It took just a moment for Mitsu to gather herself, pulling her head free from the pile of snow and shaking the white powder from her face. By the time she did this Shun had already taken cover but she could tell he was close, she could smell him.
Now with solid ground under her feet, she lifted herself up onto all four paws and began to sniff not even bothering to shift back. She hurriedly followed the trail knowing Shun would likely be on the move. The trail led her around the mound of snow which was where she found her assassin hiding in wait. With tail wagging she pounced at him, knowing he would likely be no match for her weight unless he moved.

Shun was trying to think of what he should do now, since his assault was already done with. He really didn't have much time to think, as he soon saw a looming shadow cast over him. The Reaper began to move, but he was a moment too slow. And soon he was pinned down, if not somewhat flattened from the lower body down.
With a grunt, he began to try and squirm out from under her.

She had him pinned! And like an over excited puppy she began to nose at his hair and lick at his face because obviously that was her idea of an assault in this form. His squirming didn't seem to bother her much but he was probably making some head way even if only a little.

And then she started to lick him, which had Shun squirming even more. He was somewhat less enthusiastic over wolf kisses than when she was in her humanoid form. But he had his hands up, trying to block her off, while attempting to shimmy out from under her.

Mitsu continued her assault, licking and nuzzling at his head even as he attempted to escape. Eventually though he would find that her weight had lifted and a much lighter weight would be rested on his back, with a pair of arms wrapping around his shoulders.
"So do I win?" Mitsu's tail was wagging as she continued to lay against Shun's back keeping him pinned in the snow. Though in her student form she definitely didn't have the weight to throw around to keep him put.

The form on his back grew smaller and lighter, so Shun could only assume she was shifting. After a bit, he had stopped squirming and just sort of laid there while she rested on top. He turned his head to the side to try and get a better look at her with his right eye.
"Perhaps... for now," he murmured.

There was only a happy smile to greet him as he turned to look at her, pleased with his answer. Wrapping her arms a little tighter around his shoulders she snuggled in closer and kissed his cheek only to pull back.
"Heh..your face is all wet." She tried to look innocent...but it was obviously all her fault.

"Uh huh," he said while giving her a somewhat flat look. Shun shifted around so that he could sit up and turned towards her, though he first went and tried to dry off his face a bit. With that bit of business done, he stood on up and held his hands out to help her up as well.
"Good work today. You learned from some of your mistakes and picked up quickly," he praised before pulling her into a gentle embrace.

Shifting off him as Shun began to move Mitsu laid with her back in the snow as Shun sat up and wiped off his face. As he stood to his feet she took his hand and stood up as well dusting herself off to free herself of the cold white powder.
His praise of her work earned him another smile, nuzzling into his embrace as his arms came around her. She still had a long way to go to catch up to her reaper but all in all it wasn't a bad day she supposed.

Shun lingered in the embrace for a few moments before stepping back to let go.
"That should be enough for one day. Let's head on back and warm up."
Getting covered with snow and the like had chilled him pretty good. That, and he would like to get back to wearing dark clothing. The white served its purpose among the snow, but he felt strange wearing so much of it.

The cold hadn't bothered Mitsu and her new boots had served their purpose in keeping her feet nice and warm. As Shun pulled away, Mitsu loosened her embrace to allow him to step back, straightening her stance and looking in the direction she thought the school was. Or...was it that way?
"Alright. Maybe we can have some warm tea and spookies when we get back." That sounded like a nice treat. And Mitsu still had yet to realize that Shun didn't like spookies anymore.

"That sounds like an excellent idea."
Well. The tea part at least. Shun would be skipping out on any cookies. This much was certain. Perhaps he could grab a different sort of snack.
Reaching for her hand, he entwined his fingers with hers and gently began to lead her out of the woods.
