I remember when I was new to DEG... Well, more new-er than I am now. But anyway, the guy was talking about Diru and Laruku and I didn't know what the guy was talking about. But it was Dir en Grey and L'Arc~en~Ciel. sweatdrop
Anyways I'm trying to rename my mp3 of "Byo Shin". It used to be "Byo Shin", but I'm trying to rename it to "Byou [] Shin". But when I rename it "Byou [] Shin", the "Dir en Grey" part of it becomes "Dir en grey"!! I don't get what's going on... eek

AlaLavei Emiri Neko Eddou I've been saying it deer en grey, because I mostly talk in french about them with my best friend and i in french is ee. so dir en grey. and I've always spelled it Dir en Grey with a big G because I love how that looks. and I love the DeG abreviation. not Deg I used to love the way "Dir en Grey" looked too. And I hated the 'g' in lower-case, thought it looked ugly. D< But then I always saw in their PVs "Dir en grey" and soon got used to it and now I think a upper-case G looks weird. gonk But what bugs me the most is..."Dir En Grey" D:
I always use Diru as an abbreviation instead of DeG or Deg. 3nodding xp Yeah, but if you're talking to someone who hasn't been listening that long and drop "Diru" they get all confused. ): That happened in a conversation between my friend and I.
"I'm kinda depressed, Ari, cuz Diru's playing in NYC and the tickets are sold out..." "Aw, that sucks... But maybe Dir en grey will play, too, and you can go to that..." xd

Dur. All you have to do is listen to people chanting, and no one really says Deer. Except for a couple of Canadians I knew at the show. So, I guess it depends on where you're from.
I used to write it as Dir en Grey, but they romanize it themselves as Dir en grey, so that's official enough for me. But either way, it doesn't really matter.
