B61 The torture room was a most welcome change of pace, like an old entertaining friend. He still wondered how you went about renting workshop space out down here and made a note to ask the quartermaster about it, a torture rack would be great to stretch skins out on while they were drying and would remove the need for hand built frames to do ********, he was planning projects, what was the point, he didn't have any of his s**t, or any of his skins any longer.

There was another fly in this room. He was practically a mobile extermination service, scrabbling around in the darkness.

When he found the next room, he at first assumed it was empty, until on closer inspection he realised there was something on the wall, assuming it had to be some water damage or something equally dull, he moved over to check it out, and froze as a huge infinity symbol loomed before him in his field of night vision.
He reached out to touch it - not considering that to do so might be dangerous - and felt the odd intricate grooves of chipped wall. It had to have taken a long long time to do and was deeply spooky. He couldn't think of why it was there or what it stood for, and didn't want to tempt fate.
Closing the door behind him, he left that particular room behind.
Quote: 71-75: The room is empty, but you notice an infinity symbol has been carved into a wall. Closer inspection shows the huge symbol was formed by thousands upon thousands of tiny knife marks. It must have taken years. (1 room only)

Rep didn't expect to find his hoard down here. He was looking for treasure. But somehow finding his familiar and all important pile of junk was better than any alternative treasure he could ever have discovered
The maggots didn't even bother him, they'd been there before, their numbers at this point were just unacceptable.
Way too ******** unacceptable. He hesitated uncertainly, and then got out his phone.
Quote: 16-20: You find Rep's hoard, which has been moved down to the basement. Hundreds of maggots the size of small cats are crawling over the contents. In a fit of pique, Dr. H had the entirety of the room moved down to the basement, rather than disposing of the rotting meat and experiments. The maggots move closer to you. Lots of bugs. Because that was news Harrison had wanted to hear.
He came, but what he brought was mostly a bunch of nervousness. Maybe Rep should have called someone else.
He got unnecessarily close to Rep, B0nez already in both fists.
The rotting composites of the nest looked familiar. So did one of the maggots with a gimpy leg, and another one with a bent antennae, and another with an errant grey patch on its back.
"...Aren't these ones your bugs?" Harrison ventured.

Rep wasn't sure he could handle the scale the infestation had grown to, he'd kept tabs on the numbers before, making sure no one got too big for their metaphorical boots, but they'd just been dragged down here and left unchecked for who knew how ******** long.
"Aye." he said with a grim look of determination. "This is my s**t. They just bred a lot of ******** friends when they should really ******** know better."
Despite the danger, backing off just wasn't an option, there was too much down there that was important to him. It represented stability and control in this chaotic and miserable floating pile of s**t. It was his anchor and he'd drag it back from the brink with everything he had.
