After eating the last bit of his pretzel and using a napkin to brush off the last of the cinamon and suger clinging to his fingers, Arian had cleared away his own side of the mess before reaching for his rucksack and settling the bag on his bag.

He shook his head at Nischal's question "No I'm on foot today." Actually Arian was often on foot as he didn't mind walking and as a consequence tended to get out and about a lot on foot, although he did occasionally shell out for the bus - although that was generally reserved for days where he was either running late or had to get across to the other side of town to where he was. "I have to head in the direction of the ice skating rink on my way back though, so if you're heading in that direction then we could walk together at least that far and if the bus stop you need is the one that's round the corner to street that the rink's on then I can walk with you as far as the stop." It was a little out of his way, but not so much as to make that much of a difference to him.

Nischal's automatic reach for his hand had taken Arian a little by surprise - after all unlike the whole rigmarole of trying to get off the ice rink from earlier, he couldn't see any real reason for them to need to hold hands.

He ended up tugged forward a couple of steps, before his brain caught up to the fact that Nischal was tugging him in the direction of the door and despite his bemused puzzlement, Arian upped his pace so that he wasn't totally being led out the door.

"I guess it's goodbye for now" he agreed quietly, as a part of him wondered briefly if Nischal was as touchy feely with all his prospective friends, before dismissing the thought - after all although he wasn't personally the most demonstrative person, some of his friends were, with one thinking nothing of greeting him with random hugs for whatever the reason - mayhaps Nischal was kind of that way too.

Arian wasn't sure yet how a friendship between them would play out, or whether it would even play out at all but Nischal had been kind of sweet and had made for pleasant company - although whether that would make for a proper friendship, only time would tell.

For now though he raised his hand in a slight wave "Have a safe trip home Nischal" before turning to start making his own way home.
