Jace smirked as Henrietta goaded him on, but froze on the ground at the sudden roar from the forest, his eyes growing wide. Slowly, he released Yuri's leg, turning to sit up in the snow as he looked around for any source of the noise. "Uh..."
The boy's pokemon lifted their heads, Komashi's conversation with the little eevee coming to a quick pause for the moment as she too looked around. <>
Chester, after looking around a bit, moved himself closer to his charge, ready to fight if needed.

Henrietta's first response at the sound of the roar was to look at Gummy... As though he could have done it. Gummy blinked, impassively, back. The Totodile remained unconcerned by distant roars. "Maybe it was an echo?" She wondered aloud, though she doubted it. "It sounded kinda far away but awesome whatever it was!"
Fluffster started yipping, in response, as though trying to challenge the whatever it was, though she paused, grinning, to respond to Komashi. <>

Standing up fully Yuri looked around and started brushing the snow off.
"I dunno," Yuri said doubtfully to Hen's theory of it being an echo.

As Chester approached and took his place at the boy's side, Jace rose to his feet, still looking around. "Should we go find out?" he asked both Henrietta and Yuri, before glancing over to the charmeleon as well.
Chester continued to survey the treeline, shrugging a little at the boy's suggestion.
Komashi watched the eevee turn to bark at the sound, blinking at her remarks. <>

"It might be something /awesome!/ I vote we do!" Henrietta grinned- echo, or not, it had sounded cool. "Hey, Gummy! C'mon, no one's gonna steal a snowlax!" She called to her Totodile, bidding him to leave the half-finished creation that he was using as a throne; the girl ready to set right off into the forest to have a good look right away.
Fluffster bounced up and down, yipping excitedly. <>

Yuri put a hand on his hip and looked at the kids amusedly.
"Sure, why not?" He replied, seeing no harm in checking it out. It was probably just some Pokemon and between the three of them they had enough Pokemon and a sword to protect themselves.

Komashi stayed quiet a minute, her gaze distant as she turned toward the forest. Was that so...
Jace, at both Henrietta's enthusiasm and Yuri's easy going attitude, smiled brightly, and headed toward Henrietta at a run. "Let's go, let's go! What do you guys think it is? Hey, maybe your ho-oh can fight it if it's too big, Yuri!" he suggested, thrilled at the idea of seeing the legendary again, especially if it was battling.
Chester followed behind his trainer, still watching the treeline cautiously, and Komashi rose to her feet, ready to follow the group as well, though for now, she stood by the eager little eevee. Dawn fluttered nearby, then zoomed after the children, aiming to get in front of them--just in case.

"Ooh! That would be so cool!" Henrietta agreed at the idea of the Legendary being out. It was still odd to think that Yuri had one in a pokéball... especially one so linked to her home region, but she really did like the idea of seeing it in action. "I bet it's something big like an Onyx maybe? Or maybe it's an Ursaring!" She'd wanted an Ursaring for quite a long time.
Gummy reluctantly, most likely, trudged with the group, while Bistra attempted to keep up with Dawn, and Fluffster flounced and raced in rings around the group, yapping excitedly all the way; she was not good at stealth.
After a little distance, around the treeline, in the snow, the keen-eyed amongst them would probably be able to make out some rather large prints.
