Tiffany was growing tired waiting for Briar to come back with her pie, and she wasn't hungry enough to go to the cafeteria and eat lunch. All of the other cheerleaders were in their individual rooms decorating. Tiffany couldn't do that until Briar came back and they could decorate their room together.
So, with a sigh, Tiffany stood up from the immensely-comfortable couch, stretched her back out until it cracked loudly, and then walked out of the cheerleader's lounge. For awhile, she found herself wandering around the different halls of the school. She had gone in the opposite direction of the cafeteria, so she didn't end up running into Briar, Armand, or Meia. She just simply wandered around for awhile, looking for either friends to talk with or something interesting to catch her eye.
Eventually, Tiffany found herself outside on the school grounds. She walked along the enormous lake for awhile. She had hoped to see some water pixies dancing along the surface, but maybe it wasn't late enough in the evening for them to come out, yet.
Then, Tiffany walked down the long hill and began to walk along the school's perimeters. She hadn't been walking long when she heard something nearby. She stopped in her tracks, stood still for a few moments, and then looked around for the source of the sound. Then, she heard it again. It almost sounded like a voice. Being best friends with an elf helped her hone her hearing. Briar could hear nearly anything within a block's radius. So, Tiffany's own hearing had increased dramatically since becoming friends with Briar years ago. She learned to listen better and notice the subtleties of sound.
After looking around for a few moments, she saw a head with black hair pop up from the top of one of the trees. She cupped her hand above her eyes so that the sun didn't glare into them and she could see better.
"Hey! Hey you! What are you doing up there? Shouldn't you be getting your room ready?"

"My Joy is my Freedom!" The words of a young lad named... Shira "Shi" Kuriama The Free Spirit Kid. My Power is Fire and Darkness! FEAR ME! Or just..You know...FIGHT! ---- Moving from tree to tree, Shira was moving a bit fast. He was flipping in between trees and moving with such speed, that it would seem like he is a ninja. He found himself near a hill, going up to the school. "Whoa..."
As he said that, he noticed someone was talking to him from the ground. Shira looked down and saw a light brownish haired girl looking right back up to him. He was surprised that there was people out this far outside the school. The girl asked him a question about what he was doing up there, and ...his room getting ready? What did she mean by that? Shira doesn't have a room... At least not yet.
Shira stood over a branch, and jumped down. He flipped two times, and landed safely in front of her. He looked up at her, noticing that she was actually a bit taller than him. "Wow you are tall..." Shira smiled at her, with his innocent glare, "What is this room you speak of? I'm not apart of this school yet..."

Tiffany watched as as the boy flipped from tree to tree. She was impressed. He seemed quite agile and very energetic. She wondered if he was an elf, too.
When the boy landed in front of her, Tiffany's eyes were quite wide. He had flipped down right in front of her. That had surprised her. And he was shorter than her. She was 5'6 herself, so she wasn't exceptionally tall, but she was taller than a few boys her age. A lot of times, boys grew taller slower than girls did.
"Well, uh, I guess I'm tall. You should meet my friend, though. She's an elf, and she's 5'8. She's only 16."
"And... you're not a part of this school, yet? Well that explains why I don't recognize you. The room I was talking about is your dorm room, but if you're new, you don't know which one is yours, yet. I can take you to the school office if you want where you'll get your room assignment."

"My Joy is my Freedom!" The words of a young lad named... Shira "Shi" Kuriama The Free Spirit Kid. My Power is Fire and Darkness! FEAR ME! Or just..You know...FIGHT! ---- "Whoa she sounds pretty tall..."
Shira looked up at the girl with a smile. If there was another tall girl here, then Shira has to meet her. For some reason, he looked up to taller people, because he knew that he was going to get that tall one day. Whenever his growth spurt happens. Then again, he is only 14 so it's not like it's not going to happen soon. He just has to be patient and wait for it.
"I can't wait to meet her.."
The girl realized that he wasn't really apart of the school yet, so she explained what she meant about the room. Shira shrugged a bit, thinking that this means he'll have to probably clean up every now and then if teachers or someone comes in to check if the room is straight away. At least that's what he thinks. The girl asked if she can take him into the school to get a room assignment. Shira shook his head with delight.
"Lead the way missy!"

"Armand you foul evil- Yaowlll!!!" But whatever Meia was about to say to Armand was never heard as the fox was soon plucked clean off his head by none other then his sister Briar, the elf. Meia flailed her short furry limbed as she felt she was being squeezed to death! "Eh, nice to see you too Briar." She breathed out. "Um...not so….tight please." Meia added, wriggling slightly until she found a semi comfortable position in Briar's arms. "That’s better."
Meia would have been content to stay right there, scowling at Armand while she got elf cuddles, but fate was not so kind. All the yelling and flame throwing had the funny ability to attract attention. Once Miss Keres rounded the corner, Meia's ears pinned down flat on her head. "But, but, Miss Keres! Armand pulled on my tale! I was provoked! And Briar didn't even do anything!" Meia argued, even though her excuse sounded like something a puppy would use. It was really the only defence she had against the great injustice of getting detention on the first night back.

Tiffany chuckled at the boy’s observation of Briar’s height. He seemed innocent and fun. It was cute. “Well, when we run into her, I’ll introduce you. Have you ever seen an elf before?”
Tiffany started leading the way back up to the school. Then, she remembered that she hadn’t even introduced herself to the boy, and she didn’t know his name. “Oh, I just realized that we haven’t been introduced. I’m sorry. That’s really rude of me. The woman in charge of my dormitory would be appalled. My name’s Tiffany.”
Tiffany held out her hand to the boy to shake his. “I’m a junior here.”

Briar slightly loosened her arms when she heard Meia say something about holding her too tightly. She allowed her fox friend to get into a comfortable position before she brought her closer to her face and cuddled Meia’s furry face to her own. She cooed and spoke nonsensical words to her friend. “You’re so cute, yes you are! Such a feisty little thing. Grrr!”
She giggled and cuddled Meia close to her again before she looked over at her brother. “You shouldn’t pick on her Mand! You shouldn’t pick on adorable little creatures.”
Briar’s words were cut off when she suddenly felt the temperature in the hall drop. Her muscles tensed, though she was careful not to squeeze Meia too hard. Elves were very sensitive to extreme, sudden temperature changes. They could easily withstand extreme temperatures, but their bodies would react to sudden change.
“What is going on? How can it suddenly get so cold in the summer?”
Briar looked around for the source of the cold. A few moments later, her eyes landed on a child with cold eyes and a cold demeanor. If she hadn’t known any better, she would have thought it was a young student. But, Briar DID know better. She knew who this person was, and her muscles tensed again, though not from the cold this time. It was one of the history teachers, Miss Keres. Actually, Briar didn’t know if Keres was her first or last name, but Briar always put ‘Miss’ in front of the name to be respectful. Briar was always respectful of elders… even if this elder was rumored to have killed a student in the past.
Briar did not interrupt Miss Keres when she spoke, even when she said that Briar should take better care of Armand. She was the youngest, so why should she take better care of him? Sure, she was only technically a few months younger than Armand, but still… Although, if she were honest with herself, she would admit that she did tend to look after her brother almost like a big sister would. He could get himself in trouble if he was left to his own devices. Armand needed looking after, whether he wanted to admit it or not.
Her mouth dropped, though, when the teacher gave them all detention, even Briar! In a very un-elf-like fashion, Briar stuttered for a few moments before she started to piece together a reply. She had never had detention before in her life! The teachers loved her.
“Miss…. Miss Keres! I don’t understand… Miss Keres, I understand your need to reprimand wrong-doers, but I have not done anything wrong! I am an innocent bystander! Please do not give me detention. I have never had detention before… ever!”

"My Joy is my Freedom!" The words of a young lad named... Shira "Shi" Kuriama The Free Spirit Kid. My Power is Fire and Darkness! FEAR ME! Or just..You know...FIGHT! ----
Shira looked up at the woman, mentioning about the elf and if he ever seen one before. Well, Shira really never ventured out of his home till now. His home was filled with Humans, so he wouldn't know any other species other than Humans, and maybe special humans like himself. "I'm not really sure what a Elf is..." He mentioned to her, as he followed her towards the school, "...I really haven't left my home and met other people other than the people from my hometown.."
Shira continued to follow her. He noticed that the Academy was near, because he could the the top of the towers that the school had. It was still pretty far away, but a five minute drive if he had a bike or a car. Suddenly, The girl turned to him. She was telling him that she hasn't even introduce herself. Shira chuckled a bit, since he really didn't introduce himself as well. "...Well my name Is Shira... and I'm a Sophomore!" He explained, "It's nice to meet you~"
He turned back towards the school, "...So how do you like the school?"
