother to confirm what he had been saying. She watched him and waited to hear what his mom said. But she wasn't sure what that would help. Even if the woman said he never brought other girls home that didn't mean he wasn't a player and a flirt. She heard the giggle and smiled at what the mother said in response. Though again she didn't know if that meant anything. She blushed when she was called pretty and ducked her head. She pushed her dread locks out of her face. "That is very kind of you to say." She chuckled as he kept speaking. She wasn't looking for anyone. "By laugh do you mean at or with?" She teased him. She shrugged at that next part. "I don't know who wouldn't like candy. Someone who is crazy maybe? But you seem to like it a lot more than most people."

Yelena smiled as he spoke. "Alright though not sure what I've done to make you laugh." She grinned as she listened to him and then rolled her eyes. "Yes what a deprived boy you have been. I don't know how you have survived for as long as you have." She teased him. She laughed when he started to get all dramatic and bit her lip gently to hide it. "Yeah sure horribly abused." She laughed more as he waggled his eyebrows and laughed too. She shrugged. "I didn't really have any plans on where to go. Maybe explore to see what else is around here since the ice people seem to not like me. But I truly don't know. Where are you going?"

Yelena couldn't understand it but as he spoke she felt like she was about to cry. She was just too emotional and being around him for some reason made her even more emotional than she normally was. She forced the tears back down and focused on his hair. He was going to leave and the thought of never getting to see him again or talk to him again made her want to curl up into a ball and sob. She forced these emotions down as she listened to what he had to say. "I've never seen one of those before in my life but someday I hope I can see one. I want to explore and travel. I hope you get what you want out of your travels and get to meet someone amazing. Maybe you'll meet someone truly special on your travels. I hope you have a good time." She bit her lip hard as her lower lip trembled. She hoped he hadn't noticed that. She nodded. "Yes that sounds very pretty." Her voice was soft so it didn't break and it had lost the musical sounds it usually held. She looked down at the candy in her hand and slowly are one. Maybe that would help her not cry. She wasn't even sure why she wanted to cry but she did and it was so odd. She not her lip more as she are another candy.

Yelena looked at Kiyelt as she ate another candy and wondered what it was he was thinking about. She smiled as he spoke but she was till too emotional. "I hope we can meet agin. But the world is so big even if you travel all over it how will we ever meet again?" She figured once he left he would find some perfect respected girl and go with that girl. But in her day dreams she knew now what guy would be staring in them. The one she had thought was a figment of her imagination. she blushed as that thought flitted through her brain no way was she going to be telling him what she had thought that wound't end well in her opinion. Her intuition was telling her to trust him and she wanted to but she was still hesitant to. She frowned as he stood up and walked away. She wiped away tears quickly and took deep breaths to hide the fact that any tears had fallen at all. She looked normal once he came back and she looked at what was in his hand.

It looked like a necklace but she wasn't really sure what it was supposed to be. She saw the leather strands too and watched him to see what he would do. She saw him snap the pendant in two that was such an odd thing to do why would he break it? But then he threaded them onto the leather straps. She took the one he offered and ran her fingers over the cool metal. It felt so nice in her hands and seeing him put his on she tied hers on around her neck and touched the cold metal. She blushed as he spoke about tempting fate. "How is this us tempting fate?" She hoped it was magic or something like that. It would be so nice if it was. She really wanted to see him again and couldn't understand why she did. She giggled when he said she could kick his friend's hinnies if they had a problem with her wearing this. "I assume you think they will have a problem with this. And I didn't know I needed your permission." She teased him.

Her fingers fiddled with the necklace more as she looked at him. he was so handsome and he was here with her for some reason. Yelena nodded. "Maybe it does. Thank you for this it is really kind of you to give me something like this. Is this necklace something special to you?" She giggled as he looked at Inui and asked her about that. She reached a hand out to pet Inui. "I'm sure you have it already you are such a smart and talented girl."
