People who play with the lives of others are Gods? Would the Gods really try and use us as Pawns? If so are the Demons the same as us?

                                                                                Step. Step. Step. Stop.

A dark haired boy with a hoodie underneath his uniform, which didn't look that bad, walked into the dorm he was given. His face was filled with nothing but a blank stare and frown upon his face. He didn't want to be here. He didn't want to be here at all, but he had to transfer. Transferring was the only way for him to find himself, and where he last was was not a place he would be able to find himself. So, without much complaints, he had to move to True Cross Academy.

Hopefully this school wasn't as stupid as his thoughts were making it out to be.

During his time walking around looking for the darn house he was supposed to be in, he had seemed to have scared most of the teachers as he asked them where he was supposed to be going. He could feel the fear. It was incredibly delicious. Each time he felt it, he tipped his words off with a wide malicious looking grin before walking off, chuckling to himself. He knew that this year would be fun. Messing with the students was also a great goal to do too.

On his way to the actual Academy, he had eaten a banana and finished it as he walked onto the campus. He had a devious plan and dropped the banana on the floor the moment a first year student walked by him. That moment was the funniest moment in his whole day. He hadn't laughed so hard. He laughed so hard to the point he held his stomach in slight pain. Of course the kid cried, but whatever. It wasn't his business anyway. So, without much of a do, he had hurried inside to get to his dorm before he was told on.

                                                                                Now, here he was.

Standing in the dorm he was given and forced to endure long years of agony and the fact he might not even make a friend. I mean, who in their right mind would want to hang with a crazy lunatic like him? Well, apparently not anyone in their right mind of course. He had already gave himself a bad reputation after pushing and cursing out a rather obnoxious teacher on his way to his dorm. He was sure they weren't from his House, but that didn't mean he wouldn't see them from time to time. Besides, that teacher deserved it. Who told them to get in his way anyway? If he could, he would have killed them, but he'd hold that type of reputation for later years.

He had two suitcases and a back-pack with him. The two suitcases were black with dark red zippers. He pulled them along with their handles, listening to the wheels drag behind him as he had pulled them along the halls into his dorm room. His back-pack was rather big, but there was nothing in it, so he had it sagged down by it's straps slightly. His uniform shirt, the jacket, and the vest looked rather big on him too. The sleeves would hang past his fingers a good inch or two, but he didn't mind. He enjoyed baggy clothes. He did like skinny jeans however, but since that was against the dress code, he had them folded with more of his outfits he brought along with him. They never said anything about 'not being able to wear sweaters underneath the uniform', right? Of course they didn't. That would be stupid. But for now, he was stuck having to wear the dumb uniform until he was able to wear his usual dark attire. Hell, maybe one day he might just not care about the rules and just have one of his black or dark red outfits on. They can't truly punish him that badly for that, so he was sure that would be something he would do for a day. Probably more than one day, who knew?

But back on the subject of him actually standing in the dorm, staring blankly at the bed provided for him. He had asked for a dorm on his own, which he appreciated, but they said that it might change and someone might come join in with him later on in the year, probably even sooner. That fact annoyed the boy completely. He wanted to have his own room the whole time he was here, but sadly, he was forced to endure most of the other years with someone he probably wouldn't like. As long as they didn't piss him off, they would be fine, but as of today, everyone was annoying him. So, he was waiting for the day they gave him a room mate. That would be the day.

                                                                                Clack. Clack. Plop.

He had dropped his suitcases on the floor and fell onto his bed. He felt too drained to do much, but he knew that he had to eventually. He had to walk around the place, get a feel for it. But he didn't want to. At all. But, sadly, as he sat up and removed the back-pack from his back, he had to get up and explore. That was their first thing requested to do after they got comfortable in their dorms. He had to do it, even if he didn't want to. He just had to do something. He wasn't much for being bored too. Maybe he could find someone to bother in the halls. That would be rather fun. With a large grin finally plastered on his face at the idea of making another person cry, he got up and started to unpack.

Opening up the first case, he pulled out all his folded clothes and placed them in the drawers. Anything like a shirt or pants were put there. Next, he pulled out all his sweaters and took out the hangers his mom had supplied him with. He put each sweater on a hanger and placed it in the closet provided with the room. He stopped to check around the room and soon checked in his first suitcase to see if he forgot anything. One he saw that he didn't, he soon placed the suitcase underneath his bed and went on to the next one.

The second suitcase was filled with more clothes, but less than the first one. Pulling out the rest of them and placing them where they have to go, he soon went to his back-pack and opened it up. Pushing the second suitcase underneath his bed without double checking, he went through his back-pack and he pulled out two reading books and placed them on the desk next to the bed. He really hoped that he would be alone. That would make his years so happy. He sighed at the thought of never finding peace and placed his back-pack in the corner of the closet before standing in the middle of the room and looking around. Once he felt satisfied, he glanced at the door and walked to it. He hesitated a little as he reached for the knob.

He felt like there was something he was forgetting.

He gasped in realization and hurried back to the bed and sunk down to his knees. He reached under the bed and pulled out his second suitcase hastily and opened it up again. He sighed in relief. His katanas were here. Both of them. Good. He pulled them out and looked at the straps on the hilt. They were secure. Again, good. He pulled out a red long bag that was used to hold them and unzipped it. He placed the two swords in it and securely zipped it back. He smiled happily. Today had just gotten good. Finally feeling secure enough to leave his dorm, he walked towards the door and opened it. He soon walked out and down the hallway.

The hallway was strangely empty. No one was around. Strange. Maybe they had hurried off somewhere with friends, leaving the dorms and halls empty. Good. He can stroll along by himself. Humming to himself and walking down the hall, he was sure nothing could go wrong until he heard the sound of glass breaking. He froze in mid step and settled his foot down. He kept still so he could hear what had broken, or if someone had broken something. He heard low growling, like a dog. Maybe some idiot brought a dog in and it broke something. Great. He blinked as the growling turned into heavy pants and snarling and slowly crept to the corner of the hall he was in and peeked past it, seeing that the glass had been broken, but couldn't see much after that. He peeked out more and soon saw a dog or a hound of some kind. But smelling the air, he could tell that was no regular dog.

                                                                                It was a demon.

He didn't realize he was staring at it until he heard it snarl in his direction. It had seen him. He blinked and watched it run to him. He quickly moved back and stepped back slowly as it had reared the corner and stopped to study him. It was a mere few feet in front of him. When he would step back, it would move forward. He had to do something. And fighting was the only thing to do. He slowly unzipped the bag he had on his back and pulled out his two katanas with one hand. He stepped back as he unsheathed them both with the other free hand; the demon stepped forward. He exchanged the sheathes and the katanas and used the hand that held the sheathes to put them back in the bag. He slowly dropped the bag, which caused the demon dog to snarl. He stepped back twice, and the demon then lunged at him with the intent on killing him. He quickly stepped a few inches to the side so he dodged it, but barely. It landed on it's paws and growled. It started to circle him slowly. The boy got into a stance and knew that if he didn't fight, he would be done for if he wasn't careful.

On the bag he had put down, the name 'Lucifer D. Fuzen' was etched onto it in a black marker.

Heavy breathing can be heard after minutes of grunting and growling.

Lucifer had taken the beast down.

It had lunged at him after going for a bite to his throat, but the dark-haired teen quickly brought his blades up and crossed them in an X-shape, causing the hound to get it's nose and most of it's snout sliced open. The boy had then rushed towards it and it rushed towards him. It jumped for him, but Lucifer ducked down and he rose his blades and stabbed it upwards, but had closed his eyes. He kept still for a bit until he realized that nothing had moved around him. He opened his eyes as blood dripped from the demon and onto his face. He had stabbed it through the middle of it's chest and it's abdomen, causing internal damage to it's heart. He turned on his side and rested the dying beast on the floor before using his foot to help pry his blades from it's body. He soon stood up and released the oxygen he had been holding in his lungs for over a minute. His heart was racing, but he had to calm down. There was going to be more, he could feel it, so be careful was the only thing he was capable of doing.

He walked over to the bag he had thrown down and strapped it on. He took a minute to register what he was already planning on doing, and once he did, he looked back at the demon hound he had taken down single-handedly, probably, and mostly, by pure luck. If he wasn't careful, he wouldn't be as lucky as just now. He had to use his strength to take them down, and if not, his ability to run, so, without much other thought than to kill more, Lucifer had walked away from the body before rounding the corner he had peeked out of earlier.

He walked over to the window that had shattered and wondered what was going on. He was sure that they were pretty high up, but he only guessed the demon hound could jump rather high, seeing as it could lunge pretty far too. He sighed, wondering if it was the only one to come through the window, where would the others be? He wondered where he could possibly look for them, cause he sure wasn't going to allow them to wonder around. His mom always told him that fighting a good fight didn't mean how much people were fighting beside you, but the dedication of winning in that battle. He would follow through his Mom's words straight through, so he was going to look for those demons and defeat them himself. He adjusted the bag on his back before continuing down the hall.

As he rounded the corner once more of the two-way hallway, he heard growling coming from behind him. He was sure that there was two of them, because that's what it sounded like, but when he reared his head behind him, there was three. One wasn't growling, but just staring. Lucifer gulped and turned towards them, and once he did, one lunged after him and the other followed suite. He quickly rose his arms and slashed towards them but that opened one of his arms up and his arm was caught in the teeth of the second on that had lunged to him. He panicked as it bit down hard and screamed in pain. Before the other one could lunge at him again, he quickly rose his free arm and dug it into the demon's dog-like body, feeling it releasing him before howling in pain. It had fell to the ground and Lucifer quickly spun to counterattack the other one that had lunged at him. As he deflected the dog and it circled around him, he glanced at the one that had stayed stationary.

Was this dog studying him? Waiting for him to finish off his brothers?

It's eyes just stared deep into his own as his made contact. He didn't do much though. Lucifer glared at it before hearing the dog circling him pounce. He quickly rose his blade in an upwards motion and watched as blood sprayed everywhere. He had somehow, stabbed a feet or two through the hounds snout and down past it's head until he reached the neck. He watched the body of the hound fall and soon looked over at the stationary one. He breathed heavily, watching and it soon stood up and stepped forward towards. Lucifer glared, readying his weapon before he heard more demon hounds behind him. He quickly turned to see a whole group of 6 behind him. His eyes widened. He stepped back and quickly turned to the one that had kept still.

                                                                                It had vanished.

Lucifer cursed under his breathe and watched two of them lunge at him. Getting a feel for their patter of attack, he ran forward, holding his Katanas in an X-shape and quickly slashed outwards, cutting a rather deep scar through their faces. They ran past him and soon another two jumped out at him, but at the same time they did, the two that had crossed behind him lunged for his back. He quickly dodged underneath them, causing them to collide into one another. He turned to the remaining two and growled. He ran to them and jumped up high into the air. They snarled at him, but he quickly came down with his Katanas going straight through their brains, cancelling all blood flow and causing them to go down. He looked back at the four he was dealing with and ran towards them. He growled in irritation as all for of them jumped up at him.

                                                                                ----------------

It had been about 3 hours or so as he came out from another hall he had been in after turning millions of corners. He had dealt with over 50 of them so far and he had blood all over his body, some bite marks on his arms and legs as well. His bag had a scar going through it, but that was it. Luckily the bite marks weren't too fatal. His Katanas were drenched in blood. They didn't rip pieces of his body apart, so he had energy, but not a lot of it. He hoped those were the last of them though. His body was growing weak and feeling weak didn't make him feel good. He needed to rest. If he didn't, he might just pass out. Going around another corner for the millionth and one time, he stopped as he saw one more, but it was the same one that had ran off before.

It was studying him again. And he didn't understand why.

Lucifer glared, breathing heavily and quickly ran to it. It just stood there, but when he reached it, it had jumped completely over him, landed behind him, and headbutted him in the back. He fell over and hissed as his wounds were practically stretching open. He laid there as a pool slowly started to form underneath him. He could hear it getting closer. He didn't know what else to do. He shook his head and slowly got up, and just when it was about to bite into his leg, he yelled in anger and stabbed his Katanas downwards. He had stabbed it in it's head and it gripped onto him with it's teeth softly. He stayed still until it let him go and he breathed heavily as he was sure that resting was a good option. He felt exhausted.

He glanced around quickly after hearing more growls and dashed for the closest door in the vicinity. Walking in, he saw that it was a custodians closet. He looked at the door and locked it. He walked to the furthest corner of the closet and sat down. His wounds were starting to get to him. He needed to look for something to help him. He glanced around and saw a pill bottle on the floor. Quickly picking it up, he wondered his red eyes over the label.

                                                                                "Pain killers".

He opened it up and took two pills before closing it. There was only 4 of the pills in there. He swallowed the two he took down and sighed, breathing heavily. He felt so tired. Very tired. He threw the bottle aside before closing his eyes. He slowly drifted off into a light sleep, hoping and waiting. He needed rest.

He needed it badly. Very badly...

The sound of banging and smoke had been able to wake Lucifer up from the slight sleep he had been able to get.

He quickly got up off his feet and covered his nose from all the smoke protruding into the closet he had been in. The banging was coming from outside. Must have been the rest of those dumb demons trying to get at him. They obviously weren't far from him though, they seemed to be getting rather good cracks of the door out, causing the door to weaken from their continuous smashing.

He growled and stretched a bit. Well, at least he didn't die. That was good enough for him. He stepped back and had his Katanas at the ready, ready to slice open the demon hounds when they entered, but soon enough, they disappeared and the banging stopped. He blinked, wondering what had happened and soon opened the door slowly.

He swung it wide open at the site of fire coming into the halls. His eyes widened and he couldn't help but break out. His wounds still hurt, but they had closed up a bit. He looked a mess. But he was going to look more of a mess if he didn't get the hell out of here! He looked around and carefully, but quickly, followed the most visible path through the fire without getting caught by a flame. He hoped he would find the exit to this place soon. He wanted to get out and breathe actual air, not the gases coming from the dumb fire!

He walked more until he saw two of the demons in the distance. He blinked, becoming still as they seemed to be sniffing out anyone else that was still around so they could get rid of them. He growled and ran towards them, catching a piece of his bag on fire and quickly slashed down at them. There was just two of them, so nothing should be wrong about it. He slashed at one of the hounds and soon was able to catch a good amount of it's head with his blade. He pinned it down and stabbed it repeatedly with his other free blade, soon using his foot to pry his blades from it's head and body. He sighed, soon feeling pressure hit his back as he was jumped by the other dog.

He should have known this would have happened.

He felt the teeth start biting into his neck and he gasped for air, flailing drastically. This was what he got for taking a nap; but he was far from dying! Before the teeth could sink any deeper, he used up most of his energy to pry it off with one hand and stab it through the upper part of it's head with his other free hand. He huffed as the adrenaline started to pump through his blood stream. He needed to get out of here.

He quickly discarded the burning bag of his and quickly made his way to an exit. Hopefully, he wouldn't be blocked in anymore. Hopefully, he would be okay.

                                                                                [e x i t]

Ghouls have appeared in the area, due to the growing amount of Miasma. Miasma is very dangerous to humans, but in terms of demons it doesn’t harm them as much. The following system is in place for the Miasma not including the demons it has brought forth:

Humans within this area will lose 5 Mobility per post
Demons and Half Demons within this area will lose 2 Mobility per post

The Miasma is less concentrated here but at the rate it’s traveling it’ll take over the school. The Miasma here has a total of 100,000 Qi built up. Destroying the Miasma will take time. It is acidic and melts through everything including metals, so caution is advised. The Miasma will lose its power as time goes on, lowering it’s Qi amount by 200 every five posts. The Miasma can be attacked directly which will lower its Qi. Fatal Verses that target demons of Rot and the Golden Flames will burn through the Miasma which can eventually destroy it. Please understand that the Miasma is traveling through the areas, and will eventually overrun the Academy completely if it is not stopped.

From the skies Garuda could see everything, especially after the barrier that her master created back at his current strong hold had illuminated the area. She stopped moving towards House Kurthnaga as she saw the Miasma was closing in and she had received her orders from her master. ”I understand.” she sung as her wings flapped hard and she became like a missile as she entered the miasma creating a hole through the cloud as she was circled by a massive wall of wind and she called out the name of the spell after breaking through the area. ”Mafu Heki (Wind Wall)!” With the connection of her body to the ground the wind expanded outwards as used her Qi to connect into the gas. The Ghouls that approached or was in the way of her original dive into the fog of poison were not spared. They were devoured by the very wind. The tornado that she created cut her off from the outside world, and slashed through everything that came in contact with it, as if it was a rotating torrent of swords rather than wind. The wind poked at the poison gas until it managed to cut through the top. Garuda looked around and noticed that she had yet to run into any of the upper level exorcist. She dispelled the wind and took to the skies once more In order to rid herself of the disgusting smell that had stained her beautiful body. ”Master, I believe this might be a little more taxing on your body than you wish it to be. I believe I should attack from within to ensure we lower the number of demons as well as this mist of evil.”

Innocentius had arrived after Gaurda’s twister had broken through the center of the Miasma and soon she was within the sky speaking to her master. Innocentius could feel the lower amount of energy that was coming from his master before growling lowly at the woman. ”Hey woman! Don’t drain the boy, remember you’re back up today, don’t play like you can push back this kind of threat on your own with the brats limited amount of energy.” Innocentius took a step towards the mist of poison before men and woman appeared with guns and started to rush into the mist, they were spouting something about the building was originally under attack by demons earlier that day judging by the damage they saw on their way there. The fiend’s golden aura filled up with rage as he combusted into a giant pillar of golden flames. ”Hey boy, your school wasn’t just attack by Astaroth.” the demon said as he started to enter the mist and it began to catch on fire; a golden fire that seemed to spread along the mist and forcing it backwards as Innocentius made his way through it. The demon looked around while he was within the mist and began to sniff into the air and exhaled a stream of fire from his nostrils. ”There were Garm here. It doesn’t surprise me much though, they are the spawn of an Astaroth and Iblis crossing; they are nothing more than pests. But it seems they didn’t stay here very long.” The beast said as he continued moving as if he was a beacon of light, only manipulating the flames and allowing them to burn on their own rather than using up his master’s energy too swiftly.

The Pazuzu watched as the wind ensnared the demons, splitting their bodies in to multiple sections. She could hear the bodies slam against the ground constantly as she hovered within the air and began to listen to the orders given to her by her master. The wind goddess couldn’t say she was pleased that she was going to be forced to lower her tactics to something as barbaric as close range combat and protecting the exorcist that had shown up to perform a search and rescue on the area. The continuous sound of the large wings beating against the wind filled her heart as she looked to the right and saw flashes of light coming from below. The pounding of gun fire chimed within the demon’s ears causing her to let out a sigh just after she was berated softly by Ignazio.

“Forgive me, master.” She said as she hovered above the miasma and soon dived back down into the mist and landed on top of the dorm. She looked around within the murky sea of destruction and glared slightly as she began to try and see through the destruction. ”Alright, let’s finish this quickly.” she said as she pulled her lower wings from her flesh. The ripping of flesh and groans coming from the Pazuzu’s body was only within her range, allowing her to fully prepare for close quarter combat. As she took each wing within her hands she held them before her breast in a defensive patter before falling off of the building. Her upper wings spread open as she landed behind a group of exorcist whom were firing their weapons at the ghouls. One of the men looked back and soon the battle positions changed as they aimed at the Pazuzu. ”Don’t worry; I’m on your side humans. My master has sent myself and his fiend to ensure your survival. Allow me to handle these demons for you.” she said as she walked pass the men and women whom had pointed their weapons and slowly backed away making an opening for the Pazuzu as she walked. The dragoons that were firing at the ghouls in front of her took a step back and then looked up at the Pazuzu, before she walked passed them. She kept her sword likes wings at her sides as she stood before the dragoons and opened her wings up to shield them from the sight of her wrath. ”Innocentius will deal with the Miasma and I’ll deal with the trash.” she sung before pushing off the ground with her talons and letting out a powerful yell as she dashed for the demons of Rot. The Pazuzu pushed off of the ground and swung the massive wing as if it was a sword slicing at the rot demons. Garuda continued to move down the lines slashing at the demons and even released quills from the wing blades she were holding in order to attack the demons that were at a longer range. Garuda could hear the exorcist cheering as she fought the other demons alone. Soon she was standing in the middle of the open field before the entrance of the house with dead demon animals around her body. The dragoons then called over to her to take care of the rest as they entered the House of Kurthnaga. The Pazuzu turned and slashed the blood off of her wings allowing it to splatter along the ground.

Meanwhile the fiend known as Innocentius continued on his path setting the poisonous gas a blaze. The flames that coated his body shined like gold upon the empty chaos that he couldn’t see while inside the gas. The raised his body up to stand on his rear legs and let out a might roar before fire came from his mouth in the form of a large flamethrower. The Witch Hunter King’s previous flames continued to burn, which brought forth a little bit of the starlight from the night’s sky. The fiend continued to move forward as he spewed more flames from his body. A Stream of fire came from his hands then some from his beastly back, while others came from the very ground that he was walking along after each step. The mist began to lighten as the demon continued his travels through the poisonous fog.

Watching as the fog of poison began to lift from the area she could almost perfectly make out Innocentius’ location without looking for just his aura. The golden light that was coming from his body, or better to be called the golden flames that were protruding from his body were enough for him to make out his imperial crown that adorn his head. She watched as the demon continued to make his way towards the house, but due to the light the Ghouls began to approach her position. ”You pitiful creatures fear the light so much. Perhaps I should make your death quick.” She said as she connected the two wings to create her bladed bow she was known for using. Garuda began to rotate the newly formed bow around before her body as if it was a spear. The actions were swift and beautiful that they even forced the mist to move away from her body as she sliced through the air with the bow. Soon Garuda came to a stop as she stabbed her left leg forward and her right behind her and she took aim at the demons that were approaching and pulled back on the thread that had appeared before her wrist. Garuda kept her position as she began to charge the wind gathering the dust around the tip of the bow that formed into an arrow. A smirk came across her face as the wind began to create a vacuum like effect forcing the golden flames that were spreading around the miasma to be pulled towards the demon. ”Guess I’ll help you out a little Innocentius.” she said as she held back the arrow of wind that was still pulling the fire towards her.

The fiend looked around and noticed the mist was lightening up slightly and soon he felt the wind picking up. The great demon’s head turned to the left and he saw his flames were being gathered by the swirling of the winds. ”So that’s your plan huh? Alright! Let’s do it then.” Innocenitus said as he let out a roar and soon the flames circling his body branched out and soon took on the appearance of wave. The demon held his right and left hands forward and sent the wave forward allowing it the push through the miasma. It didn’t matter how large the flames were, but if they were spread far enough he could cover more areas and manipulate the flames to eat at the miasma at an accelerated rate. ”Time to burn in hell” he muttered before he began laughing hysterically as he continued walking forward forcing more and more fire from his hands.

The lights of the flames were getting closer and closer but so were the demons of Astaroth; the Ghouls. Garuda waited until the very last second to release the arrow of compressed wind which flew down the line of ghouls rapidly splitting them into but also allowing their bodies to be devoured by the golden flames of purification and caused the golden flames to spread further along the lines from Innocentius’ body. The arrow exploded as it hit the stream of flames that Innocentius had stretched out for her allowing the flames to erupt to the sky and spew to the top of the miasma cloud. Garuda looked around and then looked up at the light that she helped create. ”It would appear that we don’t have much time left Innocentius. We should finish this area quickly. I don’t know how long Lord Ignazio will be patient for us to deal with this before he calls for those other two. ” Garuda flapped her wings and pushed herself into the sky. The demons should avoid the building itself due to the golden flames that protected the area as a beacon of hope. She soon flew over the roof of the house and took to the skies above the miasma. ”If this keeps traveling this way I don’t think the barrier master Ignazio created will be strong enough to deal with it.”

The fiend continued to send out waves of fire from the areas that were burning with the golden flames. The flames seemed to radiate around his body and stretch out every few steps he would take in order to burn the poison that was polluting the air. The fiend heard the voice of the Pazuzu and turned to look at her position. He could almost completely make out her body now; it would seem that their attacks were working. Although it was taking longer than he figured it would. ”Yeah, I’m working on it. I’m trying to keep the size of the attacks to a minimum. But you’re right, we should finish this up quickly. So…here it goes.” He called over to the bird demon and slammed his giant right hand onto the ground and began to growl until the flames around him created a massive glyph around the area. “ Jaō Ensatsu Rengoku Shō (Wicked King Immolation Purgatory Scorch)” the demon roared loaded. The circle began to create several immense pillars of the golden flames, normally this technique is used to trap a target within the growing inferno and destroy them, but due to the golden flames being used, the surrounding area and the Innocentius would be safe, and even Garuda since she took to the skies. The demon only focused on the pillars striking the Miasma leaving everything else unharmed.

In the two weeks that followed the fight for the battle to save True Cross, a lot happened. After successfully completing his mission with Lloyd, the young man and the rest of the half breeds taking the exorcist qualification exams from True Cross were immediately put on trial in front of the Grigori; That's right, they went all the way to the Vatican in order to decide what exactly they were to do with the group. Many, as expected, wanted their death. The shocking revelation of the children of the Demon Lords caused panic and chaos within the Vatican. Titus himself could not believe it at the time. His plan to become an exorcist and kill the king of every demon alive was ending before it had even gotten started yet. Hell, he wasn't even a full fledged exorcist yet! The young man however, sat there quietly, listening to the old men among the Grigori blab off about various things. The main point that saved the four; Rin Okimura. The one that saved the world known as Assiah by sealing the crazy b*****d known as Satan away. He gave his life in the process, but was able to leave the world with temporary peace. Key word being temporary. Titus could not live with just "sealing" away Satan. No, he wanted to END Satan. Thoughts of his ambition went through his mind, as he stared blankly at the court room. It was then that Mr. Ignazio Barthomeloi stepped up and defended the four of them. It earned the man a blank stare from the silver haired half breed. Was he to rely on him from now on? What was that man's true purpose? In the end, the four were set free, with a few conditions; They would be constantly watched, and at any moment where they lost control of their human self, they would be killed right on the spot.

Upon returning home, a number of things were revealed to Titus. Takeru Mizugi, Titus's roommate, had gone missing, and when they checked their room all of his belongings were gone. No traces of him were left in the room, save a few of the textbooks Titus needed. One of his only friends at True Cross, reported to be gone. Another thing, his cousin had quit the exorcist route, and dropped out of True Cross Academy for reason unknown. The half breed had no knowledge of this from his grandparents, and it is unclear whether or not the child made it back to the Souga family. Once he started school again, the half breed noticed the difference in treatment that he was receiving from the other Cram students. They walked by him in fear, as if they knew what he really was. The regular True Cross students treated him the same way as always, ignoring him, or calling him the usual names that he had learned to block out. Surprisingly, he made little to no contact with Iggy, Lloyd, Alex, Joushi, Alaric, or Akemi after the trial, which was rather strange to him. Even the Vatican stopped contacting him after the trial. News of whether he passed the Qualification Exams or not did not come to him either. With that, the young man continued his basic training, trying to learn how to use the flames of creation better. The man known as Mr. Barthomeloi had yet to contact him about that "special", life or death training program he had planned for Titus. In fact; He did not contact him at all after the trial! The young man clicked his tongue as he looked at his smartphone. Still not a single message, or email from anyone important. What was going to happen to him?.

Tuesday, in the dorms, and the aforementioned half breed felt a little... Under the weather to say the least. Life without having a family member to cook him breakfast everyday, or a roommate to lend him money talk to was finally getting to him. Also, the anticipation and worry he felt about getting promoted was rather troublesome; Did he pass or not? How long did it take for some old guys to say "Ok, you're in" or "Sorry, try again later"? As he looked out the window, he frowned in disgust. Rain. Oh how he hated the rain. It reminded him of many things, such as school and being stuck inside. Sneaking out would be hard for him, even if it was only raining ever so slightly.

The young man groaned in the office chair he sat in, leaning back so that his face was parallel to the ceiling. Yes, that new team of students, what was it called... Judgement? They were patrolling the streets of True Cross Town at night as well, enforcing the curfew for students. How was he supposed to get snacks now? Without his snacks, the male knew he was doomed to hate student life. The whole thing was unnecessary, really. Being watched by the Order AND some students? The thought just made him troubled in general. Sighing, he sat back up in his chair, staring at the rebuilt and fixed school that sat in the distance. It amazed him how fast they fixed the Academy, and even made a few additions to it before reopening the school for the students. Sighing once more, he fiddled with his fingers, wondering when he'd get the results of the exam. 'Does it really take THIS long to grade some exam? I killed a lot of those damned rotten things, right? That's enough isn't it? I'm pretty sure I save some students too... Not to mention Mr.Crimson made me put up some talismans... Which I did!...' The young man shook his head, now wondering what kind of process the Vatican, or the Grigori, or whoever it was grading the exam, took to say yes or no. The silver haired half breed could not help but be stressed. All he really wanted to do was take a quick nap, or just sleep in the rest of the day but he realized he should go to class... Or not.
