Gabriel felt his breathing evening out, and he began to relax against Des almost against his will. "I never saw her powered down," he said, and then he closed his eyes. "I wish I had - it'd be nice to know who the ******** she was." He slid his arms around Des's neck. "I don't...probably where they fell. I - I could put in a 911 call, but someone else might already have...And I don't want to go back there and see..."

"Perhaps it's for the best then..." Gabriel didn't need to know if this was someone he knew. Someone he trusted. Who knew what would happen if Gabriel started doubting the people around him. The people he trusted most.. "It's alright Angel.. You don't have to do anything you don't want too.." Des kissed the top of Gabriel's head, hugging him tightly. "Everything will be alright Gabriel... I promise." Desmond rubbed Gabriel's leg, kissing his head. "...I know that you're probably not up for it.. But do you wanna take a drive? I've got something I wanna show you."

Gabriel lifted his head up, and then nodded slowly. Des never asked for things for no reason - if he wanted to go somewhere, it meant something. "Alright, let's...let's go." Besides, going anywhere else sounded nice right now.
